Send me confessions and I won’t post them. Instead I’ll eat them for their power. Header image is Gordan Ramsey looking down with the text, "Finally, some good fucking food." PFP is Pacha from Emporer's New Groove holding up an K sign and a hand, with his eyes closed and with a smile.

I'm gonna be cooking soon and I am going to make it taste like syscourse (chex mix). What food should I put my syscourse seasoning packet on? I know it says the poll ends in a day but in reality it's like an hour before I start cooking so I am just gonna choose whichever has the highest number of votes at that point.

@aspd-goose
To fulfill the challenge set forth by the bracket owner...
I haven't seen many posts from you, but based on what was said, it seems that you have a lot of friends and a lot of people who care about you. That, to me, indicates a person who isn't that bad of a person. In fact, you seem genuinely likeable.
That goes a long way in syscourse.
I am excited to face off against a goose.
Round 1 Side A: Flavor VS Goose
Get your votes in for either @syscourse-flavortown or @aspd-goose! Below the cut are submission info for these two participants!
Good luck and happy voting!
Reminder: These polls are completely subjective. However you define a "better" syscourser, that's how you should vote!
ASPD-Goose was actually nominated by the same individuals who nominated ratinacoat! Someone out there is your mutual and thinks you deserve the spot, and another person thinks you've got some good common sense!
Meanwhile, syscourse-flavortown was actually my nomination. I wanted more folks in the brackets to fill out the slots, and I enjoy the silliness of the blog!

Chef Confetti. Welcome.
Mmm... This tastes like a parfait, but with some peculiar twists. There's particularly sweet fruits, but a mix of chocolate and vanilla yogurt, and it's very rich.
It's a comfort food; something to make you smile and eat more slowly, to enjoy it. I particularly enjoy the graham cracker crumbles inside, rather than granola. It adds a nice, sweet touch.
Rating: ⭐⭐ Worth a detour. What a fantastic, nostalgic memory to bring. I would love to see more <3

I'm sure the tag appreciates it, too, though I think syscourse might be nondenominational.

Well well-
…
That’s a human person. This is neither food nor syscourse. This is…
Resident Evil?
Chef Wesker, this is an odd one, but I don’t… think I’ll be eating that.

Bobert!! Nice to hear from you. What’ve you made for me today?
Ooo, a milkshake. Very interesting.
It’s a bit in the thinner side, very easy to swallow. It’s a lovely vanilla taste… But there’s little chunks of something here…
Peppermint?
Interesting choices!
Rating: ❌ No stars. While the milkshake is lovely, it’s missing substance. The peppermint almost takes it up a notch, but it comes across more sharply than refreshingly! Still, thank you so much for your treat :)

Chef Roomie! I hope your newly spotless kitchen is suiting you well. Lord knows you put a lot of effort into that. Let’s see what dish you’ve prepared for us.
Mmm… this is an interesting dish! A curry, and it looks heavenly. Very spicy smelling, with peas and paneer, but it looks like you’re included cauliflower and broccoli as well. Interesting to have them both, but I’m not complaining.
The heat is a sharp-fade kind; it comes in strong, but as you sit with it, it fades, leaving you wanting to come in for seconds.
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Worth a trip!! I still think there’s area for improvement here — additional dishes to go with it, for the most part — but judging the dish as it is, there should be more people out there tasting this. Thank you for the experience!

Hello, Glitchedlad. Sorry for my long absence; I started to accidentally hibernate because the temperatures dropped to sub-freezing.
Anyways. Let’s see what you’ve brought to the table.
… this is largely syrup. Wait no! That’s a pancake underneath. It’s soft, and fluffy, and genuinely a very solid pancake. But the syrup adds an odd flavor. It’s not your typical syrup. This one is a bit more bitter alongside the sweet, and I think it’s drowning the pancake a bit too much.
Rating: ⭐️ Worth a stop! It’s a bit plain and a bit much in many ways, but for a quick bite? Wonderful work.

Note
gives you a handful of parmesan cheese
Mmm. 🤔
Parmesan Cheese take: More people in syscourse need to incorporate dad jokes into their posts. Make it cheesy, folks. It’ll help people relate. Right?

han ds you a bucket of sea weed
This is not a take. It is a delicious snack.
In exchange for snacks, I will post my own hot (incorrect) takes, equal to the snack provided.
Seaweed bucket take: Most of the people in syscourse are just salty that they do not have buckets of seaweed.

Welcome back, Tad. Thank you for breakfast.
And what a scrumptious breakfast this is. A class cereal with a few marshmallows in it. Keeping with the season, there’s some cinnamon sugar sprinkled on top, and there’s a lovely amount of chocolate syrup drizzled on.
Rating: ⭐️ Worth a stop! Not groundbreaking, but a nice quick meal that feels filling and makes me happy. I definitely think you should try smores though. At least melt the marshmallows!

Our bunny eared chef hops up to the plate! (\/) Let’s see what you have in store…
Ough.
Ugh.
Disgusting. Foul. Horrible. How dare you even consider doing that to a bean. And the fermented ginger?!?! Disgraceful, honestly. I hope the sea creature that vomited this dish up onto the shore has died a merciful death; the poor thing must have been suffering if it had this in its stomach for more than a second.
Thank god we’re just watching it together instead of eating it.
Rating: ❌ No stars. But an A+ for good friendship time, watching that ungodly disaster of a dish undulate on a paper plate.

@okiimii, good to see you, hope you're having a wonderful morning!
Why, how interesting -- this isn't a meal! This is a drink. It's bubbling in an intriguing way, especially for me, a being comprised of 80% soda.
Mmm... It smells delicious, a bit like a vanilla root beer. Sipping it, however, I can taste the distinct taste of orange cream! It's only a little hint of it, but I can't mistake that taste at all.
There's not much substance to it, but the delicious sweetness is natural and rests easily on my stomach.
Rating: ⭐ A delicious little trip! Definitely a nice treat, one I would come back to again and again. I think to improve, it would need to have more to it -- but I think adding more to this and making a full meal around the drink would be doing a disservice in its own right. Maybe it should just be left alone in a quiet area to enjoy with friends.
