England knows he's a rather hot tempered individual. He's quick to anger and impulsive and stubborn. There's so many negative traut that can be used to describe him.

France would happily chime in.

But Arthur was just a man too. He has watched many nations come and go, raised a few kids. So there was obviously something inherently human about him, right?

(Except there isn't)

He sees the kings and queens of his country. He's seen their rise and fall for many a centuries. And sometimes he wonders, with a bitter feeling festering in his heart, why couldn't it be him?

Why couldn't he just disappear?

Immortality, although often sought after, made for a lonely companion.

Sure he had the other nations. However, not many liked him as he is. Either for a past too deep or for a present too fresh.

Arthur doesn't know. But damn it does he want to. He's tired of feeling lonely. He knows he's made bad choices but they're in the past! Everyone has made bad choices in their life!

(But were they really in the past? He hears the voices whisper to him teasingly.)

England doesn't know, Arthur definitely doesn't know. But he's prepared to face the unknown by himself.

(After all, who can you count on besides yourself?)

Ehe it's been a while

But in my defense, January has been super busy what with work, school and being sick

(🍓 had to go to the hospital at one point 😭 but she's okay now!!)

And now that it is Feb (like usual 🍓 is writing this at ungodly o clock on the 1st of Feb), here is an update!

That's it. That's the update. Ga Ming is just plaguing all of 🍓's thoughts and has consumed her mind.

🍓 loves him so much she farmed primos solely for to pull for him on the event banner!! Not for Xianyun, not for Nahida. Him.

Also she's a little sad Genshin didn't choose to put his name with a space and capitalisation of his name. Well, not just for him but all other Liyue characters as well. Because it makes searching up guides for how to build him so hard.

And also all the gaming jokes. Like it's 'haha funny' at first but then it gets tiring after people make it so much, especially since it's based off the Cantonese pronunciation, which is 🍓's dialect group.

Which is also why 🍓 has taken to calling him by the Chinese way of saying his name, 嘉明 (Jia Ming).

But yes, quick update. 🍓 has currently been obsessing over Genshin because of Jia Ming and will continue just for him. Might post a fic or drabble for him. Will see how busy she is. Lunar New Year is in 9 days after all!

🍓 got around to finally playing one of the many games she got this year and boy was it worth it. She is currently obsessed with it right now.

So for context on how she started playing the game, 🍓 was talking about otome games/dating sim/visual novel with a coworker and her coworker brought up Our Life: Beginning & Always

And so 🍓 talked with her coworker about it, telling them that she never played but got the whole bundle and the coworker said she should. And well, since she got sick recently with the flu and then rona now, she figured why not start the game.

And she regrets starting it because she is obsessed with it. Like she's clocked 32 hours in the past 3 (?) days she's played!

(As you can imagine, 🍓 is very bored during her covid isolation as evident from her playtime 😶‍🌫️)

She still hasn't gone through Derek and Baxter's DLC yet because her heart has been set on Cove and she can't find it in her to say not to him.

Also 🍓's been very embarrassed because Cove canonically has a thing for anklets/ankle bracelets and she wears them fairly often.

🍓 might start writing for OLBA just because it is her current brainrot/hyperfixation but she will see. Motivation to write has been few and sparse.

Short post but since 🍓 is sick, this will have to do. She needs to rest and being awake at 3:30am is not helping 草

Training to be a professor was fun.

He learnt so much from Sonia and Professor Magnolia. They taught him so much more than he could ever hope to learn!

His Dubwool was a steadfast companion, often helping him out with lugging stuff for his research.

His Rillaboom was also such a great helper, always been one since it was a Grookey.

And he's so proud of how far he's come with his own talents!

(Except for the times where he's not.)

Sometimes, he turns on the TV only to see his neighbours, rivals and best friends doing so well.

Gloria and her Cinderace dominating challengers as they fight to take the Champion Title from her to no avail.

(It was never a close match at all. Defeating someone who held the Champion title for 10 years was a major feat!)

Victor and his Inteleon working round the clock with Leon to help build up Galar's trust again in the committee under the ex-champion's careful eye.

(His cool wits made him the perfect bridge, especially considering his connections to the past champion and the current champion, making Victor the ideal choice for the face of the committee.)

And he feels inferior.

Hop couldn't help the ugly feeling that grew and festered in him on days like these. On days where he was already not feeling up to it only to be reminded again about things like these.

(Like his failure. To be champion. To defeat Leon. To stop Eternatus.)

And on days like, all he could do was wallow, hidden away in the lab, pouring over countless research documents despite the cries of his trusty Dubwool.

He'd wallow until he could push it down and pretend all was fine, a smile plastered onto his face as he goes back to his cheery (fakefakefakefake) disposition.

He would be okay. He had to.

PJO musings. Spoilers for new campers!

Every day, the son of Poseidon jubilantly goes through camp. He spends the day with Grover, with Annabeth, with Thalia, Leo, Frank, Piper, Nico, Will, Chiron.

(And at night, he cries about the ones he lost. The ones he couldn't save.)

He takes new campers under his wing, teaches them how to fight with a sword. He guides them with a laugh in his eyes but a strain in his smile.

