how is it possible to reunite so many good music factors in only 5 minutes???

I was slapped in the face by this track of metronomy's 5th album "Summer 08" called "Mick Slow". You have everything in it : a deep bassline, a beautiful synth melody, some lyrics and voices that change of rythm along the song, you could dance a slow on it but not a boring one, more of a passionate one.

hello, I realized that I haven't introduced myself yet on tumblr and after many posts, I think it could be interesting for you and for me as well to know more abt myself :

-my name is Fanny, I am french so my name does not mean what it means in the UK or in USA

-I am currently 18 y old

-I am a student at the university of Rennes 2, in France, in applied languages, english and german but I am willing to quit because that was already my plan B and I actually want to go in performing art as I love dance and attend to shows on stage

-I am fond of contemporary dance and a bit of classical too, music, collecting vinyls, cds and dvds, doing collage artwork and gel plate printing, I also like learning languages

-As I like learning languages, I learned how to read russian and ukrainian cyrillic alphabet, kinda useless in France but I feel better knowing how to read it... (even though I don't understand...)

-I really want to know how to play an instrument, especially harp, percussions, cello... the only thing I can play is "under the moonlight" on piano, kalimba, flute and pan flute, playing the synth solo of "Love Illumination" on a keyboard and doing the rythm of a song from the french singer and tennisman Yannick Noah on a djembe...

-My favourite musicians/groups are : Chapelier Fou, Franz Ferdinand, Metronomy, NZCA Lines, Benjamin Ingrosso, Les Rita Mitsouko and I also listen to Aphex Twin, Daft Punk, Blondie and One Direction. If you have some music recommandation you want to share, don't hesitate, I'm open to it.

-My favourite dishes/desserts/drinks are : gyozas, chicken peanut curry that my mother makes, pizza of course, pasta with tomato sauce and swedish meatballs, any kind of salmon or trout except gravlax, shredded carrots and cream cheese sandwich, tiramisu, crepes, brookie, chopped mangoes, strawberries with a lot of whipped cream, cola, fresh dairy milk, hazelnut milk, water ofc, hot chocolate (sometimes with a ton of marsmallows or whipped cream), orange juice...

-My favourite shows/movies are : The Big Bang Theory, Aggretsuko, La La Land, Drive, The dead poets society, Total Drama, Gravity Falls, The King and the Mokingbird, the hunger games movies, Of men and gods, Lou! journal infime...

well well well...

it was over the top. felt very emotional during this concert. I haven't saw this movie since i was 8 I think, I am now 18 and it was a real pleasure to rediscover this movie, now I can better understand the jokes and question myself (is it English ????) about some topics regarding the movie. but most of all, the music... I didn't expected much abt it because I already knew this was going to please me a lot but not at this point... I was tearing a lot as soon as they entered the stage and the musical atmosphere made it worse but it was for sure the best tears in my entire life so far. As soon as I got home after, I cried again because a lot of emotions flowed in my mind, positive emotions only with however a bit of sadness of the end...

very very very excited today because I get to see chapelier fou at a cinema concert?? don't know if we can say that in English but in french we say ciné concert. it's at 14.30pm, but before that, I have 3 hours of class, including 1 hour of german grammar, which is my least favourite subject at the uni, but it’s only an hour so f. off.

I am so excited that I got up at 6am, very strange for me who is more of a night owl than a morning bird
