Confession

You were awoken by a text message from your phone, reading from your friend Minho. He was asking if you wanted to go out with him and his friends for the day. Today was your first and only day off that you had gotten in months from school, but this would be one of the only times that you actually got to spend with Minho. He was after-all, an idol now, and barely had any time for anything but being an idol.

‘When do I need to be ready, and what are we doing?’ You text back, sitting up in bed and trying to figure out what you needed to do and wear for the day. He texted you back almost instantly.

‘Well, we are going to go on a train ride, and get off around a park. I want to do something today where we can add the essence of fall. Also, we are already here to get you, so hurry!’ The message read.

You rolled your eyes and jumped off of your bed. Your phone read that today was going to be a bit of a warmer day than it had been, so you grabbed a red flannel shirt that wasn’t too thick, and put on a pair of jeans. As you quickly got dressed, you heard knocking on your door, which signaled that Minho was ready to go. You grabbed your phone and made your way to the door as fast as you could.

Once you opened the door, Minho threw himself around you and gave you a hug. You felt your face get warm, but hugged him back. Changbin was smiling and waving at you and gave you a wink from seeing your face heat up.

“Hi, y/n! I’ve missed you so much. I’m sorry we haven’t been able to spend much time together.” Minho says as he pulls away from the hug.

“It’s ok Min-Min. I’ve missed you too, but we’ve both been pretty busy. You more so than myself.” You say, as you all begin to walk towards the train station, which wasn’t far from your home.

“Aww she calls you Min-Min. How adorable. Min-Min why didn’t you tell us that was your nickname from y/n.” Felix pokes at Minho. You look over to see if his face was as red as yours, which you honestly thought he was more red than yourself.

“Felix, stop that. He’s redder than me.” You say, grabbing at Minho’s arm and trying to get him to stop being so embarrassed.

You hear someone which sounded like Seungmin comment something under his breath but couldn’t make anything out.

“Excuse me, what was that?” You ask, putting a hand on your hips and becoming sassy. This caught Seungmin and Woojin off guard.

“It wasn’t much of anything. Sorry.” Seungmin says, his face now becoming just about as red as Minho’s.

“That’s what I thought.” You say and nodding your head, not pursuing what they had said.

Once you all made it to the train station, you use your passes to get through and onto the train. The train you all would be on would be coming soon. You finally took in the boys and noticed that they were carrying extra equipment. Knowing that Minho wouldn’t be straight with you, you walked up to Chan.

“So, what are we exactly, doing today?” You ask, hoping he would tell you.

“If I tell you that it is JYP related, are you going to be upset?” He asks, messing with his hair, showing he was a bit nervous.

“I mean, I don’t actually mind it. If that’s the only time I can get with you all and Minho, I’ll take it.” You state, shrugging at Chan.

“Not to be blunt, but why don’t you just tell him that you like him?” He says, giving you a knowing look.

“Because we could never work, and it is already hard for us to see each other as just friends. Also, I don’t think he really likes me like that.” You state, not surprised that Chan picked up on your feelings for your best friend.

“Here we go with the typical ‘there’s no way they could like me’ card. You people kill me. Honest to goodness kill me. I’m walking away.” Cahn exclaims, and quickly goes and finds an area to sit that is already full with other members.

The only spot that was opened was with Minho, because he had been saving a seat for you. You smiled and sat down with him, laying your head on his shoulder. Felix and Changbin were on the other side of you all and were smirking and whispering to each other. You chose to ignore them and began to fall asleep on Minho.

“Y/N, honey. I need you to wake up. We’re here.” Minho says, shaking you with his shoulder. You woke up but could barely stand, so you followed in behind Minho, grabbing on to his shirt to not get lost from him.

“Why is she so adorable?” You hear I.N ask. You felt Minho grimace and saw him look at I.N but you didn’t know what look he made. It was enough to make I.N quickly walk away.

“Min-Min, what are we doing now?” You ask, continuing to follow in behind him. However, he stops walking and you run right into him.

“We are going to have you help us record a video for one of our songs off the new album. Most of us will be doing the self-camera, but I wanted you to be involved in some way, and this was what we all thought of.” He says, looking down at you with loving eyes. You felt a blush come to your cheeks, loving that he wanted you to be involved with him and his group.

“Just make sure not to get me in any frames. I don’t think fans would like to see a random girl in the shots.” You state, smiling up at him.

“But you aren’t a random girl. You’re my best friend and…” He begins, but trails off.

