what did you mean when you said trigger warnings aren't necessary?

Two different people wanted the answer to this unless you decided you should send it in twice. Anyway it’s not like I think all triggers aren’t necessary…I’d definitely tag the shit that needs to be tagged, but I don’t think death is something that needs to come with a trigger warning. I mean…you know it’s a daily thing right? People die, it’s completely natural, and life doesn’t come with trigger warnings. On the other hand death by something like murder or torture is definitely not natural and something I would trigger warn. Does that make sense?

Everything is wow. The plot is original, fucking props to them for adding a trigger warning, even though I didn’t think it was necessary, but it’s better to be safe than sorry  but I’m still left with a few questions? Like, is the point for the convergents to re-discover their past, or is that not part of anything? Still, the basis for it is good. The colors are nice, the navigation page is clean, the graphics are nice….I give it an A.

I saw this rp when I was going through the tags and trying not to impale myself because of the other monstrosities that people call rps. The theme and color scheme are nice and so are the graphics, but the plot just seemed so boring to me that it wasn’t worth a rec. There’s literally nothing going on in it. If you’re into town rps then go apply and knock yourself out. 

EDIT: Ok so Adrian tells me that I was right about the plot (thanks, fucker), but the part of the bio where they included the six word stories is cute. It actually is kind of cute so go look at that.

Going through this tag is a motherfucking work out because you wouldn’t believe the basic shit that’s clogging it. If you look past the nasty theme this rp isn’t bad. Greaterperhaps-rp looks cute. Those were honestly the only two decent ones I can find. Maybe once we do more opinions on a few rps I can actually come up with a decent rec list, but I’m really not in the mood to scroll through all the bullshit that’s in the tags. Fucking Adrian was right.

what kind of RP's would you really like to see? like plots for instance

Remember when time travel rps used to be super in? Like, traveling back to the 60s or 20s and all that jazz? I want to see one of those again. It’d be great if it was run by an admin that would make sure that characters and such were portrayed accurately along with the time period, but I seriously think that admins like that are dead or something.

the admin of texasforever-rp is pretty fucking disgusting. she's basically under the impression that everyone who comes from X state has to act/be like Y. She thinks everyone in Texas is a 'adam and eve, not adam and steve' type and that everyone there still thinks that homosexual is wrong and that fucking slavery should never have been abolished. Why are people like this even allowed to start groups up?

That’s fucked up to the max. And what do they mean, that they as admins would feel comfortable if all characters (minus two, what the fuck) were heterosexual? Yes, Texas is an extremely old school state and they’re right when they say that the norms in that state are that a man should be with a woman, not the opposite sex. But this is a fucking roleplay, a place where everyone can explore whatever fucking sexuality they want. Texas may be a part of the Bible belt but that doesn’t mean that they have zero LGBT people living in that state. I’m just gonna put it out there: this roleplay fucking sucks. Wow.

Jesus christ. I…what is this mess? Unlimited fc’s? A different plot every week? No one is ever kicked out for inactivity? I understand what the admins are trying to do; they want to bring something different to the tags, and they seem nice enough after scrolling through the main, but what the fuck? Not my favorite idea for an rp. The graphics are ace and the main page is nice to look at, but some of the navigation links are confusing as hell and there’s no explanation as to what they’re for. I know it’s appless, but if they’re holding off on ‘accepting’ and letting them build up in their inbox, they really should have some sort of app count.

Overall; What the fuck. Not doing it for me.

Opinion on escrpg?

That theme is fucking cute as hell and the color scheme is wow. I think the gif in the sidebar moves way too fucking fast but if you’re not staring directly at it it’s easy to ignore. The plot isn’t bad either and everything looks really clean, so A+.
