Theory Time: Blitz earns his wings (literally)
I can definitely see Blitz earning his wings in a moment of significant personal growth, similar to how Vaggie’s transformation happened during Out for Love. However, given Blitz’s personality and the nature of Helluva Boss, it likely wouldn’t happen in a grand, dramatic musical number. Instead, it would be tied to something deeply personal—his self-worth or achieving something he never thought possible.
One of the most compelling ideas is that Blitz’s wings could manifest as a symbol of him finally committing to a relationship and staying in it. We’ve seen time and time again that Blitz struggles with intimacy and trust, often sabotaging his connections before they can get too deep. The Full Moon episode highlighted this pattern with Stolas, and even his past with Verosika and Fizz shows how much he fears getting hurt or abandoned. If he were to finally break that cycle and allow himself to be truly vulnerable—whether by fully committing to Stolas or even learning to love himself—it could be a moment worthy of transformation.
Speaking from experience, loving yourself is infinitely harder than just telling someone you care about them. Actions mean more than words, and Blitz has a habit of using his bravado, sarcasm, quips, and volatility as a shield. While he genuinely loves those within the walls of I.M.P., he struggles to extend that love beyond his closest circle, with rare exceptions like Fizz, Asmodeus, and Bee. If earning his wings was tied to proving—both to himself and others—that he can overcome those fears, it would be a powerful narrative moment.
Tumblr media
What makes me consider this theory is the object on Loona’s—now Stolas’s—desk. It looks like an eye with wings on the sides and two cobras. I could be mistaken, and it might just be a random decorative piece or something he needed for a receptionist’s desk without deeper meaning. However, it’s still interesting to think about, especially considering how, before the Full Moon episode, we were all wondering why Blitz had a cross on his gloves—only for it to later be revealed as a setup for the Asmodean Crystal in Season 2.
If Blitz were to gain wings, I think it would be fitting for him to receive them sometime around mid-Season 3 or at the season’s end. I can easily imagine him making a joke about it, excitedly saying something like, “I’m having a Twilight moment.” More than that, I think it would be incredibly useful, considering his boyfriend (cuz in S3 they’re definitely gonna be official at some point during the season) is 11 feet tall. Constantly climbing Stolas would be exhausting, and while I find both scenarios adorable, at least with wings, Blitz would have the option to alternate between climbing and flying.

Just to clarify—if it happens in S3 (which I think it will, since Brandon Rogers kinda hinted at it), this would be the first time Stolas and Blitz are connected and intimate during sex. Their past relationship was transactional and centred around sex, so technically, it wouldn’t be their first time in that sense
but at the same time, it kind of is, because the emotional weight behind it would be completely different. It’s a whole new dynamic for them—one that moves beyond lust or convenience and actually means something. So yeah, it’s not their first time in a physical sense, but in terms of what it represents? It’s a pretty big first!
my brain will not stop thinking about this question so I want to ask you all this very important question (not)
I suppose another way of phrasing this question is: When will they have sex for the first time in season 3?

