Had to draw Tenna in Paint 3D at least once, what with how his sprites are rendered and all. I don't think I'm ever gonna draw in Paint 3D again, though, unless I get possessed by the devil or something. I have a newfound respect for folks who draw in Paint 3D often tho o7

Doing my part to get aromantic trending again on Valentine's this year by holding out one of my many aro headcanons where I just shot my aro beam at them because I like them.

Also! A couple of years ago I wrote a thing about this specific headcanon - you can read it here (on AO3) or here (on my Neocities)! I consider this piece as a sort of follow up to that :3

Yaridovich gijinka, and first art piece done entirely in 2024! (The Bowyer gijinka was started right at the end of 2023) I don't call Yari by his remake name, but i WILL sometimes call him the nickname Johnny does there.

In general, his design does take a bit from his original artwork! Particularly the eyes and the knobbly knees (they're supposed to be reminiscent of those lil knee nobbins he has in that art). The quote was also taken from the SNES version of the game! I felt the remake's version of his Thought Peek didn't fit the vibe of the piece.

Bowyer gijinka! As well some Aeros and part of the back of Geno's head.

Not the first time I've done a Bowyer gijinka! Not gonna link the post, but if you go onto this blog and look into the Super Mario RPG tag you'll be able to find it! I mostly based this version off that old one, but with some tweaks here and there to make things make more sense. Very proud of my improvement since then!

His bio in the remake, his pre-battle dialogue and the fact I remembered our cousin Throckmorton steered me towards a kind of 90's skater vibe for his design?

in the spirit of cabinet man day (christmas eve), here's 550NM, an oc i associate with the song! he's a toon in diguise and a long-time enemy of monochrome's, though for a time they were actually friends! but that was before NM got the idea to disguise himself as a cog....

nowadays monochrome does stuff like this to him. he knows it's his old friend in there so he doesn't make any attempts to hurt him
