सत्य समक्ष न आया

क्यूं कथोपथन विराम हुआ

बस एक सवेरे अकस्मात

क्यूं अंतस मन विरान हुआ।

मन से मन की बात हुई

स्वतः स्वयं पर धिक्कार हुआ।

युवा हृदय में भय रूपी

प्रस्तर खंड विकराल हुआ।

आप बीती जब कही - सुनी

तब कष्टों का आभास हुआ।

अनुकंपी शब्दों का ढांचा

इस भांति तैयार हुआ।

नयनजल फूट पड़े,

ऐसा फिर विलाप हुआ।

घोर घटा छाई हो जैसे

धरती का उद्धार हुआ।

नव सिंचित पथ पर

आत्म - मिलन साकार हुआ।

पराकाष्ठा की वेला में

हृदय गगन का श्रृंगार हुआ।