I might have a few theories about this image could be about:
King of the Ars Goetia VS Deadly Sin:
1. I think if King Paimon were to intervene and lift Stolas’s banishment, it would significantly shift the dynamics between Stolas and Blitz just when they had begun to understand each other on a more equal footing. If Paimon is positioned above Satan in the hierarchy, he could have enough influence to override Satan’s decree, but not without ensuring Stolas “learns his lesson” first. This could mean that Paimon allows his son to experience the full weight of being cast out before eventually reinstating his status and perhaps as a way to remind Stolas that siding with commoners— not to mention leaving his daughter behind by force— has consequences.
I theorize that if Stolas were to be reinstated, his and Blitz’s statuses would shift yet again—just when they had finally begun to see each other as equals. Stolas has only just started to unlearn his aristocratic mindset, understanding what it means to truly meet Blitz on his level rather than treating him as someone beneath him. The reinstatement would upend that progress, not out of malice, but through circumstance. Blitz wouldn’t necessarily resent Stolas for it, but I imagine it would leave him heartbroken. Having allowed himself to form a semi-committed relationship, he might feel as though everything they built was on borrowed time—another thing slipping through his fingers just when he was starting to believe in it.
This could make for an incredibly angsty moment in one the episodes, particularly as they grapple with the uncertainty of their dynamic. Would Stolas, now back in a position of power, still treat Blitz as an equal? Would Blitz begin to withdraw, fearing that no matter how close they get, there will always be a gap between them? I could see Blitz, consciously or not, starting to self-sabotage—pulling away before Stolas has the chance to do it first, convinced that history is about to repeat itself.
At the same time, there’s an underlying apprehension about how their social standing will affect their relationship going forward. Blitz has always had a complicated relationship with power dynamics, and if Stolas is once again a prince, there’s the question of whether he would still be able to choose Blitz in the way he did when he had nothing to lose. However, I believe there could be a hidden factor that Blitz isn’t yet aware of: the possibility that Stolas, despite regaining his title, will never quite return to the person he used to be.
After experiencing what it was like to live as a “commoner”—a position he, subconsciously, once looked down on—Stolas may find himself forever changed. I theorize that his personality would be far more humble than before, shaped by the struggle and vulnerability he endured while stripped of his status. Even if he is reinstated, he would no longer approach power in the same way, perhaps even feeling alienated from the aristocracy that once defined his identity. If that were the case, I could see Stolas making a conscious effort to prove to Blitz that nothing has changed between them, that power and title mean little compared to what they’ve built together.
The question then becomes: would Blitz allow himself to believe that? Or would the mere possibility of history repeating itself be enough to push him away?
Three’s A Crowd:
2. I have a theory that if Loona’s biological parents were to make an appearance in Helluva Boss, it would be a deeply emotional and potentially devastating moment—especially for Blitz. Their relationship has come such a long way, (after two seasons) with Loona finally calling him “Dad” consistently, a milestone that clearly means everything to him. But with Blitz’s self-sabotaging tendencies still unresolved, I can see him panicking the moment her biological parents return, convinced that she will no doubt choose them over him.
I think Blitz would immediately spiral into worst-case scenarios. In his mind, he would start questioning everything—was he ever really her father, or was he just someone she settled for because she had no one else? Would she leave him behind the second she had the chance at a “real” family? And even worse, if she does go, what does that say about him? That he was never enough? That, no matter how hard he tries, everyone he loves will eventually walk away?
I wonder if Helluva Boss could explore a narrative where Blitz loses Loona in a way that mirrors Stolas losing Octavia. While the circumstances would be different, the emotional core could be the same: a father-daughter relationship fractured, leading to the daughter walking away.
I think this could be an interesting thematic choice, especially considering how Blitz and Stolas have both struggled with their roles as fathers. Stolas’s loss of Octavia was largely due to his lack emotional fulfilment and the chaos of his personal life, leading her to feel alienated from him. If Loona were to leave Blitz, I imagine it wouldn’t be for quite the same reasons—perhaps it would stem from an opportunity to reconnect with her biological parents.
Battle of Parents:
3. I think Loona moving out of the apartment — especially after 5 years since being adopted — would be a major angsty shift for both her and Blitz, especially considering their history. If this were to happen, I imagine she wouldn’t be doing it out of resentment but rather a need for independence. She might say something like, “I love you, Dad, but the place is getting too cramped. You and Stolas deserve your own space, and I need to figure out how to stand on my own two feet.” That alone would hit Blitz hard—not because he wouldn’t understand, but because it would confirm one of his biggest fears: that the people he loves always end up leaving him.
From a theoretical standpoint, I think this would be a pivotal moment for Blitz’s self-sabotaging tendencies. If Loona moving out was framed as a healthy, necessary step in her life, Blitz might still twist it into a personal failure. I could see him telling himself that he was too overbearing, that he wasn’t a good enough dad, or even that Loona just wanted to get away from him. Given how much he struggles with abandonment issues, he might lash out in some way—whether that’s picking a fight with Stolas, making some reckless business decisions, or isolating himself under the guise of not caring.
At the same time, I think this could be a turning point for Loona’s character. She’s always had this defensive, closed-off personality, but moving out would be a sign of real growth. If she’s taking this step, it means she’s not just relying on Blitz’s protection anymore—she’s choosing to stand on her own, despite her own fears of vulnerability. I imagine this could create tension between her and Blitz, not because she doesn’t love him, but because he might struggle to accept that she doesn’t need him in the same way anymore.
And then there’s Stolas. If I were to theorize about his role in all of this, I think he would be caught between wanting to comfort Blitz and wanting to respect Loona’s decision. He knows what it’s like to have a complicated parental relationship, and I imagine he would try to reassure Blitz that this is just part of Loona growing up—not a sign that she’s abandoning him. Whether or not Blitz listens to him is another story.
Overall, I think this scenario could be a catalyst for a lot of character development. Loona would be proving to herself that she can handle life on her own, while Blitz would be forced to confront the fact that loving someone doesn’t mean holding onto them forever. It could either deepen his self-destructive tendencies or push him toward genuine emotional growth—depending on how he processes it.
A Fork in the Road:
4. I believe Stolas will come to a pivotal moment in his journey, a fork in the road where he must choose between two paths, both carrying immense personal consequences. Paimon will likely present him with a choice: remain a commoner and finally live a free, unburdened life with Blitz, or accept early reinstatement and regain access to his daughter, Octavia. I think this decision will serve as the emotional climax of the season, potentially leading into Season 4, which may not arrive until 2027 or later.
