2023.12.03 NOAH・横浜武道館　スペシャルタッグマッチを楽しみに描いたファンアート

プロレスのファンアートを描く時は、団体公式や選手が発信する情報に敬意を持って…構図のテーマやカラーリングをつくってます。

あとは、自分がファンとして持つ試合への思いや夢なども少々(かなり)加えて…。

2023.12.03 COMITIA146にサークル参加しましたレポ

今回、初参加となる東京会場。

学生時代は地方コミティアに参加していましたが、その時からしばらく参加して��なかったため

久々に行った原稿作業で苦しみました。あの頃も、そんなだった気がする。

時を経て、学ばないオイラ。

当日のお品書きは、A5サイズのイラスト本とアクキーやステッカー。

去年のクリスマス時期に作ったトナカイのオリキャラで、いつか本を作りたいなと考えてたので…今回実現できて良かったです。

フルカラーの作業は大変でしたが、予めキャラシートや世界観を決めていたのでうまい感じにラフから清書まで進むことができました。

スペースの説明はこんな感じで、すっげぇ簡素な見た目。

周りの方々がポスターや棚など設置しているのを見て、「一つのテーマパークみたいで素敵過ぎる��と感動しました。

Twitter a.k.a X で、コミティアの設営風景を写真で見るのが好きです。

でも実際に、自分がやるとなると工夫づくりの大切さに気づきましたね…。

スペースへは、前から自分が参加予定だと知ってくださってたXのフォロワーさんが数名来てくださり本当に嬉しかったです。

お絵かきやものづくりは好きですが、自分の作品に対して良い評価付けることが不得意なため

「たのしみにしてました！」「がんばってください！」「かわいいです！」など、優しいお言葉をいただけたおかげで、今日まで準備し続けてきて良かったと実感しました。

また、お菓子やカイロ、手作りの贈り物など思いやりのこもった差し入れまでいただき、感謝してもしきれません。

この日感じた嬉しい気持ちは、これからも大切にしていきます。

Xや見本誌を見て本をお買い求めいただいた方も、思っていたら以上に多く有り難かったです。

ここで…反省点が2つあります。(本当はもっとあるはず)

①名刺を作っていなかった

→なぜかというと…忘れていたからです。

あと、これといった連絡先もなかったため「今回はいいかな😅」と身勝手なジャッジをしてしまいました。

オイラへ、お前は良くても…来てくださった方には良くなかったんだからな！

※次回はちゃんと持っていきます。

②ポストカードを出さなかった

→イラスト本をメインにしたかったため、紙物はこちらのみと決めていました。

①につづき…よくないですね！

スペースに興味を持ってお越しいただけるよう、ふと立ち止まってもらえるよう…お相手の需要を意識してなかったオイラ。

結果としては、キャラクターを気に入ってお手に取ってくださる方々が多く嬉しかったですが、

今度からは、自分が作りたいもの=だれかが欲しくなるもの　のバランスを意識したいです。

ともかく、初めての東京コミティアはすごく楽しかったです。

自身も気になる作品を見つけて購入したり、作者の方々と小話を楽しむことができました。

次は来年、日程や場所に都合がいい機会があれば参加しようと思ってます。

・大好きなデカレンジャーの撮影ロケ地『夢の大橋』でボスショット。

・↑をやってたら朝食ビュッフェ会場が満席になってしまったので、自室にテイクアウトしたもの。便利でありがたいです…。

WEEK 02: Light & Shadow

I studied about the effect of light on objects and tried to find some tips for shaping three-dimensional object.

I need to position the light for my drawing to know the right direction of light/shadow because I always misunderstand it😓

Also, finding my favorite atmosphere from some pictures that I took before was very interesting for me to make color palettes for some situations; for example, komorebi, seasides, rooms and so on.

G1 CLIMAX 33 ~A BLOCK~

I got excited that Kaito Kiyomiya who is a fantastic pro-wrestler in NOAH took the ring of NJPW with his ambitious to revenge for Kazuchika Okada.

I was rooting for his big challenge as one of NOAH fans as well as I am a NJPW fan, so I kept drawing these fanarts during the qualifying round.

Unfortunately, he didn’t seize the chance to stand in front of Okada, but I believe that he made a lot of new fans in the hottest league.

📝Day 01📝

I drew some portraits of The Bear’s casts to find good shapes that characterize each person.

By the way, this TV show made me motivated to try something I’m stuck with…!

📝Day 02📝

I like to walk through a shopping arcade and look around its construction.

So, I sketched my favorite Japanese arcades to find the similarities.

📝Day 03📝

I watched some videos of wild animals by National Geographic and tried to sketch their shapes and lines that emphasize each specie.

📝Day 04📝

It was very difficult for me to think of shaping some elements, but I think that this was a good practice to come up with a simple idea.

Plus, I redesigned my OCs’ face in circle, triangle and square to relate to their personalities. I hope they will be very human more than the old designs…
