First of all - I'm so sorry for not seeing this until now! Tumblr has once again eaten your ask and I only saw it while checking this tumblr's email account. Same for your one of Poet - both are lovely, and tumblr is just being a bitch rn. (That's also the reason this is on anon, as I had to resend it to myself)

But, without further delay or ado :

A: Your current OTP.

My current OTP is Aragorn/Faramir, they are just so lovely together and I'm such a fan of all the tropes I can fit into them. Healing/healing, healer/healer, royal/aid, royal/bodyguard to an extent, so many more! Also I'm slightly feral about both of them!

However, I will admit that I am a multi-shipper at heart.... so both Aragorn and Faramir also work very well with different people. I think a truer OTP would technically be Bloodweave? (Astarion/Gale from bg3) As although there is still some multi-shippery with them (*cough* Wyllstarion) there's less.

L: Your favorite fanartist/author gives you one request, what do you ask for?

Anything?? Hmmm... I'll admit I'm not convinced I have a favourite fanartist, but I think @/scary-grace is my favourite author (not tagged because I don't just want to tag them for a request). I'd love to see their approach on anything Aragorn related, to be honest - especially after the fourth age.

Mentioning them, I will forever rec seeking a friend. It's just incredible!

S: What’s a headcanon you have?

I get to do any headcanon?? Hmmm... I think the one most prevalent in my works is that Faramir was severely hurt in the fire. The specifics of injuries sometimes change, but most frequently it's third degree burns on his left upper arm & torso - along with second degree burns on his legs and lower left arm. These third degree burns are bad enough to cause permanent nerve damage with the extent he cannot feel any pain in them, and cannot feel pressure on the sides of his torso (slowly returns more to the middle - not in the back).

As a result of this, Faramir has chronic pain (mainly manifesting as burning sensations in heavily scarred areas as well as fatigue), which also impacts his ability to walk (he's a cane user, although it takes him a while to accept that - and a wheelchair may be more advantageous). Faramir also suffers with PTSD after the fire, most obviously manifesting in an aversion to flames - but also to intense physical pain.

I'm really fucken confused, what is happening with typholosion? From the memes I feel like it might be another vaporeon situation but also what's up with "not all typholosions"? that guy is just a cute little creechur what's wrong with them

ok so i'm going to try to explain this in a comprehensive way while also not blowing shit out of proportion like the rest of the internet has

the teraleak happened. what's the teraleak? a terabyte of pokémon info got leaked (maliciously, i believe, but idk for sure) and we got a shit ton of info in this leak, among other things.

some of that shit includes in-world lore about pokémon, including things like the conceptual framework for the creation story of the pokémon world, and some other things were (essentially) in-world folk stories. one of those folk stories was poorly translated (from japanese) by AI, not a human translator, about a typhlosion that did some...dubious things. this folk story was, in of itself, inspired by a story about a yokai from japanese folklore, known as mujina. mujina often appeared as badgers or tanukis that could shapeshift to deceive humans (similar to kitsune), and, like other yokai, they often got together with humans in japanese folklore.

gamefreak wrote a story about typhlosion doing some yokai fuckery that was never meant to see the light of day, that story was poorly translated in a rush to leak data, and then it was misconstrued by weird ass motherfuckers on the internet that lack reading comprehension.

"#not all typhlosions" is a tag that originated on twitter and idk if it was a thing here or not, but i added it to my post becuz i wanted to. that's an inside joke in of itself that i'm not going to elaborate on becuz i don't want to

the majority of the lore related stuff in the leak is not canon to any form of pokemon media (the games, the anime, the manga, etc). everything related to the lore of the pokémon world in the leaks should be taken with a grain of salt. you can pick and choose what parts should be a part of your headcanon(s) or your AUs or whatever—that's a part of the fun of fandom enjoyment, right??? right.

i love typhlosion and i won't let the internet dictate what pokémon i do and don't like . you shouldn't either !

then a teenager roasts him and he vanishes from history forever. you were probably the last of your countrymen to ever see or speak to him, the man who burned down everything you knew and loved for nothing at all. and like the second to last thing he ever said to you, right between imparting his existentialist philosophy and threatening to kill you, was that aliens are real. he didn't even pause, just said "go ask an alien" and went on with his speech like aliens existing was a baseline assumption everyone could agree on.