I feel that the most heartbreaking part of this scenario isn’t just the choice itself, but the way it unfolds. I can see Blitz, despite his own feelings, encouraging Stolas to take back his position for Octavia’s sake. I think he would insist that Stolas shouldn’t let him be the reason that he remains separated from his daughter. I imagine Blitz masking his own emotions, acting as if he’s indifferent, even though deep down, it’s tearing him apart. I think this would add another layer of angst, the kind of painful, gut-wrenching moment that Vivienne thrives on in her storytelling.
I believe this choice will solidify the tragedy of their relationship—Stolas being forced to choose between the love he’s finally found and the daughter he refuses to abandon. I imagine this moment will be framed as bittersweet, with both of them knowing what they want but also understanding what they must do. I think this decision, no matter which path Stolas chooses, will leave a lasting impact on both of them, reshaping their dynamic going forward.
Termination, Surrogacy, or Miscarriage:
6. If Millie decides to continue the pregnancy, there is a strong possibility that she will experience a miscarriage, which would be the worst-case scenario. However, if she chooses not to proceed, she may opt for termination instead. Both outcomes carry significant emotional weight, creating a deeply personal and potentially controversial situation. While some may have strong opinions on either choice, the decision ultimately belongs to Millie. As the one who would endure the physical and emotional toll of carrying a pregnancy for nine months, she has the right to make the choice that is best for her.
From my perspective, this situation presents an opportunity for an emotionally complex character arc—one that explores themes of bodily autonomy, personal identity, and societal expectations. I personally hope to see an arc where Millie realizes she doesn’t need to have a baby to “complete” her marriage with Moxxie. Many couples choose to remain child-free and still lead fulfilling, deeply loving partnerships. In fact, studies have shown that childless couples often report higher levels of life satisfaction, challenging the assumption that parenthood is necessary for happiness or a successful marriage.
This could be a powerful moment of self-discovery for Millie, allowing her to redefine what fulfillment looks like in her relationship. Perhaps she initially struggles with external pressure or internalized beliefs about what a “perfect” marriage should be. Over time, she could come to see that her love with Moxxie is already whole and doesn’t need a child to validate it. Such an arc could add depth to her character, highlighting how societal norms can shape personal decisions, and ultimately reaffirming her autonomy in making the choice that aligns with her own happiness.
To be honest, the only couple I would truly love to see having a child is Stolas and Blitz, perhaps later down the track—maybe sometime in Season 4. Who knows? Maybe, just maybe, Millie could act as a surrogate for them. If she either lost her own pregnancy in Season 3 or made the difficult decision to terminate it, carrying a child for Stolas and Blitz could be a transformative experience for her. It might even lead her to realize, “I definitely want one.”
I personally believe that Millie’s struggle isn’t actually about Moxxie supposedly cheating on her, but rather about the internal conflict she faces due to her upbringing. Coming from a large family—one that may be deeply traditional or even religious—it’s likely that she was raised in an environment where abortion was viewed as unacceptable. If that’s the case, the real issue she’s dealing with isn’t just grief of what to do with the baby but also the weight of societal and familial expectations. If she terminates the pregnancy, she might grapple with feelings of guilt, shame, or even a crisis of faith because she’s been conditioned to believe that motherhood is her ultimate purpose.
Seeing her navigate these emotions could make for a compelling arc—one where she learns to separate her personal desires from the expectations imposed on her by her upbringing. If she later agrees to be a surrogate for Stolitz, it could serve as a pivotal moment in her journey, allowing her to embrace the idea of parenthood on her terms rather than out of obligation. This kind of development would add depth to her character, shifting the focus away from relationship drama and toward a more introspective exploration of identity, choice, and self-acceptance.
7. I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do:
Would a proposal between Stolas and Blitz really be so “out of the box” considering everything that has happened between them? When you break it down, it actually makes a lot of sense. Stolas has loved Blitz since childhood—an innocent, pure kind of love that never had the chance to bloom. Then, decades passed without contact, and when they did reunite, their relationship was complicated by power dynamics, emotional wounds, and one-sidedness. It wasn’t until Season 2 that Blitz started reciprocating in a way that wasn’t just lust or obligation. Given that trajectory, a proposal wouldn’t be far-fetched at all; in fact, it might be the natural culmination of everything they’ve been through.
Stolas is, by nature, a hopeless romantic. Everything about him—from his flowery way of speaking to his grand gestures—screams someone who yearns for love the way it’s written in poetry and fairy tales. If anything, a dramatic, heartfelt proposal would be completely in character for him. He’s the type of demon who would orchestrate something straight out of a movie: sentimental, deeply personal, and undeniably over the top. That’s why, looking back, his line in The Full Moon—“I want you to stay with me”—feels like foreshadowing. It wasn’t just a plea for Blitz to sleep beside him that night; it was a quiet confession of what he truly wanted: for Blitz to stay in his life, permanently.
And while Stolas isn’t necessarily the type to rush into relationships under normal circumstances, this isn’t a normal circumstance. He has only ever truly loved one person—Blitz. He may have married Stella, but that was never love, quite the opposite actually given her cruelty towards him, but it was mainly to procreate an heir for the Goetia and was basically bound by duty. His romantic feelings have always belonged to one person, and now that those feelings are finally, finally being returned, why would he hesitate? If anything, the years of waiting, longing, and suffering would only make him more certain that he doesn’t want to waste any more time.
8. Emotional Damage:
I don’t believe Stolas and Blitz will “break up” again, per se, but I do think their relationship will hit another emotional crossroads. If Blitz reaches a point in his healing process where he openly expresses, “I want to be with you,” I can see a 99.9% chance that, this time, Stolas won’t be ready to take that next step.
The key difference here is that the hesitation wouldn’t stem from fear of rejection or uncertainty about Blitz’s feelings—it would come from Stolas himself. The lingering guilt over what Octavia said to him about constantly choosing Blitz over her is something that can’t simply be undone with encouraging words or physical intimacy. No matter how much he wants this relationship, that guilt could weigh heavily on him, making him feel undeserving of happiness with Blitz until he can reconcile his past mistakes as a father.
I think in this scenario, instead of eagerly jumping at the chance to solidify their relationship, Stolas would respond with something like, “I do want this with you, but right now, I’m not emotionally or mentally ready.” This creates an almost role-reversal from Season 1—where Stolas was the one pushing for something deeper, and Blitz kept his walls up—but it wouldn’t be an exact mirror. Instead, it would highlight their individual growth. Stolas, who once pursued Blitz without considering emotional consequences, would now be the one setting boundaries, while Blitz, who used to avoid emotional vulnerability, would be the one openly asking for connection.
