I finished it a year later! The comic is an illustration of one of my favorite moments from the book. I started drawing this thing last summer when I was very interested in the "Prisoners of power". Actually, my skill has grown a little during this time, and I already see a lot of mistakes, but to fix them, I would have to start all over again, and I don't want that.

I tried to translate these lines for an English-speaking audience, but perhaps I did not succeed very well, since English is not my native language. I tried to adapt the text of the English translation of the book, for greater authenticity.

Я закончила это спустя ГОД! Коммикс-иллюстрация к одному из моих любимейших моментов из книги (Часть четвёртая. "Каторжник". Глава 14). Я начала эту штуку ещё прошлым летом, когда увлекалась "Обитаемым островом". На самом деле мой скилл немного подрос за это время и я уже вижу много ошибок, но чтобы исправить их пришлось бы начинать заново, а я не хочу. Дешифровку моего почерка оставляю вам, хах.

So I did it.

I've been painting this for almost a month, and I've finally finished it.

As you can see, this is a scene from the ending. In fact, this is my first Disco Elysium fanart. I started drawing it almost immediately after I completed the game. I was just thrilled to the point of goosebumps. I loved this game so much! Perhaps that is why this drawing was so difficult for me. It's all my perfectionism. After all, I can't draw a bad drawing based on what I like so much. It was especially difficult to draw Kim, because I LOVE HIM, DAMN IT! I have no right to draw him badly, because he is beautiful! In general, these are my troubles with my head, lol.

For a very long time I could not come up with a normal background, he did not want to fit into the overall composition.

In the process, I came up with two versions: evening and morning. I still couldn't choose one. They have slightly different moods and I like each one in different ways. That's why I'm publishing both. Which one do you like better?

Итак, я сделала это.

Я рисовала это почти месяц, и наконец-то закончила.

Как вы могли понять, это – сцена из концовки. По сути, это мой первый фанарт по Disco Elysium. Я начала его практически сразу, после того как прошла игру. Я была просто в восторге, расстрогана до мурашек. Я так сильно полюбила эту игру! Возможно, именно поэтому мне так сложно дался этот рисунок. Всему виной мой перфекционизм. Ведь я не могу нарисовать плохую работу по мотивам того, что мне так сильно нравится. Особенно трудно было рисовать Кима, ведь Я ОБОЖАЮ ЕГО, ЧËРТ ВОЗЬМИ! Я не имею права нарисовать его плохо, потому что он прекрасен! В общем, это всё мои беды с башкой, хах.

Ещё очень долго не могла придумать нормальный фон, он никак не хотел вписываться в общую композицию и тормозил всю работу.

В процессе у меня получилось две версии: вечерняя и утренняя. Я так и не смогла выбрать одну. У них немного разные настроения и каждая нравится мне по-разному. Поэтому публикую обе. А какая вам больше нравится?

I dedicated a page in a new sketchbook to my beloved man. For the first time I designed the page as a collage. I liked it, despite the fact that I was very afraid of making a mistake.

For example, I am very inspired by the work of the Strugatsky brothers.

Я – Старри, наивная художница, которая надеется связать свою жизнь с творчеством.

Рисую... Всякое. Если не сказать "всё подряд".

В основном это фан-арты, но они весьма и весьма неоднородны и порой не актуальны. У меня просто существует постоянно пополняющаяся коллекция фандомов (хотя, часть из них и фандомами назвать сложно), которые переодически каким-то образом резонируют с моей душой (боже, как пафосно-то). И среди них практически нет популярных или мейнстримных, так уж получилось.

Например, меня очень вдохновляет творчество братьев Стругацких.

Хотя, я не самый плодотворный автор и, скорее всего, здесь будут в основном учебные зарисовки.
