it’s so odd to go back and read through my messages with her. we used to talk daily, and now we only message on christmas and birthdays. that’s the other odd thing; just how much i remember about her. her favorite shows, everything that happened at home with her, her birthday. and she remembers the same about me. it just drives me crazy how we had so much that just vanished over night. in less than 24 hours, a friendship that had been so strong for the past two years, just gone. the last time i saw her, it felt like nothing changed between us. plenty had, but there was this illusion that we were back in 7th grade history, laughing so hard our teacher thought we were insane. or the time i was late to school one morning and she waited by my locker until i showed up. there was just such a love there that i don’t think i’ll ever find again. i hope she feels the same about me.
