Oh its been a minute since i've done any warriors content but i do love Kestrelflight sooo,,,,i shall make an exception~

Kestrelflight uses He/They ~

While i love the headcanon that Kestrelflight is Harespring(Bounce?? I never know which one it is) and Heathertail's brother, he gives off the most "Only child" vibes i've ever felt on a warriors character.

Which is also why I headcanon Kestrel as really wanting to befriend or at least be on decent terms with the other medicine cats. As an apprentice they really idolized what little of the relationship (Platonic or Romantic or Both) between Mothwing and Leafpool he could see during half moon gatherings. He tried with Jayfeather but we all know how that went...(Seriously Jay just hates kestrelflight for NO reason, like dude c'mon) He just wants to friends with his,,,co-workers? But feels like they might view him as childish or not as experienced as the rest of them due to...

Kestrelpaw had a pretty,,,,unorthodox apprenticeship with Barkface, due to the fact that his mentor was the oldest in the clans and was likely to kick the bucket at any moment, Kestrelpaw had the shortest apprenticeship of all of the PO3 medicine cat apprentices. Barkface was a very kind mentor to them but while he was making sure Kestrelpaw Understood everything he rarely gave them anytime to really explore any of the nuances of his role. By the time he was given his full name Kestrelflight understood the broad strokes of his position and barely anything else before Barkface passed away.

Barkface was also rather protective of his apprentice as well. A few of the other medicine cats protested his choice AND his decision to speed run their training but Barkface argued it was for the best. He wasn't going to leave Kestrelpaw wanting for information or lacking the skill/ability to do his best. (Which Kestrel adopts when he gets his own apprentice, although there's thankfully no rush for Whistlepaw.)

Kestrelflight is a restless task do-er. No matter what they're doing they also have to be preforming 2-3 other tasks at them same time. If not, and it isn't and injured or sick clanmate, he's getting up and pacing around his den every other minute. He's got too much energy and not a lot of places to put it most of the time so it's not uncommon to see him making laps around the camp or deciding his stores need rearranging suddenly.

Antpelt's death was the biggest blow to Kestrel's confidence and belief in himself. He had no idea what went wrong or how he could've saved Antpelt, even now that he knows why he can't help but blame himself a little bit. I feel like this would be partially why he didn't take an apprentice for so long.

MEET THE PROTAGONISTS 2 BUT BETTER

Hey y'all! It's been a minute huh?

If you couldn't tell I've kind of fallen out of Warrior Cats a bit, I'm sure at some point I might get roped back in or maybe not but who's to say. Anyways, I was recently reached out to on my other blog about possibly selling some old Hypothetical Kitten designs I'd done in the past and I'm really considering it!

I designed 30+ kittens during that time, and that's not including the cats I thought would have more than one kitten or litter. I'm probably never going to use these again and if I can give them to a new home I'd really like too! Plus, I'm in the middle of trying to move and extra money would be reeaaallly helpful. So I think I'm going to test it out by selling the first 4 kittens I made! If anyone remembers, they were a MothPool kit, a pair of ShadowRoot kits and a Squirrelflight/Moonlight kitten!

At some point during the next week I'll be posting the designs (with some fancy new art) with some prices in mind and you guys can have at it! If you have any questions or inquiries about other designs let me know! Thank you for ready and have a good one!

New Dovewing design wdyt?? I like making Hollyleaf and Dovewing have visible parallels since, you know, they are parallels in the story (or at least they have opposing feelings when it comes to the prophecy, Holly desperately wanting to be apart of it to the point it ruins her life vs Dove desperately wanting nothing to do with it because it is running her life/relationships) anyways, I kind of wanted to draw an almost fully white Dovewing after seeing a 'Persephone ' MAP call for her and was inspired.
