Keeping this going...if the Resident Evil characters had quirks, what would they be? I have a few ideas....

Chris Redfield: he can manipulate his mass (size and density). Punches things in the face, punches boulders, etc.

Leon Kennedy: I'm thinking accelerated healing? I feel like it suits his character to have a useful, non-combat Quirk. It's how he's survived all the shit from the games and movies.

Rebecca Chambers: alchemy. Or something like it. She can manipulate atoms at the atomic level, which is how she can whip up anti-virus, countervirus, and vaccines so quickly.

Jill Valentine: mechanical technomancy. She can understand any gun or weapon by touch, and manipulate certain mechanisms as befits a master of unlocking.

I'm a little stuck on Claire Redfield. If Chris can manipulate his own density, maybe she can manipulate the density of something she touches? Inanimate objects only. Wouldn't work on zombies, tyrants, nomu, etc,

I think I got bit by something and now my brain keeps plotting out an MHA/RE crossover.

Tyrants and lickers instead of nomu

Quirks are almost exclusive to Japan and might be linked to a mutation of the virus

Leon Kennedy never gets his vacation

All Might and Chris Redfield reminisce about punching boulders

Erasure doesn't work on zombies...but that's never stopped Aizawa before

I don't know why, but I feel like Jill and Fat Gum would click instantly and be an epic team (He's running around with her perched on his shoulders firing grenades or something, telling Aizawa he finally got one he can't adopt away from him)

They say the body remembers what the mind forgets, but for Lu Guang it feels like the opposite. Some days the phantom pains of injuries from other timelines leaves him bedridden, and Cheng Xiaoshi tries to help as best he can.

Qiao Ling has been trying to perfect the powers she inherited from Li Tianxi, but it's slow going. But when Captain Xiao comes to them with a personal request, it might just be the push she needs.

Please have a moment of silence for the people who were killed instead of freed when news of emancipation finally reached the furthest corners of the american south.

have another moment for the ledgers, catalogs, and records that were burned and the homes that were destroyed to hide the presence of very much alive and still enslaved people on dozens of plantations and homesteads across the south for decades after emancipation.

and have a third moment for those who were hunted and killed while fleeing the south to find safety across the border, overseas, in the north and to the west.

black people. light a candle, write a note to those who have passed telling them what you have achieved in spite of the racist and intolerant conditions of this world, feel the warmth of the flame under your hand, say a prayer of rememberance if you are religious, place the note under the candle, and then blow it out.

if you have children, sit them down and tell them anything you know about the life of oldest black person you've ever met. it doesn't have to be your own family. tell them what you know about what life was like for us in the days, years, decades after emancipation. if you don't know much, look it up and learn about it together.