This shift wouldn’t be about rejection but rather about timing and emotional readiness, reinforcing the idea that real love isn’t just about wanting someone—it’s about being in the right place to nurture that relationship.
9. The Big Bad Battle:
I believe there will be another major battle involving Andrealphus and Stella against Octavia and I.M.P., serving as a pivotal moment in Season 3. In many ways, the ending of “Sinsmas” felt like a preview of what’s to come, creating a deliberate parallel that foreshadows the stakes and emotional weight of this confrontation.
I think this could be the moment where, if Octavia were physically harmed—especially if she were bound by angelic rope, a call back to the “Western Energy” episode when the same thing had happened to her father—Stolas would finally step in to protect her in a way we haven’t seen before. With his magic still compromised, he wouldn’t have the ability to rely on spells, much like Octavia had protected him in season 2 finale. This would be his opportunity to prove that his love isn’t just words or empty reassurances—it’s action. Just as he was willing to risk himself for Blitz in “Mastermind”, this could be the moment where he shows that he is just as willing, if not more, to put himself in harm’s way for his daughter. I could see this being the moment when Octavia finally understands the depth of Stolas’s love for her—that he would sacrifice his own safety without hesitation for her.
(If it’s not going to be Stolas who gets seriously injured then it’ll definitely be Blitz— one of them)
At the same time, I can’t ignore the possibility that Blitz could also play a role here. I feel like Viv is deliberately building up to a deeper, familial connection between him and Octavia, something that was only briefly touched on in Season 2 (at the end). Since much of that season revolved around Blitz’s complicated relationship with Stolas, it would make sense for Season 3 to shift the focus onto him forming a bond with Stolas’s daughter. If Octavia were in danger, I could see Blitz stepping in instinctively, reinforcing that growing connection between them.
This moment could serve as a major emotional turning point, not just for Octavia and Stolas but also for Blitz, further intertwining their dynamics and reinforcing the core themes of love, sacrifice, and found family.
10. An Eternal Flame:
In a reversal of roles, Blitz finds himself homeless after a fire—of all things—engulfs his apartment. The irony isn’t lost on him, considering all the dangerous situations he’s been in, only for something as mundane as a fire to take everything. This disaster happens just as Stolas and Octavia have finally reconciled, which, in a way, feels almost poetic for their ever-growing family.
Blitz, ever the cynic, cracks a joke about needing a bigger place for four people instead of cramming into a one-room apartment, throwing in that Octavia is clearly becoming part of their chaotic little unit. At least now, she won’t have to worry about accidentally sharing a bed with Loona.
Alternatively, if Stolas is reinstated as prince earlier than expected, he could extend an offer for Blitz and Loona to stay with him and Octavia. With their old apartment reduced to ashes, it wouldn’t just be an act of kindness—it’d be another step toward solidifying the unconventional yet unmistakable family they’re building.
11. Alive or Dead
What if Tilla has been alive this entire time? We never actually saw her body, leaving room for the possibility that she survived the fire. Season 3 could be the perfect moment for her to reveal herself to Blitz, especially given his deep-seated guilt over believing he caused her death. This revelation would be a major emotional turning point, throwing Blitz into a whirlwind of emotions as he grapples with the truth.
There have been subtle hints about Tilla throughout the series. She was first pictured in Ozzie’s and then made a more detailed appearance in Ghostfuckers. Additionally, Blitz’s signature skull pin originates from his mother, possibly foreshadowing a larger narrative involving her. All of this could be building up to a major reveal, where she provides an accurate account of what really happened the night the fire was set.
Furthermore, this theory aligns with the overarching family themes in Helluva Boss. The show has continuously explored complex familial relationships, trauma, and reconciliation. Tilla’s return could add another layer to Blitz’s already turbulent character arc, forcing him to confront his past in a way he never expected.
12. Father/daughter duet
I’ve been thinking a lot about how Helluva Boss could conclude Season 3, especially when it comes to Stolas and Octavia’s relationship. We’ve heard Stolas sing multiple times, and now we’ve finally seen Octavia sing as well. What better way to end the season than with a father-daughter duet? Singing could be the one thing they truly have in common—when words fail them, music becomes their way of communicating.
I find it particularly interesting that in “I Will Be Okay” (Season 2), Octavia had a manifestation of Stolas reaching out to her as she sang. Could this have been foreshadowing? A subtle setup for a future duet? It makes me wonder if Vivienne Medrano has been intentionally building up to this moment all along. After all, why give Stolas 4 different songs (albeit two of them were duets with Blitz) and Octavia just one if not to eventually bring them together musically? The thought of them finally reconnecting through song is something I never considered before, but now I’d be beyond ecstatic if it happened!!!
Tumblr media
What’s even more intriguing is how this mirrors another father-daughter dynamic—Rory and Lucifer from Lucifer on Netflix. Like Octavia, Rory resented her father for “abandoning” her, leading to a breakdown in their relationship. But ultimately, they found a way to bond through music. Given how Helluva Boss leans into musical storytelling, I could absolutely see something similar happening between Stolas and Octavia.
youtube
I can picture it: Stolas singing in his haunting countertenor while Octavia takes the lower notes, much like how Stolas and Blitz once shared a soliloquy song. If done right, a duet between them could be the emotional culmination of their arc, allowing them to express all the things they’ve struggled to say even better without any more miscommunications getting in the way of their relationship of the whole “he/she said” thing happening
youtube
I honestly think Octavia and Stolas’s duet would look something like this:
[Intro]
(Piano and strings, melancholic)
Soft shadows stretch across the walls,
Memories whisper, but no one calls.
[Verse 1] (Octavia’s voice, soft but growing in intensity)
You told me stories under silver light,
Promised the stars would hold me tight.
But now the night feels cold and hollow,
Your voice is gone, just echoes follow.
[Pre-Chorus] (Building tension, drums kicking in)
You say you care, you say you tried,
But every tear, I cried alone inside.
What’s love if all it leaves is scars?
What’s a father if he’s worlds apart?
[Chorus] (Powerful, orchestral swells, belted notes)
Do you hear me now? Do you feel my pain?
Every word I screamed just washed away in rain.
I was reaching out, but you were chasing flames,
Now I’m just a shadow left behind your name.
[Instrumental Break] (Guitar solo, swelling strings)
[Verse 2] (Stolas’ voice, remorseful, lower tone)
I see the weight I placed on you,
The shattered past you stumbled through.
I built a love that fell apart,
And left you trapped inside the dark.
[Pre-Chorus] (Both voices overlapping, desperate harmonies)
I should have seen, I should have stayed,
But I lost you in the mess I made.
You were always more than words could say,
And I let you slip away

