Help make Gypsy season 2 happen!
Gypsy is a stellar new Netflix show featuring two wlw (played by Naomi Watts 😍 and Sophie Cookson 😍) whose chemistry is off the charts, they’re still into each other in the end and they don’t die! As you can probably see, this is not a mainstream show so many fans are afraid it won’t be renewed for season 2. This is why we must get as many people as possible to watch Gypsy on Netflix! Watch it HERE. If you don’t have Netflix you can sign up for a free month’s trial. Please reblog this, we need to show Netflix we love the show so there will be season 2 and hopefully more! Also the series creator Lisa Rubin is a wlw herself so let’s support her the best we can!

Dear crew,
I made another ridiculous movie poster, call it the sequel to ‘my big fat greek conspiracy’. Nothing I make can be as ridiculous as some of the actual trash I have read about Gillian and Peter this week. SAIL on, HMS Gilligan, and hang onto your turtle shorts
Anonymous shipmate, you are quickly becoming one of our favorite sailors aboard this ship. Thank you for this beautiful submission (and thank you for messaging us to check our inbox so that we don’t accidentally ignore it for a month this time!)
There ain’t no party like a GILLIGAN party, indeed!

It is incredibly sad to me that:
A woman’s body is considered inherently indecent and improper.
There seems to be trouble making the distinction between a woman’s choice to expose her own body and the fact that this choice doesn’t give a n y o n e the right to exploit or film it.
The paparazzi isn’t blamed for violating her in an intimate moment – she is blamed for having an intimate moment.

If you think those paparazzi photos are going to “ruin Gillian Anderson’s image” then you are NOT a feminist, why the hell should photos taken without her consent of her relaxing with her boyfriend not doing anything wrong ruin her image? Because of her body? Why should pictures of a womans body ruin her image? What the hell are you talking about? Let her LIVE

gay men can call women gorgeous and beautiful and no one bats an eye. but a lesbian says she thinks a man is nice to look at and suddenly every one is picking apart her identity because our society is dead set on women investing their time and energy in men.
people will comb through for any shred of evidence that a woman might be attracted to men and use that against her, to prove that desiring men in an innate part of her.
your identity is your business. who you want to be with, what feels right to you is your business. you get to decide what is important to you and what parts of your experience you want to keep and what you want to leave behind.
you can be a lesbian if you want to.

I’ve seen people blog ‘yeah the pictures suck but that’s celebrity life in the 21st century’.
No. The Sun took pictures of a woman’s breasts and ass. Zoomed in on it. Made a headline out of it. WITHOUT HER CONSENT.
Don’t tell yourself that this is normal. It’s not NORMAL that a newspaper invades a woman’s privacy like that, and then SHAMES her for her own body. This has absolutely nothing to do with fame, only with misogyny. And no woman should have to deal with that kind of shit.
Guess what? Feminism isn’t always fun and it certainly isn’t easy. Feminism means calling out systems and people. Even systems that we think are so ingrained in our society that they have become normal. Don’t tell yourself this is normal. Don’t normalise misogyny like that.
