I'd like to talk about something that's been on my mind a lot recently, and it's something that I've been meaning to bring up.

Littles! Stop taking advantage of CGs!

I'm tired of being taken advantage of by littles who only want someone to coo at them and say nice things and someone who they can dump their trauma on randomly (this is not in relation to my last post. I don't mind if people come to me for advice or for a place to vent, but I need them to ask first!). I want someone who wants a 3 dimensional relationship! Where we are friends first and then we move on to being in a agere relationship. But I get so many littles who claim to be looking for a caregiver, but they only ever want to talk while they are little, and aren't interested in taking it slow and building that very special relationship between carer and little.

I'm not some person who has infinite energy, I'm not some person who is a fanfic where I'm always ready to listen to your worries and anxieties, I'm not this flat, 1 dimensional person who can fit your fantasies of a cg.

I'm a human too, who wants a relationship with the littles I meet /p. Please, littles, please stop taking advantage of online cgs. We aren't your fictional story book that you can leave and come back when you feel like it. We have feelings too, and it's not fair that you play on our natural caring nature.

I haven't slept in a couple days, and now big bro is dealing with dysphoric bleeding stuff. Sorry I haven't been around, the love and support I immediately got making this blog is deeply appreciated but also a lil overwhelming for me when i'm not medically doing super great.

Remember kiddos, I am bodily an adult and a caregiver, but I'm also a teen/middle regressive caregiver at that. I am not like mom or dad, I can't always be around cuz I'm also a kid too. And sadly, I'm a pretty sick kid :/

Big bro wants to sit and play games with all of you, you're all so kind to me already. I'll post as much as I can, and still feel free to send asks and dms but don't be too bummed out if I don't reply day-of.

 💭  Teen + carer who are both equally confused by their homework

 💭  Teen who would rather be alone than coddled but loves their carer all the same

 💭  Teen + pet who hang out at parks late at night together

 💭  Teen who calls their carer "dude" , "bro" , "girlie" etc. And gets chastised for it

 💭  Teen who has to get reminded of proper language appropriate for their siblings

 💭  Teen who teaches their siblings memes and bad words behind their carers back

 💭  Teen who is a carer and has a carer simultaneously

 💭  Teen who has to awkwardly ask their carer about adult stuff

(Another) friendly reminder!

You are NOT a bad caregiver if…

You’re too exhausted, stressed, tired, emotionally unstable, just not feeling well enough to take care of your little!

You aren’t expected to be there for your little 24/7/365 on demand! You’re a person! You can care for yourself too <3

You also age regress (whether voluntary or not) and need a moment to regress yourself!

No one expects all regressors to be big 24/7! Just because you’re a big kid and are able to take care of others sometimes, doesn’t mean you have to take care of others ALL the time <3 you’re also still a kid.

You accidentally snap at your little

Accidents happen. You can apologise and make up for it. Mistakes are what make us human, imperfections are beautiful. Yes, snapping isn’t good— but that doesn’t make you a bad person.

You forget to remind your little about certain things

Again! Accidents happen! You didn’t mean to do anything, did you? Then let this be a lesson for next time! If you didn’t intend it, no need to beat yourself up for it.

You have absolutely no idea what you’re doing

We’ve all been there. The only way to learn is to try— It’s going to be scary, it’s going to be overwhelming, it’s going to be hard. But it will always get better eventually.

You have boundaries

Boundaries are what make relationships healthy! Any and all relationships need boundaries! I cannot stress this enough!!!! Aren’t comfortable with being called mommy? Say that! Aren’t comfortable with certain little activities? Say that! Your comfort matters here too!

You try your best

Your best is all that anyone can ask from you— there will be times where you don’t feel like you can give your best, and that’s okay too!!! Give however much energy you can, I assure you, your little(s) will appreciate this anyway!

As long as you don’t intentionally put your little(s) in harm or uncomfortable situations, you are doing a good job. Don’t worry <3

any tips for finding caregivers safely !?!? i'm having the hardest time ever.. it's like they're nonexistent

 ⭐️ best advice i can give : stop looking so hard !

when you go into any relationship looking for a caregiver or little , you completely jump over the part of genuinely wanting to get to know someone and being their friend before anything else .

when you rush into trusting someone to be your caregiver / little you can put yourself in a lot of danger and in sticky situations !

the first real caregiver i had i went to school with for years and had been friends with for a good few months prior , the people who have babysat me over the years have only been my closest friends .

when littles rush into wanting caregivers and finally meet one , i know personally and others feel discouraged to get to know them over the fear of only being wanted because of their agere role , which is a very real possibility in those situations !

especially as a minor these things are very important , id reccomend not doing " looking for caregiver " posts or going on matchmaking accounts / servers . everyone is a stranger ! please look for caregivers in people you trust or already know .

even if you have to explain agere and the role of a caregiver to them , having a new - caregiver friend will always be better than an experienced caregiver stranger .

 ⭐️ my final advice ? find friends in the community . look for friends , NOT roles ! when natural positive relationships form , then you can ask about having another type of relationship alongside . please make sure you really trust these people !

good luck to anyone who hopes to have a little , caregiver , pet , or handler one day ! i personally would love to find another flip to be friends / regression / carer mates with so i understand the struggle but please do not skip steps in your enthusiasm !

 ✦ a moment of truth for me ! i've been an age regressor for about 5-6 years, give or take , i used to be in some reg communities when i was younger but largely kept my regression offline with friends only. because of this blog , however , i realized i have to be more " in the know " about the communities so if you see some of my tag / posting habits change , know it's because im sorting my thoughts as i go along and seeing what labels and spaces work best for this blog and for me !

 ✦ this blog is generally very non-personal , i see myself as an imaginary / fictional cg when im here , playing up a persona , so this will maybe be more apperent when i launch my regressed blog !
