i think the only delight jason gideon would find in having a cellphone would be the merlin bird id app - i'd like to believe it's slowing down his phone by taking up so much storage space - hours and hours of bird calls recorded

also of note would be his contacts, which include full names and completely serious profile pictures of his coworkers

he has a chess app too but he hated it so much that he ragequit and then didn't know how to uninstall it

until dawn day - pt 2 electric boogaloo

i cannot stress to you how many plans i had for today, how many versions of said plans i went through, before they all fell through

i think that's one of the tough things about being neurodivergent that i've had to come to accept about myself - about 95% of the things i become engrossed and passionate about won't end up coming to fruition - but it's the 5% of things that *do* that i should focus on

i had this grand idea to film an entire playthrough of the game until dawn based solely on chance, it was supposed to be a commentary on the idea of predetermination, and i spent most of my spring break working on it i wanted to produce a 10 hour video by april 25 so people could have an alternate movie to watch

then life got in the way, i did manage to film everything, but i didn't have time to edit it alongside my college classes, so i had to give up on the idea even telling myself "well i'll just edit an hour of the footage and post that" ended up failing too

i eventually switched tactics and decided i could finish the art of detachment (my prequel fanfiction) - i only had 4 more chapters to write, i had the plot planned out, it was doable... or so i thought

in the end, i didn't create my 10 hour video, or my 1 hour video, or finish either of my fanfictions but i did manage to write and post one chapter, and for now, i should focus on that success!

YIPPEE IT'S HERE! i don't know if i'm gonna watch the movie tbh

there were a handful of people who came to see it when i was on shift yesterday, and it took every ounce of willpower i've ever had not to start yapping their ears off

oh you're going to see until dawn? wow that's crazy i definitely haven't heard anything about it and i for sure haven't written two fanfictions about it, this is something i am very normal about, that will be $11 for each ticket and your right kidney for the popcorn :)