[Chorus] (Duet, Octavia’s anger, Stolas’ sorrow, voices clashing then blending)
Do you hear me now? Do you feel my pain?
Every word I screamed just washed away in rain.
I was reaching out, but you were chasing flames,
Now I’m just a shadow left behind your name.
[Bridge] (Quiet, soft strings, heart-wrenching harmonies)
(Octavia) I just wanted you to listen

(Stolas) I never meant to go

(Octavia) But now I don’t know if I can

(Both) Let this love heal or let it go

[Outro] (Piano fading, voices echoing in the silence)
(Octavia, whispered) Do you hear me now
?
(Stolas, fading) I hear you now

[End]
It's kinda concerning just how much I continue to think about this post Brandon made about helluva boss season 3 and what the hell it could possibly mean even to this day, it's been months since this post went out and it's still there in the back of my brain somewhere, and honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way.

Blitz: Hey Stols if let’s say we hypothetically break up just so me a favour and don’t date an incubi.”
Stolas: “This is about Better Than Blitzo guy isn’t it?”
Blitz: No! No. Just
they care more about the sex than the relationship itself so I’m just givin' you a heads up.”
Stolas: “So what you speak from personal experience? What did your ex do that was so bad? Rape you?”
Blitz

Stolas:

5 minutes later

Stolas: Oh
you are serious. Oh my sweet love.” He cradles Blitz against his chest who purrs contentedly. “I’m so sorry that had happened to you.”

Tightrope - Michelle Williams
Some people long for a life that is simple and planned
Tied with a ribbon
Some people won't sail the sea 'cause they're safer on land
To follow what's written
But I'd follow you to the great unknown
Off to a world we call our own
Tumblr media
Hand in my hand and we promised to never let go
We're walking the tightrope
High in the sky
We can see the whole world down below
We're walking the tightrope
Never sure, never know how far we could fall
But it's all an adventure
That comes with a breathtaking view
Walking the tightrope

With you, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh
With you, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh
With you
Mountains and valleys, and all that will come in between
Desert and ocean
You pulled me in and together we're lost in a dream
Always in motion
So I risk it all just to be with you
And I risk it all for this life we choose
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hand in my hand and you promised to never let go
We're walking the tightrope
High in the sky
We can see the whole world down below
We're walking the tightrope
Never sure, will you catch me if I should fall?
Well, it's all an adventure
That comes with a breathtaking view

Theory Time: Why I think Blitz was raped
I’ve recently started warming up to Verosika a bit more, particularly after rewatching Apology Tour. In that episode, she showed moments of decency toward Blitz—at least more than she typically does. However, as I began exploring her character more through RP and fanfiction, I found myself digging into her abilities, specifically her “sexual inducement.” What I discovered gave me pause. Legally speaking, this kind of power could easily be classified as a form of sexual assault, which honestly caught me off guard. It’s especially ironic since I remember a former RP partner of mine arguing that Verosika hadn’t sexually assaulted Moxxie in Spring Broken. But when I take a closer look at how that enchantment works, I think there’s a strong case for reevaluating that perspective.
Reflecting on Verosika and Blitz’s tumultuous history, I can’t help but feel I may have overlooked something important. The more I think about it, the more convinced I am that Verosika may have crossed serious boundaries during their relationship—possibly even sexually assaulting Blitz, either directly or through her entourage. It’s an uncomfortable possibility, but one that feels increasingly plausible. I’d hinted at this idea before in my “Theory Time: The Break-Up,” but now I feel more confident in it. Blitz’s reactions to Verosika make a lot more sense when viewed through this lens.
His deep-seated disdain for succubi and incubi, his hyper-awareness of consent, and the way he fiercely protects his employees—especially when someone might overstep their boundaries—all point toward deeper trauma. For example, in Mastermind, Blitz’s insistence on clear, explicit consent stands out, especially given his otherwise chaotic, reckless behavior in other areas of his life. If Verosika, or her posse, had violated that boundary in the past, it would explain why he’s so guarded about it now.
This could also shed new light on his dramatic breakup with Verosika. It wasn’t just another failed relationship. If Blitz felt trapped or betrayed on such a fundamental level, his bitter resentment toward her—and even toward other demons with similar powers—becomes far more understandable. For me, this theory connects a lot of dots I hadn’t fully considered before. It adds depth to both characters and reframes some of their most tense confrontations in a much darker, but also more meaningful, way.
In the episode “Ghostfuckers,” there’s a subtle but significant moment when Rolando licks Blitz’s neck to gain access to his deepest insecurities. Initially, Blitz’s expression is one of shock and alarm—not merely from the invasion of his personal space but also from the fear that Rolando might exploit painful memories from his past. However, there’s an eerie undertone to his reaction. Rather than appearing entirely caught off guard or overwhelmed by trauma, Blitz’s demeanor hints at someone who might have endured similar violations before.