(He tries not to think about his first lesson with Luke. Or what follows at the end of that camp season.)

Despite his qualms, Percy will visit the attic of the Big House. It creeped him out as much as it did the first time he visited the place.

(The mummy body of the Oracle of Delphi isn't there. He doesn't know why he keeps seeing ghosts of it there.)

He spends his time underwater, ignoring the flirty nereids and curious sea creatures. Opting to find the deepest place he could go to sit in peace.

(Except, it never was peaceful. His mind thinks of BeckendorfSilenaMichaelLeeEthanZöeBianca-)

Percy, who just wants to give up.

(But then he thinks of Sally, and Paul, and his future sibling.)

And then he thinks, that maybe, just maybe, he can live another day. For them. No.. for himself. After all, he already lived this long. What's another few more years?

America celebrates 4th of July every year in quiet solitude, despite what others may think. The loud fireworks sound too much like the sounds of guns and cannons, too much like the reminder of the war that led him to freedom.

(The faces of the people who died, the grief he felt, feels, when he sees, recalls, their body dropping like flies. The agony on the battlefield facing against England, Arthur, the man who raised him and loved him like his own.)

Sometimes, when he looks at the current president (Gods, how many has it been? 39? 46? He doesn't know. Time passes by him too fast.), he sees the face of his first.

(You never forget the first.)

He sees George Washington, catches glimpse of him walking around the office, sharing a drink with him, each nursing a cup of their own, tired smiles etched on their faces.

But then he blinks, and he sees the current president and he's doing the same thing as he was then. Enjoying the drink and a little small celebration of their independence, his independence. Together, in a quiet moment, despite the loud party and celebrations outside.

America exhales slowly before taking a sip of his drink.

Happy birthday to him.

Been a while since 🍓 posted! Hello!

🍓 hasn't had much time for anime recently because of work and school as well as irl home matters. (Her house is under going renovation!)

But today, 8·11 is her birthday whoo! 🥳

🍓's November and December is going to be busy but she'll try to make time to post something once in a while about fandoms!!

(Hopefully she'll do fine! She has a lot of things she wants to post too like the new season of Hypmic as well as SW:CW and OP!!)

🍓 just wants to update everyone on how she's been and wish everyone a good day!

🍓's been busy adapting to her new work and school routine so she hasn't been posting (sorry!) but she got back into Beastars recently!

🍓 read the series back when it first came out and kept up weekly then stopped. She doesn't remember exactly which chapter she stopped , she knows it was after meeting the hybrid Melon (if she remembers his name correctly) , so she's re-reading and re-watching the series!

But her favourite characters are Legoshi and Kai. Legoshi is very cute and overall appeals to her with his behaviour but Kai is a different , specific reason.

🍓 started liking Kai because he's voiced by Okamoto Nobuhiko (who if you don't recognise , voices Bakugo Katsuki from Boku no Hero Academia , Nishinoya Yū from Haikyū!! , Shinazugawa Genya from Kimetsu no Yaiba amongst other roles). She enjoys all of his roles and likes him a lot!

Of course , 🍓 grew to love Kai as a character. He's the kusogaki-kun/kamatte-kun type and she thinks they're a very endearing sub type. 🍓 kinda wants to watch the series in both sub and dub 🤔

Unrelated note to this post , 🍓 wants to start streaming and would like to know if you guys would be interested in watching her? It'll be under a different alias but it's still her!

🍓 cannot wait for QSH's battle to be animated! She's a big lover of mythology and important figures from history so this anime/manga has been a blast.

The anime ends with the introduction of Qin Shi Huang (秦始皇) , the first Emperor of China and 🍓 cannot wait for the battle between the two Kings.

Ying Zheng's introduction was such a ride. Blasting through walls to get where he wants , invading the Greek Gods VIP seating and claiming it as his , throwing Ares down , and his battle introduction was 🩷

When all the Emperors of China after him all lined up below and rolled a carpet for him~ 🩷 🍓 seriously loves SnV QSH.

And at the end of his battle with Hades , where he called the King of the Underworld 朋友 (TL: Friend) , 🍓 sobbed so much.

🍓 hasnt read the latest 3 chapters but she's excited for match between Apollo and King Leonidas! Chapter 79 ends with them being introduced as competitors for the 9th round!

(Secretly 🍓 is hoping Apollo wins because that's her godly parent but also she really wants to see Leonidas beat his narcissistic ass)

Update: Of course his narcissistic side is a front. Lesson learnt. Never doubt father dearest. (Forgive me Lord Apollo. Your child is ignorant)

🍓's hot take as someone who doesn't watch/read Komi can't communicate: If you ship both Hitohito x Shōko as well as Shōsuke x Hitomi , it's borderline incestual ✨

Controversial yikes but hear her out!

Yes , they (Shōko and Hitohito) aren't dating/married but if you ship them , you obviously see them as potential partners. Shōsuke and Hitomi are their younger siblings. So if you see them as potential partners on top of Shōko and Hitohito , then it becomes an issue.

If you ship one OR the other , it's fine. But shipping both makes it an issue. This applies to all shows really.

