I feel like one of the hardest parts about being aro is that we’re told we’re missing out on the most amazing feelings life has to offer. That there’s nothing that can compare to the feeling of falling in love. That the feeling of connection, the dizzy ecstasy, the contentedness, the feeling of a moment lasting forever, and wanting it to never end, is pure, unadulterated bliss, and can only be found when staring into the eyes of “The One”, your romantic soulmate. For aroaces we also don’t get the bliss that sex is supposed to be. But you know what? Fuck that! I’ve felt bliss. I’ve felt it when getting ideas for creative projects faster than I could write them down, when my imagination told me I could make so many beautiful things; I’ve felt it when belting out the songs that make my chest ache, not caring how many notes I miss; I’ve felt in while riding a roller coaster, bright sun in my face and wind in my hair; I’ve felt it rolling down grassy hills like a kid again, smelling clovers and getting grass stains on my jeans; I’ve felt it riding my bike, going as fast as my legs could carry me, feeling strong and free and alive; I’ve felt it when my family piled on my mom’s bed to collectively snuggle my cat and I stuck my face in his warm fluffy belly and he made indignant meep sounds; I felt it when playing that game with friends, where you choose a star to stare at and spin around while focusing on it, then try to run towards a target but dizziness makes you stumble until everyone is on the ground laughing, staring at the stars and feeling infinite; I’ve felt it when I dance, glitter on my face and fluffy skirts swishing around my knees every time I spin; I’ve felt it when reading a book that feels like it was made for me, and I can’t put it down until I realize the sun’s rising already; I’ve felt it in the spring when the sun comes out, everything smells bright and fresh and new, and world seems to come alive again, filled with hope.

There are so many ways to feel bliss. Life gives us so many opportunities for happiness, no matter who or how you love. Find those things and cherish them. They’re yours, they count, and they’re so important and beautiful.

I just quit my job bc they were absolute jerks about my disability and the hours I needed to work. They had me working overtime, and 10+ hour shifts. Both of which kill me. Not to mention it was a hostile work environment, with a manipulate and asshat boss.

I’m not sure how long I’ll be out of work, because soon I’ll have to be going to court and wont been able to work until after then.

I'm confused, but then again who's not. I've had these thoughts recently on whether or not I'm bi or asexual. Like I can do things like sexual rps and read smutty things but the idea of getting touched by someone else just makes me uncomfortable. So basically I dont know if I count or not. Can you help?

It’s not about whether you “count,” it’s about how you identify. There’s no one right way to be asexual- it’s different for everyone.

What you’ve described sounds like touch repulsion, which doesn’t necessarily have anything to do with asexuality. Asexuality, like all other sexual orientations, is about sexual attraction. So the question is: do you feel sexual attraction? It can be very difficult to figure out, but that’s what I’d recommend focusing on. This website has good information on sexual attraction.

It really sucks being a 2005 baby like we just barely missed the “golden age” of Disney and we’re slightly too old to be a Jake pauler or anything like the only good show that we have is spongebob but even that is like 03&04 (and later obviously). We are too accustomed to gun violence so we can’t like go and do stereotypical teenager things like walk around town at night in fear of getting shot, kidnapped, or raped. just being born at that time sucks ass man all we have are dark and dank memes like we get yelled at by our parents for staying in all the time but like it’s to scary to go out. 2005 baby’s have some of the most inconvenient birthday it sucks.

Okay, so I've seen a lot of stuff where Trip and Virus are really nice and a cute couple with Aoba, but having played the game, I do not see it.

I mean, even in the Anime they wiped his memory and betrayed him (to be fair, Mink is also a lot worse in the game), and in the game both of their endings are bad ones - except (spoiler alert) in one Aoba gets eaten and raped, and in the other Aoba gets raped and turned into a toy.

How do you turn that into a loving relationship?

In both the game and the anime Mink is a dick, Noiz is a bit of a brat, Koujaku is awesome (not including his bad ending), Clear is a sweetheart (again without his bad ending), Ren is.. Ren, and Virus and Trip are both assholes.

Going from this, only Koujaku, Clear, Ren and Noiz should be considered.

We can then disqualify Ren on the basis that he is a dog, leaving us with Koujaku, Clear and Noiz.

Noiz is young, but as he does try to clear up his attitude (and even his bad ending's not that bad) he can be considered suitable for a relationship.

Koujaku is just an awesome dude, and also a childhood friend, (honestly his bad ending won't change my feelings on him) so he can also be considered suitable.

Clear, while I hate his bad ending, is otherwise suitable for a relationship if you ignore the fact he is technically immortal and so would be very upset when he outlives Aoba.

Frankly, I just really don't like Mink in the first place (especially after the game and OVA) -this is just my opinion, if you like him I see why but I just don't -, Ren is adorable as both human and dog but I just can't see it actually working, I do like Virus and Trip (they are very interesting characters) but quite obviously they should stay the hell away from Aoba, and the others are alright.

But yeah, have the people who make Virus/Aoba/Trip fluff seen the OVA, anime or anything from the game? It just does not work. At all.

I almost forgot about Mizuki - I love the guy, he is also suitable. His backstory is just so interesting.

As a nonbinary aroace, this wouldn't really effect me badly. If anything, it would help me with seeing how to look more androgynous like I want.
