Honestly, that’s such a weird trend that Jurassic World started. No dino antagonists died in the Jurassic Park movies (other than Rexy killing the raptors chasing the humans in the first movie but survived herself). I guess it’s because they made hybrids that were super blood-thirsty and couldn’t be left alive, and in Dominion, the Giga has a rivalry with Rexy that came to a deadly conclusion.
Though the ending of Rebirth is weak (gave me vibes of JP3 with the big threatening dinosaur just wandering off), I’m glad the D-Rex was left alive. Big mutated creature who successfully survived and thrived alone for 17 years, happily chilling on its island and not bothering anyone until the humans arrived; it deserves to live in peace. Who knows, maybe they plan on it coming back in a sequel?

Ricardo Delgado, the writer and artist behind the Age Of Reptiles comics, shared this storyboarding art of sauropods on his Instagram June 2025. Could this mean he's working on a new Age of Reptiles comic?! I sure hope so!

Hello, Fellow Dino Fans!
I'm starting this side blog to talk more about my favorite fictional dinosaur titles. I've seen many people wish that there were more fictional stories about dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals besides the dominating presence of Jurassic Park/World. Of course I love those movies, they jumped started my interest in dinosaurs; but there are plenty of other options out there that deserve some spotlight: movies, books, TV shows, games.
So if you're interested in hearing more fun dinosaur stories, I hope you'll enjoy my posts. I love talking about all things dinosaurs so my asks are always open for suggestions or questions.
