Mlaal 2 is insane with all the sweet Anchwoo it's giving us we got, "You'll never understand the type of connection we have, pitiful loser." We got "and you cant even take care of his body?" We got "We're a team." We got "I didn't think I'd ever say this... but I think you've changed, Ancheol." ... Plus the fact they live together seemingly alone, eat with eachother, change around eachother, protect one another, worry about eachother. They are both just so endearing and cute i adore it.

However none of that will match up to Ancheol!Jinu going "Don't worry, you don't have to do anything. Just give yourself to me." Proceeded by Jinu!Ancheol saying "C-Can you be gentle". There is so much more to it and honesty? It isn't better in context.

Jinu and Ancheol, both 21, find themselves in "Squid Game" after both falling into crippling debt (Ancheol after his phone shop fails and he bets all his money with Gitae, Sangmin, and Hangyu, who are also all in games. Jinu after he fails to find work because he can't get into college and begins taking out loans to pay off his apartment, food, etc.)

During the glass game, Ancheol is at the point of being infront with Jinu behind him, and Ancheol says if Jinu doesn't go infront of him, he will push him off himself (bluffing). Jinu jumps onto Ancheols platform because the man behind him starts to get angry and begins yelling at Ancheol about how he can't tell him what to do because they are both equal in these games and how the things he is saying doesn't threaten him because he isn't as scary as the guards (meanwhile shaking in fear) and Ancheol tries to calm him down as he gets agitated but Jinu just loses his footing and falls off the glass to which he does his whole "I hate you, Ancheol. I curse you even in death." spiel. Ancheol then wakes up in Jinus body just prior to joining the games and ghost Jinu says he does indeed have to go through with the games and keep him alive all while fixing relationships inside the games and make himself realise he is dirt of the world.

FYI at this point, all the main cast are dead like Seulgi Dabin Jinsol etc. These would represent thr 4 fml incidents.

During this, Spookkim will be helping Ancheol try save some of the other players (main cast) which, by pure bullshittery, actually works, and him and past Ancheol are the only players left for the Squid Game.

I think the Squid Game is a good parallel to the end fight in mlaal and it means Spookkim can take control for a bit to let out his anger like he did in the manhwa. I think just before Ancheol!Jinu kills his past self in shame and anger he will get woken up from his faze and instead call the game quits so they both leave without the money. After they leave they leave Jinu would go AWOL and Ancheol would write his book. Jinsol gets into a police academy because she has support of friends and nice hearing aids Ancheol bought her which makes her feel more confident (in this the events of highschool aren't fixed and instead things are mended post repercussions. ) Dabin works at a sandwich shop before Ancheol asks her out and she goes into doing tattoos. Sangmin Hangyu and Gitae all go to prison for gta, whilst Seulgi writes his award winning manga. Mingyu is still Ancheols Gopher.

Jinu then obviously reunites with everyone and writes his book with Ancheol which then leads to mlaal 2 where I guess they'd both go and infiltrate the games again but switched body's.

Jinus glasses have no lenses. Ancheols ends of hair are blonde still but drawing is uncoloured.

Mingyu writes "boobies" in his calculator and Ancheol laughs about it through the whole class. This is some serious work we've got going on...

Jinu canonically had good grades, even on the top of their class.

I always imagined Mingyu still being bald even as a girl, and also I didn't use a refrence for their clothes. Mingyu wears the school uniform skirt but Ancheol is wearing his skirt over his joggers..

Their genderbend names are Ahnjong and then just Mingyu (he doesn't get a new name😒)

I was rereading chapter 40+ of mlaal and... Well... I had some ideas pop up in my head.

Thinking about how the last face Jinu saw when he died was Ancheol, and that he didn't even have the chance to have his life flash before his eyes because he was so caught up on this hatred he had. It breaks my heart thinking about the fact the last thing he saw was the man he despises reaching out to try save him, as if just 3 years Ancheol hadn't pushed Jinu to the brink of ending his life on purpose.

It's such a crazy parallel. At the beginning we see Ancheol running to try catch and warn Jinu from falling off the building, and then near the end we see Ancheol being the reason Jinu Is at the edge of a building in the first place. AGHH! it makes me so sad :((

Of course I have to reblog any my life as a loser fanart I see. This is so beautiful Jinu looks so good... I always loved these two lines because they were so raw, like his life was ending and all he felt was anger. So awesome...

Had finished reading part one of this webtoon a year ago. Ngl I like this webtoon sm, really tugged at my heartstrings. Now there's a part 2 of it (that I did not expect).
