I’m curious, alterhumans who are also furries, so y’all feel at all as though you are your fursona? Like is it one of your ‘types or maybe you just have a stronger connection to it than most furries?

For me my fursona is the same species as my theriotype and sometimes I really feel like I am my fursona, although I wouldn’t consider it one of my ‘types specifically

The struggle is real because I’m literally always fantasizing about running around on all fours but when I actually do it it’s very physically difficult and hurts my paws after like two minutes 😭

Then I get home and I’m like “dang maybe I should’ve stayed out and kept doing it longer I miss it already” But when I was actually out there, I was like freezing my ass off and out of breath

Btw y’all if anyone who has family that are chill with furries or at least won’t be mad about you being one, but would be mad/upset about you being a therian, and you want to have like masks, ears, tails, collars, etc. without having to hide them, I recommend telling your family that it’s furry stuff! It works really well for me lol

I mostly use therian, I’m also cool with alterhuman and nonhuman although they are a bit less specific (that’s just how I see it). I think I could technically use otherkin although to my understanding it’s more about mythical/non-earthen beings so since I’m a cat I don’t use it.

I’m a weirdo who pretty much never listens to music so I actually don’t really have any music that I associate with my theriotype!

Yes! I like to wear a lot of black to look more like a black cat, and wearing soft things like sweaters is nice because it feels like a pelt. I actually just got a black wool jacket with black fur on the hood and it feels very me and I love it so much!
