i’m back! the past few weeks have been really hectic + rough, but i think my schedule is finally a little steadier :) thanks to @cythianight, i’ve gotten back into learning norwegian and revising my french. she encouraged me to start a journal i norsk—i’m trying to make it a commitment! among other things, i’m happy to be painting, playing guitar, reading, sculpting (next week?), and i finally learned cake decorating

took these pics a few days ago but I’ve nearly finished everything on the to-do list! submitted my final papers for both my college classes :)

apple cinnamon pumpkin cupcakes! i’ve been trying to get back onto a productivity streak and today was decently progressive. i submitted a biological anthropology assignment, did some gerontology extra credit, replied to all my emails, filled out a form for next term’s psychology class, finished an envsci lab, started (and completed!) a web design project, wrote one page of my homo naledi research paper, and created an introduction to a writing piece

made a late breakfast this morning; listened to @cythianight’s piano cover of “kiss the rain”. it was wonderfully foggy today, and after completing an item from the weekend’s to-do list, a walk was the perfect post-work treat

last day of my two favorite classes was today and honestly, the whole quarter was a ride. i didn’t expect to like my classes or learn as much as i did, but i was very pleasantly surprised! here’s a bit from an anthro reading + a snippet of my final anthro project

i have a short club meet tmrw, which is also the last day of the quarter :’) i still have some work left in order to wrap things up

got my first ceramics project back from the kiln! i spent september making a moomin-themed mug, and i’m really happy with how it turned out. i won’t have ceramics again until april, but i’m looking forward to exploring other fields

it’s been raining for a while now and quarter 1 is nearly over

had my first club meet today and i have a small (socially distant) halloween drive-thru event tomorrow

my mother makes the best chocolate-chip pancakes ˚✧₊⁎⁺˳✧༚ on a side note, i have only three assignments left to complete and i’m low key obsessed with the soundtrack from the greatest showman

the temperature is dropping and the early morning hours are almost unbearably cold—to think that it topped 100°F just a while ago! i had an event today to kick off yet another hectic week :’)