Tumblr media
This reaction stands in stark contrast to how Blitz responds when Stolas touches his neck. In those moments, there’s no immediate sense of fear or defensiveness, even though Blitz often tries to mask his vulnerability with sarcasm or aggression. Instead, there’s an intimacy in the way Stolas’s fingers trace that area—like it’s a sweet spot for Blitz, one he doesn’t guard with the same intensity. It’s subtle but telling of how differently Blitz perceives touch depending on the intent behind it. With Stolas, despite the complicated nature of their relationship, there’s a sense of trust or perhaps even comfort emerging, however reluctantly on Blitz’s part. It’s as if Stolas has found a rare space where Blitz allows a moment of tenderness to exist without being immediately tainted by past trauma.
This nuanced difference in reactions paints a deeper picture of Blitz’s character, revealing both the scars he carries and the small openings for healing he cautiously guards. It also further underscores how consent, trust, and intention shape Blitz’s emotional walls and the rare cracks that appear in them.
In the “Exes and Ohs” episode, I believe Blitz yelling at Chaz to “CHILL THE FUCK OUT!” wasn’t solely because Chaz was being rough or because Blitz wasn’t physically ready. While Blitz has shown that he’s open to some aspects of BDSM and kink, there’s a deeper layer to that moment. I think his outburst was triggered by past trauma, potentially tied to his sexual assault by Verosika and/or her entourage.
Blitz’s reaction wasn’t just one of discomfort—it was almost instinctual, a survival response rooted in fear and pain. He has been shown to have difficulty with intimacy, often using humor, sarcasm, or impulsive behavior as a shield. This moment with Chaz, however, pulls back that mask, hinting at how unresolved trauma still haunts him. Aggressive or non-consensual behavior likely reopens those old wounds, making him feel vulnerable and unsafe.
This scene, subtle as it may seem, offers a glimpse into the complex relationship Blitz has with intimacy and control. Despite his bravado and rough-around-the-edges persona, there’s an underlying fragility to him—a constant push and pull between craving connection and fearing the pain that comes with it. Moments like this serve as reminders that trauma doesn’t just fade; it lingers, shaping how someone engages with others, particularly in vulnerable situations.
I think this theory is supported by Blitz’s behavior at the very beginning of season 1, right after his adult encounter with Stolas. When Stolas called him his “first friend,” I noticed Blitz hesitated for a moment, and his tail flicked back and forth—almost like a cat’s. To me, it seemed like he was trying to suppress a certain memory. I believe he was likely considering whether or not to go through with the situation (which, as we know, he ultimately did). I didn’t just see guilt or pensiveness in that moment. It felt more like the behavior of someone who is reluctant to engage in sex unless it’s on their own terms—perhaps because he hadn’t initiated it or because something about it might have been a subconscious trigger.
I also feel that the “real fast” timeskip wasn’t out of the ordinary for their relationship. In my opinion, it reflected Blitz’s approach to their encounters—almost like he was thinking, “The faster I do this, the quicker it’s over, and the less I have to think about my past.” Of course, regardless of how Blitz felt about it, Stolas seemed to enjoy whatever they did together in the end.
In the “The Circus” episode I believe that Blitz’s behavior in the opening scene of season 1, right after his first adult encounter with Stolas. There’s a subtle but telling moment when Stolas calls Blitz his “first friend.” Blitz hesitates—his tail flicking back and forth in a way reminiscent of a cat’s when it’s conflicted or anxious. To me, that pause suggested more than just momentary awkwardness. It was as if he were grappling with a memory or a deeper internal conflict. It didn’t feel like simple guilt or embarrassment. Rather, it seemed like the behavior of someone who struggles to engage in intimacy unless it’s fully on their terms. Perhaps something about that encounter triggered a subconscious reaction—maybe because Blitz hadn’t been the one to initiate it, or because it brought up past trauma tied to sex or trust.
This hesitation also aligns with the way their relationship is portrayed overall. The “real fast” timeskip after their encounter wasn’t just a humorous narrative choice. I think it reflected Blitz’s coping mechanism—his tendency to emotionally detach and rush through uncomfortable moments. It’s as though he was thinking, “The faster I get this over with, the less time I have to think about what it means or how it makes me feel.” Blitz is someone who often masks his vulnerabilities with bravado and humor, and speeding through that moment could have been a way to maintain that emotional distance.
At the same time, Stolas’s perspective seems vastly different. While Blitz may have treated their encounter with detachment or even discomfort, Stolas clearly enjoyed it. His enthusiasm and affection afterward suggest that he viewed it as a meaningful, if not transformative, experience. This stark contrast in their responses adds layers to their dynamic. Blitz’s reluctance and emotional walls clash with Stolas’s open, almost idealistic view of their connection, which likely complicates things further for both of them.
Altogether, this moment, brief as it was, gives insight into the deeper struggles Blitz faces with trust, control, and intimacy—especially in relationships where emotional vulnerability is involved.
Conclusion:
I believe Blitz’s complicated relationship with intimacy and hypersexuality could stem from deep-seated trauma, potentially including sexual abuse. If that were the case, it would make a lot of sense why he fears true vulnerability and struggles to form genuine emotional connections. Trauma like that often leaves someone feeling a need to protect themselves by putting up walls, and Blitz clearly does that. He masks his fear of intimacy by being hypersexual himself, but it’s often more performative than sincere—like he’s using it as armor.
This could also explain why Blitz is so hostile toward people who act overtly sexual, especially when they cross his boundaries. He probably sees it as a threat, even if they don’t mean harm. That might be one reason he had such a strong, defensive reaction to Stolas in season one. Stolas’s forwardness—his aggressive flirting and transactional framing of their relationship—may have hit a nerve for Blitz. From Blitz’s perspective, it might have felt like Stolas was trying to control or use him, just like others in his past may have.
When someone’s trauma is tied to a loss of control over their body, anything that feels too forceful or performative in a sexual context can be triggering. It’s not just about physical boundaries being crossed; it’s the emotional and psychological damage that resurfaces when that vulnerability is challenged. I think Blitz might have been stuck in that mindset early on, seeing Stolas as yet another figure who wanted something from him without truly caring about who he was. That’s why he was detached, resentful, and defensive at first—it was a coping mechanism.
Ultimately, if Blitz did experience trauma like this, it sheds a lot of light on his fear of intimacy and the way he interacts with others, especially those who push boundaries. It’s not just about sex; it’s about control, safety, and self-protection. In that sense, Blitz’s journey could be about learning to trust again, to let his guard down without fear of being hurt or used. That’s not an easy process, but it adds layers to his character and explains a lot of the tension between him and Stolas at the start of their relationship.
That’s also why I find the idea of Blitz eventually opening up to Stolas so interesting. For someone like Blitz, bottoming might be one of the biggest acts of trust he could ever offer another person. He would have to believe—deep down—that Stolas wouldn’t hurt or exploit him like others from his past might have. But even if Blitz reaches that point of trust, trauma doesn’t just vanish. I can picture him suddenly getting triggered during the act, his mind flashing back to those painful memories. It wouldn’t be about Stolas doing anything wrong but rather about the vulnerability of the position itself.
It reminds me of Astarion’s story in Baldur’s Gate 3. Astarion physically can’t top because it reminds him too much of his abuse, and both characters share similar traits: they’re cocky, sexually charged, and full of bravado, but beneath it all, they’re deeply hurt and afraid of true intimacy. For Blitz, it’s not just about dominance; it’s about protecting himself. Giving rather than receiving allows him to maintain control and keep the trauma at bay.
Understanding this side of Blitz makes me sympathize with him even more. His behavior isn’t just about ego or arrogance—it’s survival. Yet, I think there’s real potential for healing in his relationship with Stolas. If Blitz ever lets himself trust fully, it could be one of the few moments where he allows himself to feel safe in someone else’s care. And for someone as deeply guarded as Blitz, that would be a powerful act of growth and vulnerability.

