So I’m sure this has been done before but i love the idea of an undertale mermaid au. Maybe called Undersea?

Everyone is a mer-creature of some sort and were banished by the mermaids/men to live deep in a trench on the ocean floor. Frisk is swimming in a dangerous zone one day and gets swept up in a strong current and pulled down into the trench. 

IDK i really like drawing mermaids... more character designs to come maybe?

So I’m thinking of all those fics where the monsters go to the surface but people are awful and racist so they have to live in super run down apartments and barely survive. Sans has to work like 3 jobs just to afford this dump for him and Papyrus and its still barely enough. They can’t afford heating so in the winter the two share a futon for warmth.