“And?” You ask, wanting to know what he was going to say.

“Nothing. Here’s a camera.” He says, quickly handing the camera to you to change the subject.

You starred at him questioningly, but didn’t pry. You watched all the boys begin to goof off and film their videos. They were all adorable and weird, but you loved being around them all, especially Minho. You mainly focused on Minho with recording, but sometimes you would keep the camera on him and pay attention to other boys. You couldn’t resist them.

“Fall is absolutely gorgeous. I love fall.” You say, looking out at the trees as you continued to pay attention to Minho.

“I know you love fall. That’s why I asked you to come out here today. I knew it was going to be a warmer day and that you would love this.” He says, smiling sheepishly at you.

“You’re so cute, Minho. How did I get so lucky to have you as my best friend?” You say, and feel a sense of dread after you say it. However, you were distracted by another member of Stray Kids.

“The car is here!” You hear one of the boy’s shout and watch them take off running to the vehicle.

“I love them, but I am most certainly not running to get to the vehicle.” You state, casually walking to the car.

“Then I shall walk with you.” Minho says, walking beside you.

You smiled up at him and just appreciated the chance to be able to spend time with him. It was always nice spending time with Minho. It usually meant that you were going over to the dorm to watch movies or something with him and the boys, but that didn’t bother you because it meant you got to be with him.

“We have a problem.” You hear as you walk up to the car.

“And what is that?” Minho asks.

“There’s only enough room for the normal amount…” Hyunjin states.

You and Minho look at each other and nod.

“I’ll just take the train again. It won’t hurt.” You say, shrugging and beginning to walk away. However, Minho grabs your hand and pulls you closer to him.

“I don’t want you to leave yet. We can make this work.” He says, giving you a pouty look.

You nodded and climbed in beside Felix who was sitting beside Changbin. Minho followed, closed the door and sat incredibly squished beside you. You were uncomfortable, so you knew that he was.

“Min-Min, why don’t you just sit on my lap?” You ask, knowing it would be slightly more comfortable for the two of you. Also it meant you wouldn’t be squishing Felix.

Minho almost instantly got up and got comfortable sitting on you.

“Aww, look how cute they are. Who confessed first?” Jisung asks, causing you both to get wide and scared looks to appear on your faces.

“Confessed what?” You ask, pretending to be confused.

“That you two like each other and have this entire time? Also, it’s about time because you two are adorable together.” Chan says, giving you an all-knowing look.

You, however, are sending daggers towards Chan. Literal daggers. He doesn’t seem to get the hint. So, you just hide your face in Minho’s back instead, arms wrapped around his waist. Before you know it, you are back at your home and not wanting to leave the boys, but they have things to do for JYP.

Minho gets up off your lap to let you out. You begin to walk towards your main door to unlock, but are gently pull away by Minho.

“I have something to tell you.” He says, looking you straight in the eyes.

“Yes, love?” You ask, not knowing what he could be getting at.

“Y/n, I have liked you for quite some time now. Chan wasn’t wrong. I just feel like I need to finally get that off my chest. It’s ok if you don’t feel that same, but I just…” He begins until you cut him off by throwing your arms around him.

“I’ve liked you for almost as long as I have known you, and I just thought you didn’t or wouldn’t like me that way. Thank you!” You say, feeling tears begin to spring up from hearing this news. He hugs you tightly and has you pull away from his body.

“I’m so glad you feel that same. That’s such a relief that my feelings aren’t one sided. Ok, not to break the moment, but the guys and I have to go and do some stuff for JYP. I’ll see you later.” He says, patting your head and running towards the car with a huge smile on his face.

You smiled going into your home, now knowing that you and Minho actually have a chance together.

I also have an idea about a story I originally wrote as a 5 seconds of summer story, but I want to switch it over to a kpop story to continue writing.

Please, please for the love of god- If i write someone with a personality that they do not actually have, do not, and I mean DO NOT message me saying that you do not agree with how I wrote someone. I have seen this done, and I just don’t agree with treating someone like crap because of how someone was portrayed This is a work of fiction and my writing, so I will write how I want this character to act in the story/imagine/oneshot. Also in the past I have written stories to the point of literally hating that said character. I actually just reread some of the stories, and I can tell you right now, I was still angry and upset with them. Sorry to Calum Hood and Zico, but you all were the jerk wads in the stories.

By the way- I suck at writing smut.

I’m sure I’ll have some extra stuff at some point, but right now that’s all I have.