Then again this is just a hot take and 🍓 doesn't care because she doesn't watch Komi can't communicate www

🍓 is currently at Little Garden Arc and totally believes that this was THE episode that cements Nami and Usopp as 'Gossip Besties' as she likes to call them.

They're definitely the more sane people , not including Vivi , and they have to suffer with the Monster Trio's nonsense since the East Blue.

🍓 thinks that in a modern setting , they would totally be that one male and female best friend that have long 'tea' times over the phone about their friends , acquaintances and even random strangers on the street.

🍓 was re-watching [ Kuroko no Basket: Last Game ] and she just wants everyone to know how much she loves Akashi.

Truthfully 🍓 has no idea how she started liking him because he isn't like her usual type of men. But she likes him and she likes him A LOT.

Maybe because he's so elegant. Like a prince , or Emperor. Maybe 🍓 will write a Royal AU fic for Akashi www.

Also! 🍓 has been reading a few soulmate fics as well as Omegaverse fics! She thinks Akashi would be an amazing Alpha. He would take really good care of his mate. Ahh!! I'm so jealous!!!

🍓's been browsing Heart Pirates fanart and is thoroughly enamoured by the Penguin ones she could find 👉🏻👈🏻

She doesn't even know how he is canonically but she has seen multiple fics , gifs and clips so from what 🍓 has seen, Penguin and Shachi are basically Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum. Two peas in a pod!

The tired and loud yawn that accompanies the greeting makes you laugh a little as you continue to prepare a simple breakfast for your hardworking captain. Soon his figure emerges from round the corner and he moves to plop himself onto a chair, tired eyes watching you.

Giving a small smile over your shoulder, you move to plate the simple breakfast as well as pouring him a cup of coffee before placing it in front of the male. Leaning over, you smoothed a hand his hair, taming the messy pink strands before pressing a kiss to his forehead.

"Good morning darling. Helmeppo came by earlier to inform you that Garp wanted to see you once you're at headquarters."

Nodding his head, somewhat dazedly, the pink hair marine captain continues to eat his breakfast as you go on about your shift the previous night. He lets out the occasional hums as he listens to your story, eyes focused on you as you wash the dishes.

Koby soon finishes his breakfast and moves to drop it off in the sink, pressing a kiss and murmuring a soft thanks before going to get ready for the day whilst you get ready to sleep. You both go about your usual routines with practiced ease and soon he was ready to leave.

Like routine, you stand by the front door, watching as the pink hair male puts on his shoes before grabbing his coat off the hook and sliding it on over his shoulders. He turns to you, eyes softening as he smiles gently.

"I'm heading off now. Have a good rest beloved."

As he turns to leave, you clear your throat, catching his attention. Your arms crossed in front of you, you rose a brow before parting your lips to speak.

"Aren't you forgetting something?"

Koby ponders for a moment, a brief look of confusion crossing his face before he lit up. He leans in and cradles your face between his hands, pressing a sweet kiss to your lips.

"I love you darling."

Pulling away, he seems satisfied by his actions, cheeks tinted a light pink as he smiled contentedly. You feel your own cheek flush at his action before you cleared your throat again, holding your hand out and showing the keys resting in your palm.

"I meant this, but I love you too darling."

Koby blinks once, twice, before his blush darkens as he fumbles, grabbing the keys before hastily leaving, face steaming from embarrassment at his cute blunder.

Oh you loved how cute your boyfriend is!

When he arrived at headquarters, still embarrassed and agonizing over his actions, Koby failed to realise how red his face had gotten. Helmeppo, once catching sight of his partner, merely snorted as he saunters up to the pink hair captain and inform him about the meeting.

"You might want to cool down before going to see Garp-sensei. Your face is so red you might as well have been sunburnt."

The blond male says before walking off, waving a hand in goodbye. Koby could only stutter, cheeks flushing even darker as he protested vehemently only for his words to fall on deaf ears.

🍓 thinks Benn is overdue of a raise of his share/pay in loots. He is not only the second in command of the 赤髪海賊団 (akagami kaizoku-dan) but also because he has to babysit the majority of the crew, is probably the Quartermaster¹ of the ship as well AND has to keep an eye on their irresponsible captain.

(🍓 loves Shanks but she knows for sure that he isn't the one making sure they stay afloat on a normal day to day basis on long voyages with nothing to do but daily chores.)

Doesn't help that Benn is super reliable and takes good care of the crew members , ensures that their Captain doesn't do anything too irrational , is so swoon-worthy~ 🩷

🍓's birthday is a day before Benn's~ Super lucky~!

¹ - Quartermaster: The one responsible to handle disputes , concerns , well-being of crew members , ensure the ship runs smoothly as well as the one to impose punishment on the men (the Captain is also applicable for punishment in certain cases if the Quartermaster deems it appropriate) on top of many other responsibilities. Usually the First Mate of pirate crews but in certain cases would/could be ranked higher and will have the First Mate working directly under them.

P.S: They did Benn so dirty in the OPLA 😭!!! 🍓 truly means no offense to the actor but the costuming for Benn was so unflattering 😭
