Till Death Do Us Part // 4

Summary: Y/n, Eleven’s sister, 007 hears about the lab shutting down but has to see it for herself. During her trip she comes across a boy named Steve who she falls madly in love with. When she reconnects with her sister she hears about the troubles they have and decides to help. But maybe everything doesn’t turn out as well as they would like.

Warnings: fluff, angst, talks about abuse, talks about death??? um nothing else really

Pairing: Steve Harrington x Female!Reader

Sheer panic set in.

“There’s no way, we saw him get killed.” Mike demands

“Yeah, on which side ?” You protest back, your vision were never wrong.

“It doesn’t matter!” Lucas slams back

“Yes it does! Just because you see someone covered in blood doesn’t mean they are dead!” You scream back, then you slam the table “look, i get it more than you think I do. I don’t want to believe it either but trust me. He’s here and he isn’t going to just wait around for us to plan something. He wants vengeance and to rebuild his plan. So we need to stop arguing with each other and move.” You preach, everyone goes silent waiting for someone brave enough to come up with something.

“He’s only human, we have taken down things from other worlds. He doesn’t have an army, he doesn’t have anyone, but what do we have? We have each other.” Will steps up to say, everyone is taken back considering he isn’t normally the one who speaks up. He looks over to you and you smile and wink at him.

“Alright, so how do we find him?” Steve asks

“I can do it.” Eleven says, “it’s not like I haven’t found someone before.” She says, walking over to grab the blindfold. She sits on the couch and everyone just waits, you could tell she was nervous I mean. How could you blame her?

“Let me see with you.” You say, she looks up and furrows her brows. You grab her hand and nod for her to begin what she usually does. You look around and take a deep breath closing your eyes and relaxing. You open your eyes to a dark empty room, it was all black.

“Hello,” you hear a very familiar voice say, refusing to turn around you reply

“What do you want?” You say gritting your teeth unable to stop shaking with anger.

“I want you to come home. I want revenge. I want…everything.” You says you feel his breath on your neck now.

“What make you think you can take us?” You see clenching your jaw.

“What makes you think i haven’t already?” He whispers in your ear, you turn around to grab him but nothing was there.

“Y/n?” You hear eleven question, you turn to her confused on what just happened.

“Did you find him?” You ask dismissing what just happened

“Yeah, what did you see?” She asks

“Nothing, it’s just, nothing.” You say walking over to her. After you open your eyes to see everyone there you noticed Steve sitting next to you staring obviously worried. Once he notices you’re awake he breaks his stare trying to pretend like he wasn’t. You smile slightly and look down at the ground.

“Did you find him?” Joyce asks stepping to eleven, helping her stand up.

“Yes, but he’s not alone. I couldn’t see who was with him but he’s definitely not alone.” Eleven replies

“Well, were going to need back up then.” Dustin says,

“Okay everyone meets at the cabin. It’s the one place we know he won’t be.” Hopper says as everyone begins to walk out you stop eleven

“Listen, i will call the other i know, and you should do the same. Please just be careful. I saw something that I can’t explain and i.. just be careful.” You say pulling her into a hug,

“I will.” She whispers into your shoulder

You begin to walk away up to Steve, you have your arms folded and your watching the ground while you walk. Taking slow steps knowing you eventually need to speak to him. You take a deep breath and soon see his shoes in front of yours, you look up at him.

“Hey,” You say quietly smiling

“Are you okay?” He asks

“Yeah, I’ve been anticipating this day my entire life.” You reply looking off scoffing and brushing a piece of hair behind your ear. He steps towards you causing you to finally make eye contact with him.

“He’s not going to hurt you.” He says dangerously close,

“Hey, y/n!” You hear someone yell making you jerk back and look away. You turn to see will calling your name. “Sorry to interrupt but Mike just called and said something's happening at the lab.” He says almost panicked, you and Steve look at each other then rush into the car and speed over there. All you could see was lightning? The sky is clear so how could there be lightning? Then it dawned on you.

“005” you whisper to yourself, thinking about why she would be at the lab.

