Im two thirds in The Final Empire and its one of the greatest fantasy book ive read ever. Took me long enough (the Red Rising obsession wouldnt leave). Sanderson did not disappoint the woldbuilding is crazy and i love the characters sm🙂‍↕️ Theres so much mistery surrounding Kelsier and the pits of Hathsin I cant for the life of me figure out whether Mare really did betray him or if its just a ploy of the Lord Ruler. ALSO the Lord Ruler’s book??? INSANE!!!!! ´Sometimes I worry that I’m not the hero everyone thinks I am’ yeah Im sure. Vins awesome too, I really enjoy her self discovery quest. Not even mentioning the fact that shes a badass mc — though her pining over Elend is hilarious lmao. Love the magic system, the political dimension and the LAYERS in each and every characters’ actions. May Kelsier survive i beg. Ill be devastated if he doesnt.

Will definitely read the entire mistborn series and every single one of sandersons books tbh

the way newt started calling thomas Tommy out of nowhere and no one questioned it makes me genuinely ill. its like neither of them realized it and just fell back into routine bc it was just how it was before the maze,, like a habit so engraved in their beings that it transcended wickeds memory manipulation. and dont even get me STARTED on the entire plot of The Fever Code this book destroyed me. i think abt that one chapter where thomas helps newt see his little sister for the first time in years on a daily basis. and the fact that thomas went into the maze for newt? yeah. "newt and the others" yeah. AND the entire scene with newt telling thomas about his suicide attempt, not knowing that thomas had witnessed it all in real time behind the cameras? YEAH.
