Day Six: Golden

Sooo fluffy…

Sometimes you have to fight a terrifying hydra/Venus Flytrap for primal fruit. Sometimes you have to resist the cuteness of a moonstone dragon pretending to be a tressym.

Based off of my own adorable treasure hoarder, this one is an easy favorite so far.

Day Five: Map

Sometimes you have to map out the plot. And sometimes you wake up screaming about your dick of an uncle being the root of everything wrong in your’s and all your friend’s lives. Based off the very often referenced conspiracy board on my character’s wall, and my own very manic ramblings when all the mental puzzle pieces clicked into place.

Day Four: Dodge

Who needs to dodge when you are a blade singing artificer with a lightning gun and the ability to hit 28 AC for short periods of time?

Am I just excited that I have finally leveled up my wizard to be high enough to do cool shit? Yes. Does she unnecessarily have a gun because it’s cool, and damn it I invested in artificer, I better get something out of it? Also yes. Does she also have a +11 to her concentration checks??? Listen the girl can hyperfocus like no one else. She might be a glass cannon, but now she’s a tempered glass cannon.

Day Three: Path

And I’m caught up! Here is another adventure from my DnD party where our students got drunk off their asses and decided the best thing to do in such circumstances would be to adventure into the incredibly dangerous Witherbloom swamp. Luckily we met a rude flying cat that totally wasn’t a dragon in disguise that led us down the “path” to some magic fruit!

Here we have Balris mourning the potential loss of his relationship with his boyfriend because he offended him (they never broke up and are our Healthiest Couple TM). Cirrus the dhamphic cleric fairy high as a kite (as usual). All while Rhoda, the clueless but genius wizard, and Iandri, the clueless but buff barbarian, are having a great time fixing their friends relationships.

I’ll admit these are kind of hard for me if only because I’m a huge perfectionist with my art, especially art that I share. But in order to not completely overwhelm myself I have to be okay with releasing “imperfect” art. Letting my work be sketch-y and sloppy and just getting my ideas down on the page. I think it’s a good exercise for me since I’m no longer getting pushed in that way from school. The last thing I want is to get burned out, especially since I have some sick ideas that I’ll need more energy for later on in the month.

Day Two: Spiders

Does your campaign have off-the-wall moments that are hard to explain? Well mine has on-the-wall! Here we see our lovable druid Balris giving our pop-icon kitsune warlock, Akari, a boost so that she can confess her feelings and make out with the ever popular npc Aurora Luna Wynterstarr (who maybe has an unhealthy obsession with Akari).

We referenced this meme so many times while this was happening that it is great to be able to finally have it rendered out, lol.

Doing Inktober again this year! This time my theme will be my D&D’s campaign of Strixhaven. Starting things off suitably tragic with my character Rhoda’s supposed “dream” of her family being normal instead of the chaotic mess they really are. Turns out when your parents rebel hard against their own repressive parents maybe it is for the best because no one is happy here! But hey atleast her dad isn’t a werewolf. Or dead.

Did I absolutely design a new uniform for if she had followed the family line and went to Silverquill instead of Witherbloom? Of course!
