More often than not, in life we take twos steps forward and one step back, things don’t always work out the way we hope they will.
Giving ourselves grace is one of the best things we can do to help us continuously work towards our desires. It’s even one of the key factors in building resiliency.
It’s easy to skip this step when emotions are running high or when theres an important deadline. But taking the time to offer yourself and others some grace when a mistake is made can make the diffrence between giving up and getting stuck or trying a new approach to reach your goals.
Here’s my take on how to start giving yourself a little bit of grace the next time you slip up.

I wrote this post after I finally worked up the courage to ask for exactly what I wanted. I am now living my dreams with an amazing partner, my kids are happy and healthy and i am thriving and radient with joy. ♥️
The scariest part of anything is being open and vulnerable with your desires and shortcomings. Admitting where you are at right now and where you truly want to go, can be terrifying.
Especially if you believe you will be mocked, rejected or abandoned.
Fear holds us back from some of our biggest dreams in life. If we don’t ask, we will never recieve what we desperately desire.
Are you brave enough to show your true colours? To ask for what you want and be open about where you are now?
Find out more about how you can overcome the fear that keeps you stuck in this blog post.
😊 I hope it helps inspire you to reach your goals, dispight how scary it feels.

I have been spending some time reflecting lately on all my past works, blog posts, journals, paintings, habits. Anything I’ve created in the last five years.
I felt called to do so because 5 years ago, was the beginning of a pandemic. 5 years ago I was unknowingly on the cusp of leaving an abusive relationship. 5 years ago Both my kids were still not in school yet. 5 years ago my chonky cat was a wee baby kitten sleeping in my shirt. 5 years is so long, yet so short. I blinked and it was 2025.
I also started my blog 5 years ago, I am so glad I decided to keep writing. I found this gem while revisiting my earliest posts.
I think it’s still very relevant today, patience is importantly you never know what will happen next. And time may feel like it’s taking forever in the moment but, you look away for a moment and half a decade goes by.
Wishing you all patience, presence and peace.

Today I have a little inspiration from Matthew McConaughey’s book Green lights.
We often hear people saying “Aim high and you won’t be disappointed if you land short” this is true in some senses but a better way to think about it is to “Be the Target” the target attracts the arrow, without the target the arrow is aimless. Be authentic in order to attract what is right for you specifically. If you are lacking authentic relationships in your life, this is a good place to start.
Show up as the version of you that you want to be, not who everyone else wants you to be and what’s meant for you will come.

It’s you against yourself, if you can learn how to get out of your own way, the world is yours. We are only human and as humans we are entirely too hard on ourselves, so much so that it creates road blocks to our success.
Read my latest post for pointers on how to get out of your own way and reach you goals faster.

Today’s post is inspired by Germany 🇩🇪 I’ve been learning the language for the last year and a bit. This is one of my favorite phrases that I’ve learned. “Now we have the salad.” Meaning now everything’s a mess and it cannot be undone. Much like when you toss a salad. 😄
I explore this phrase and one of its possible applications, for when we misunderstand and miscommunicate with each other, resulting in a break in connection.
I also discuss how we can recognize when we will end up in a messy situation and what to do if we find ourselves with the salad 🥗

My latest post is a bit more personal than my last few.
I wanted to share the lessons I learned while rebuilding my life after royally screwing it up. It takes a-lot of courage to rebuild your life when you realize you don’t like the one you are living.
Everyone makes mistakes, what matters is we learn from them. I hope a quick read might help someone feel less alone.

Consistent Imperfect Action
Success is not an overnight magic trick, but the result of consistent, imperfect action. Embrace the messy middle, learn from mistakes, and keep moving forward. Ditch the pressure of perfection and focus on progress. If feeling stuck, consider seeking help to navigate roadblocks and turn dreams into reality.

"Jesus take the Wheel"
Love that song, it truly speaks to the surrender that is necessary to accept that, you cannot control everything and you can only do so much as one person…
