So the good news is that my chemistry and English exams went really well. I'm pretty happy with the chem score, though there's a lot to improve in my preparation.

The bad news is that I was rejected from my dream exchange program. HOWEVER the good news there is that it's not because my application wasn't good, it's because I didn't meet the age criteria (too young). So, honestly, I'll take it. At least my anxiety can shut up now.

Next is physics, in three days. Not much to do beyond practise and revision of formulae.

In the next week, my reference books for 2024 and a book stand will be delivered, so I'm (naïvely) excited about getting to work on annotations and digitalising my notes in the month after midterms.

I know it's probably not a big deal and nothing will happen, but I accidentally added 5 extra days to my internship workdays on a form that was sent to my school's internship department. They likely won't say anything, but I'm just so tired of myself. I feel like everything is going to go wrong, and I’m worried I won't be able to meet the graduation obligation

🧋: 새로운 공부 시작/ The day I start studying English again

Yesterday, I finally sat down at the last minute and finished the work I had been putting off for 3 weeks. It only took me about an hour. I can’t believe it, and I’m so frustrated with myself for stressing out and procrastinating for weeks. It only took 45 minutes to an hour—seriously!

It's a rainy day. Even though it's almost 2pm, it feels like 6 in the evening. I don't feel like doing anything. It feels like the day is already over.

The cat belongs to our neighbor and she really loves to cuddle, but of course food is her main priority! 😅😂 On the right is our elderflower/elderberry, this year we will make jam out of it since we already have plenty of elderflower syrup. It's super hot in my country, I can't wait for this heatwave to be over. 🥵

What I did the past few days:

Read articles on "der Spiegel"

Listened to the German news on the radio (downloaded an international radio app where I can listen to all sorts of radio stations)

Read "Sense and Sensibility" by Jane Austen

Replied to my German pen pal (we are writing to each other in German and I see that as a good opportunity to work on my reading/writing comprehension)

Started doing puzzles and playing Sudoku to keep the mind fresh

Reviewed a grammar lesson and highlighted the most important info (I wanted to make notes, but I didn't, because I felt tired)
