A few stills from my tricked out trap performance at @somad.nyc last week Wednesday. All of the work, performances, videos as well as painting and sculptures were magnificent. Todays my first full day here! Such a beautiful space such wonderful and talented folks . The 2022 Art Mamas Residencies at STONELEAF RETREAT In support of Art Mamas Members in desperate need of a break from the daily grind to focus on their practice, themselves, or a specific project, #ArtMamasAlliance @artmamasalliance and #stoneleafretreat @stoneleafretreat created two inaugural residencies this year. This summer, a Family and a Group Residency, will be held at STONELEAF RETREAT’s 22-acre property in Upstate New York where Art Mamas Members will be provided with time, space, and a modest stipend. Im posting these waaaay after the fact but #FaithRingold 's retrospect was beautiful. I saw her retrospective at a different New museum location, Broadway I think. .. or was it Chelsea, where were the in 98? I've been a fan of her work for ever,, taught art lessons inspired by her work. I remember meeting her in the early nineties at one of Danny Simmons gatherings.
