We gave a beautiful tribute to two fallen angels, Kobe and Gianna Bryant, at the Staples Center on Monday morning. The greater Los Angeles community came together to pay their respects to the legacy of one of the greatest basketball players our generation has ever known. We are still very grieved but tremendously honored to have had the opportunity to perform Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata for Vanessa Bryant, as it was a piece that Kobe learned to play as his gift to her. We are very thankful to @aliciakeys, @adamblackstone and @bassicblack for the opportunity, music director @babebrice, arranger @winslowdynasty, and to all of the string players and production team who helped to make this performance seamless and heartfelt. Our hearts go out to the friends and family of the fallen and hope that this musical tribute reflects the light that both Kobe and Gianna left with us.
