June 15th 2025
Pool time at my MOH ^^ didn't do enough steps today. My sister and her husband were in town and stopped by for lunch. I slept very badlyand had headaches all day ,_,
After the pool, husband and baby went on a walk, I stayed home to calm down. Then with some encouragement from hubby I did my 100 jumps with rope 🪢^^ felt so good after it. Took a shower and ready for bed after nursing the baby to sleep

June 14th 2025
117,35 kg, exactly 5 and a half months post partum. Conceived with 106 .. and got it all back and more. Feeling mostly like shit because of it.
It's very scary to be almost 40 kg away from your goal, and yet I'm very grateful for my body for giving me my baby. I'm aware that with ulcerative colitis and the fact that it was a ascarry pregnancy.. also I'm still nursing and am not allowed to follow some strict diet and my appetite is high.. but damn it's playing with my head.
look amazing to myself but not being able to do some stuff with my body, getting windy fast .. I'm not really feeling well in it, and kind of very fast my body became a stranger to me. And especially with my baby I wanna be stronger and more fit for her. I wanna be able to run after her and not almost die getting out of breath
Started rope jumping to 100, everyday after our daily family walk. Let's see how consistent I'll be.

April 27th 2025
9.6 K steps, finished with 10.4 K. Didn't walk for a while now. Baby is still very small, eats more frequently because she has to drink antibiotics.. whole ordeal.. but slowly just like this spring I'm getting back at it. Or as my username says,
I'm starting over. For me. For my daughter.
I want to be able to run with her, I want her to have a healthy mom. Losing weight is just a bonus to getting stronger and healthier
*just a weight note. I conceived with 106kg, during pregnancy I've gained 10kg (116 in total)
I gave birth at the end of 2024, and today I weigh 113.4 kg .. considering that my recovery took more than 3 months, and I had an ulcerative colitis flare up and then a better period where food stuck to me again.. I'm pretty ok with what I'm dealing with.

My baby is already 3 months old ^^
Thinking about my overall health and it isn't well.. with the start of April and the official start of Spring and warmer times I vow to myself:
1. Go for a walk every day
2. 2x per day do the exercises for my postpartum back pain
3. Continue EMDR therapy
4. Go out of my comfort zone (e.g. pottery class even if my friends fall out and decide not to go, go for walks even alone with baby)
5. Manage my screen time - 4h tops on phone - (don't judge that will be amazing for me already)
6. More hobbies (arts and crafts)
7. Start plant and flower pressing
8. Be gentle with myself, have patience and not aim for perfection
9. Daily medicine!!! (ulcerative colitis)

No chocolate ✅
Coffee: black w sugar, sandwiches, gluten free cornflakes, oatmeal with chia and flax seeds (today's wild spread of meals for a breastfeeding mom).. plenty of water. Did half of ceragem program tomorrow cutting it from 2 to 1 min per position.. too hot for me
Have to have more fruit and more cooked meals! today I couldnt eat the cooked meal cause it was kale stew. I had it yesterday and now I'm gassy as heck and you really should eat brassicaceae family veggies whilst breastfeeding so cutting it out..
Baby is great. She is giggling, sounds like she is saying the letters A, U and surprisingly R. amazing. Her aunt P came by this morning and held her, and her grandma's S and A. Dad came home at 3 and saved us all. My back still aches and am tired and sleepy with a huge headache

Feb 14th 2025.
Had an appointment with my baby today at noon. Both of her's grandpa's helped me.
I had no time at all in the morning to eat or do anything for me cause I was alone with her..
After the appointment I was hungry like a wolf. It was snowing and there was no sign of sunshine and I couldn't take it.. I ordered McDonald's
Royal cheese McMenu with ice tea and sour cream sauce with fries :/
In my country you can't modify your order so the burger came with onions..
As a breastfeeding mom I shouldn't eat onion cause it can change the taste of the milk that isn't really appetizing to a baby.. and exactly that happened ,_,
My baby was eating and suddenly while eating she was making faces and started crying and ugh.. worst feeling ever. Usually eating soothes babies ,_, I felt like the worst mom ever 😭
I will try my best from now on not to eat anything that would do that to my baby

When someone asks us why we had a child at 27 and 30. My body was ready even if our future house isn't, even if I didn't find a perfect job yet, even if a thousand stuff isn't aligned yet.
We were ready because we'll never be ready. We listened to my body and took advantage of my current health and were successful and had a beautiful baby girl

Breakfast sandwiches with butter, ham, boiled eggs and mayo light .. followed by my meds (4g mesalasine for my ulcerative colitis and prenatal vitamins)
Brunch homemade chicken soup with lots of veggies
Lunch stew with macaroni 🍲
Couldn't resist a chocolate donut 🍩 for a snack (got it this morning from my mother in law she didn't know I'm trying not to eat chocolate 😅) also ate half of an apple 🍎
I drank tea for nursing moms and I think that's it for today
Nursed 10 times today 😅 so that also took a toll. But feeling blessed I can provide food for our little one ^^
