Enough with the Conflict... Still on the C's in the #PS2AtoZ with the #Conflict Series ranging from 2002 to 2005 with the titles I have in my collection. These games were definitely my Dad's jam... Much like the Navy Seals series - he was quite big on strategy games generally speaking, but strategy shooters were among his favourites during the PS2 era. This is definitely a genre that I have always enjoyed watching people play - who know what they're doing 🤣 With that said, I actually do enjoy these titles too and I would say #ConflictVietnam is probably my favourite from the bunch. Phone Home... You've seen the movie (a hundred times) but have you played any of the games? You can include the one that is buried in the desserts of the North America's 😉 Anyway... It's time for #etextraterrestrial in the #PS1AtoZ which was released in 2002. It's been a while and I never finished what I started, so here we are again with an insight into my PlayStation 1 collection. As ever, please feel free to join in. We've seen some great collections and it would be great to see more. E.T. on PS1 is an oddity, an isometric adventure game that takes place on several planets where you gather resources to complete the levels. The design is partly pre-rendered graphics with those really blocky looking 3D character designs. It features some nice sound effects and very long load screens... Like really long. I threw in a disc pic for pic 2 which can go into the #ShowMeYourDiscPics vault. This is a game that I first caught wind of via my buddy @king_lizzard - he said it wasn't actually all that good compared to so many other Capcom Vs SNK fighters, but who could resist that disc art.