Theory Time: S3 Leak
I’m not entirely sure if this leaked footage is intentional, like what we saw with the Sinsmas episode, but either way, I want to discuss this scene. We see Octavia following someone whose identity is obscured—possibly Blitz, Moxxie, or even Millie in disguise. The figure’s height isn’t visible for long, and their face is completely covered. This person leads Octavia through a door, which stands out to me because she looks nervous, as though she’s either meeting someone secretly or feeling uncomfortable in her surroundings. It’s understandable given how manipulative her mother is. I can imagine Stella forcing her to attend the event under the guise of “duty” and “keeping up appearances as the Goetia heiress.”
I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if the figure were Blitz in disguise. He has gone to extreme lengths before to find and help those he cares about. We saw him risk trespassing on Stolas’s property despite their severed transactional relationship. He even tracked down and asked around about his sister’s whereabouts despite Barbie’s clear desire to cut him out of her life. It wouldn’t seem out of character for him to go to these lengths for Octavia either, despite her evident resentment toward him.
Tumblr media
In “Sinsmas”, it was clear to me that Blitz not only envisioned Octavia as part of his small, growing family but also went out of his way to tell Stolas not to give up on her, even though she had cut him off. Reflecting on that, I believe the whole “You love him” situation needs to be resolved before Stolitz can actually come together. If they rushed into a relationship without addressing it, that would only seem to confirm Octavia’s fear that Stolas “left” her for Blitz. I think this is something both Stolas and Blitz understand deep down.
In my opinion, Blitz needs to be the one to reach out to Octavia, encouraging her not to give up on Stolas. I could see Blitz being the one who ultimately helps mend their bond, as he himself has grown to value family more. Knowing Vivienne’s writing style, I suspect she might frame this development in a positive light, showing Blitz’s growth. Back in season one, Blitz had little to no remorse when tearing families apart, like when he casually killed that husband during their hit job. However, in season two’s finale, he couldn’t bring himself to destroy a family because he now sees Loona, Stolas, and Octavia as his own. That scene where he calls off the assassination really resonated with me.
To be fair, I wouldn’t say Blitz broke Stolas’s family apart. You can’t break something that was already shattered, and Stella’s cruelty played a huge role in that. However, Blitz’s presence did make Octavia believe that her father had abandoned her for someone else. I’m sure Stella whispered those lies to her, vilifying Stolas and making her think he would leave her behind.
Looking ahead to season three, I hope Blitz is instrumental in bringing Stolas and Octavia closer than ever. I imagine he might have a heartfelt conversation with Octavia that parallels Loona’s talk with her in “Seeing Stars”, reinforcing the “like father, like daughter” theme. Maybe that’s the moment Octavia decides to secretly visit Stolas, knowing full well she isn’t supposed to because of his exile. However she did already broke that rule before severing their relationship in Sinsmas. Who’s to say she won’t bend the rules again to maintain some connection after everything between them is resolved?
It’s hard to say exactly how this story will play out. Maybe Octavia will pretend to stay “estranged” from her father but secretly communicate with him. I could see her using a burner phone to text him under Stella’s nose. That way, Stolas could have peace of mind, knowing his daughter doesn’t truly “hate” him. Perhaps Octavia, in her own way, in actuality struggles with guilt, thinking she’s a burden to her father. This dynamic could offer powerful moments of healing and reconciliation between them.