“What did you say?” Steve asks, you break out of your thoughts and look up.

“Her name is Samantha it she was test subject 5, electricity.” You explain, “it’s him.” You say figuring it out and then clenching your first. “He’s got her.” You scold

“You mean-“ Will begins but doesn’t even want to say his name because that would bring him back into existences.

“Yes, I mean him.” You say staring at the building with a death stare.

“Alright so what do we do?” Mike asks,

“We do nothing, we stick to the plan.” You reply beginning to walk to Steve’s car.

“What why, we know where he is we have him.” Mike protests, you snap around and start walking towards

“Yeah okay, so what do we do then? Walk snatch him up and boom done all easy. No kid, that not how this works. San can’t control her powers yet, and those 5,000 watts don’t feel good. We try to even walk into the building and none of us are walking back.” You explain to him, but then begin to worry. How many others does he have? What is he doing to them? Soon everyone meets at the cabin and goes ever the plan with the new found information.

“Listen, Eleven and I are the only ones who can talk to anyone in there. I don’t know how many others he has but I can guess a lot of them are like us. Dustin, Max, and Lucas you guys are going to go to the cameras. You’re going to guide all of us. Mike, Will, Eleven, and Hopper you all are going to try and find as many innocents as possible. This means any hostages or test subjects whether you know them or not. Steve, Jonathan, Nancy and I will all go after Brenner. If anyone runs into trouble do not try to fight you run as fast as you can.” You explain the plan, it’s not this is the first time you had to break into a building and split into groups. No one argues with it considering you are the only one who knows what they are doing. You could tell they were all nervous though and to be completely honest so were you. Everyone begins packing the gear and everything you were going to need. Once everyone is ready, you drive separate cars to the lab.

“Hey, y/n.” You hear a voice call for you as you walk to Steve’s car, you turn to see the group of kids running up to you.

“What’s up?” You say raising your eyebrows

“We uh, just wanted to say.” Dustin begins

“You’re like one of the coolest people we have ever met.” Lucas finishes Dustin’s sentence and you smile

“Can i guess who the other one is?” You ask loud enough for Steve to hear

“Sure!” They say excitedly, you shift your eyes over to Steve

“Is it Steve?” You ask and they nod, you see Steve smiling out of the corner of your eye which makes you chuckle a little. “Don’t tell him, but he’s definitely one of the coolest people I have met as well.” You tell them loud enough for Steve to hear, you look at him in the corner of your eye and see him smirking to himself and looking at the ground. The kids run off to their bikes and you go over to Steve.

“One of them?” He asks as you open the car door,

“Brian. He was the other one.” You reply hesitating a bit but thinking about him kind of gave you a boost of confidence for the plan. You both get in the car and Steve looks over at you noticing the expression on your face.

“What are you smiling about?” He asks

“I was just thinking about something Briana dad had told me once.” You say

“What did he say?” Steve asks

“When Brian and I first went to meet his dad it was at a family dinner. In this huge mansion with all of his real family and the family he made doing jobs and everything. His dad told me, ‘if you ever find a guy who will spill his heart in front of you and not hold back any emotion. That’s when you know he is the one who you should spend the rest of your life with.’ I never knew what he meant until now.” You say smiling but not looking at steve, almost daydreaming about the conversation.

“So you’re smiling because… you think you found him?” Steve asks clearing his throat and shifting in his seat,

“Yeah, i think I have.” You say biting your lip and look over at him, studying him once again but taking it all in. How absolutely gorgeous he was, the he gripped the wheel, the way one hand was off the wheel begging you to hold it. You finally hold his hand and he smiles,

“We’re here.” He says, you look out the window. Your entire body language changes, after all this time, running trying to escape your past. You were revisiting it, running towards it. Without realizing you let good Steve’s hand and just get out of the car. Everyone else pulls up behind you guys and you just begin walking straight for the building.

“Are you ready?” You hear Eleven says behind you, you clench your first and tilt your head slightly.

“See you on the other side.” You reply smirk and then beginning to walk inside, you look over your shoulder and see Steve and had immediate deja vu, just like the old days.