Theory Time: The Break Up
I know everyone is jumping on the idea that Blitz ran off and maxed out Verosika’s credit cards, and while I get why, I believe their relationship was more nuanced than what Verosika’s statement alone suggests. I think that in Season 3, we’ll likely see Blitz’s perspective and learn more about what really happened. From what we’ve seen so far, I suspect there’s more to it than we realize.
I’m not trying to say that Verosika was entirely at fault or that Blitz is a saint. We know Blitz has serious issues with commitment, but I think there are deeper factors at play. One major point is that Verosika is an alcoholic. I can’t help but feel that Blitz, despite his flaws, behaves differently around people he genuinely cares about—he seems much more tender and compassionate in those moments. I think it’s possible he was that way with Verosika too, at least early in their relationship.
However, we know things fell apart when Verosika said, “I love you.” Blitz ran off, unable to deal with that emotional vulnerability. I believe that same situation may resurface with Stolas in Season 3, forcing Blitz to finally confront his fear of intimacy and commitment. But I also think there’s more to why he left Verosika than just his fear.
For one, I believe Verosika’s alcoholism may have been a trigger for Blitz. When I think about how he behaves around Barbie Wire, his sister, it becomes clearer. He’s shown concern for her sobriety, saying, “You’re clean now, maybe we can grab some dinner.” That line tells me he cares deeply about keeping loved ones on a healthier path. I suspect that Verosika’s drinking may have reminded him of his sister’s struggles, and he may have gone into “fix it” mode, trying to help her.
youtube
I also think Verosika might have been an aggressive drinker, someone who didn’t respond well to that kind of intervention. If Blitz tried to help and Verosika rejected it or refused to change, I can see him eventually reaching a breaking point. Subconsciously, I think he told himself, “That’s it, I’m done.” But because Blitz struggles to communicate his feelings like a normal person, he probably didn’t explain his reasons and instead made an eccentric, hurtful exit.
Now, about the credit card situation—I have a theory. I don’t believe Blitz maxed out her cards purely out of spite. Part of me wonders if he thought that by cutting off her access to money, he could indirectly curb her drinking. Of course, that would have come across as controlling, which is problematic in itself. Even if Blitz had said something like, “I’m cutting you off because I think you’re drinking too much,” it wouldn’t have gone over well. Blitz is many things, and yes, he is deeply flawed, but underneath his bravado and arrogance, he has a big heart. He wants to help the people he cares about—even Verosika, at least back then. Unfortunately, his methods and inability to communicate likely led to the resentment she still harbors for him.
In the end, I think their relationship was a tragic mix of unhealed trauma, miscommunication, and incompatible coping mechanisms. Both of them were hurt, and their dynamic fell apart because neither could truly handle the other’s issues. I’m hopeful that we’ll get more of Blitz’s side soon and see him come to terms with his past so he can build healthier relationships moving forward.
I have a theory about why Blitz ended his relationship with Verosika. Whether things between them were good or bad at the time, I feel there’s a particular reason he holds such disdain for succubi and incubi. Verosika has the power to use sexual inducement—which, if used inappropriately or maliciously, I believe could be considered a form of rape. Even if she promised Blitz she’d never use it on him, I suspect she might have broken that promise.
Tumblr media
From my experience with drunk people, I know that when they’re intoxicated, they can forget or ignore promises, even ones they made with good intentions. I think this may have been what happened between Verosika and Blitz, causing a deep rift between them.
I also can’t ignore how Blitz reacted in the “Spring Broken” episode when Moxxie was sexually assaulted by Verosika’s posse. Despite Moxxie already said “no” and clarified that he was married, Blitz’s panic and anger seemed too intense to be solely about protecting his employee. I believe that moment triggered a traumatic memory for Blitz, perhaps from the early stages of his relationship with Verosika. That might explain why he’s so resentful toward her and why he places such importance on consent.
Conclusion
Further supporting my point is the fact that Blitz’s bio describes Verosika as his rival, which makes sense. However, it also mentions that he hates her crew, which is significant. If there hadn’t been a group assault, why would Blitz feel such antagonism toward her entire crew if they had done nothing to him? The word “rival” doesn’t just imply competitiveness—it can also denote hostility. In this case, I believe it leans more toward hostility, which aligns with what I discussed earlier.
While Blitz is a highly lustful character, I see him as the opposite of someone like Valentino. It really frustrates me when people suggest that Blitz “sexually assaulted” Stolas during their first adult encounter. I was relieved when the episode Mastermind confirmed that Blitz doesn’t condone rape in any form. His relationship with Stolas, though it may have some transactional elements, was ultimately consensual. That distinction is crucial, as it reflects Blitz’s boundaries.
