"My narcissistic boyfriend" "my friend is such a narcissist" "my ex is so narcissistic"
Where. Do. Y'all. Find. Them. WHERE DO Y'ALL FIND NARCISSISTS IRL. I need irl friends who have npd but I literally haven't met a single person irl who I know is a narc.

It’s always genuinely baffling anytime we hear someone say it’s valid to “become a system for attention”. Why would you want to have a debilitating disorder that so heavily impacts your day to day life?

Something I think needs clarifying or restating in syscourse:
"Anti Endo" doesn't mean we inherently hate you simply for existing. It means we are against the idea that non traumagenic systems exist in the way CDD systems do. We are against the comparison between the two. We are against the idea that your experiences are the same intensity and manifestation as ours. We are against the concept of "all system spaces". We aren't against you believing your experiences to be true. We are against even considering there are similarities. Against the idea that they are indistinguishable from each other.

Apparently this is a hot take but if you don't even know the most basic information on DID then you cannot just self diagnose yourself with it
I've seen wayy to many people ask the most basic every system should know this questions like??? Girl did you even do any research on DID at all????
I'm not anti self diagnose btw, with proper research I don't give a shit it's none of my business
But srsly do more research if your asking the most basic ass questions about how DID works

i remember being deep in the trenches of 2020 systok and constantly coming across this saying that if you developed fictives from recent media you were faking…it always made us think we were faking because our newer splits would sometimes come from new media that we hyperfocused on…(not saying the hyperfocus caused the split) but anyways here i am as a fictive who is from something that came out last month!!😝 -😛

i hate being a system. endos will NEVER understand the pain and trauma we had to go through to be like this and maybe some actual systems dont feel like this but we want final fusion one day. right now being a system keeps us alive but when it doesn't i dont want to deal with this. being a system isnt "hahahahah i have alters im so quirky and different" its a DISORDER and (pro)endos have actively told us we are not a real system simply because we want final fusion. endos FUCK OFF out of our spaces!! you are preventing our healing

“People who claim to be endogenic are misinformed about the nature of systemhood, have most likely buried their traumatic childhood memories, and are usually not just faking” AND “I don’t want endos or their supporters anywhere fucking near me,” are statements that CAN and DO coexist, btw

I learned about how other DID systems experience amnesia and one description has hit the nail on the head. We experience black-out amnesia, but not how it is commonly portrayed online or in media. We do not get confused about where we are, find ourselves in places we do not remember going. We do not notice our amnesia unless we are reminded of it.
Amnesia to us is like digging through sand trying to find the memory in our brain.
I do not recall forgetting something until i am supposed to remember the events. It feels to me like i have experienced every second of every day. I find it difficult to notice memory gaps on my own, and i believe that is partly the point of DID.

my DID experiences (that aren't TMI) are
waking up in an outfit totally different from your preferred style
thinking it's wednesday one day of the week when you're actually 3 days off, not sure if you were gone for three days or more without checking the numbered calendar
people you've never spoken to or even know their name waving to you in hallways
people claiming you go by names you've never gone by a day in your life
forgetting key details about loved ones (favorite shows, their birthdays, eye color)
notes you don't remember making and finding out it's something another part wrote
a part getting into arguments online and leaving you to deal with it not knowing anything about the topic
random flashbacks of my childhood that last for a few minutes, then suddenly go away
parts hiding objects or misplacing them (like the poster we got from a concert that one time...)
finding recordings of yourself that you have no memory of
as you can see, a lot of fucking amnesia
parts voices randomly commenting on things and ruining your concentration
not being able to pick an outfit since different parts in co-front want to wear different things
not being able to remember quarantine due to being stuck at home
most of these happened before we even knew of our system, and we just thought it was normal because it's what we've always known lol

hihi! ty for sharing your experience, i do relate to the alter naming part like it can be super overwhelming for sure and i totally believe alters do not need names to be able to get told apart. but no i am not polyfragmented 💔💔, we’re an OSDD1B sys i believe!! lots of our alters enjoy their identities and names but some of them…just so really care for it 😭😭.
and i felt so heard when you said how confusing that can be for friends and family 😭😭. especially if that friend thinks DID is like how it is on tiktok…😓
guys this might be a dumb and obvious question but like…do some of your alters/parts want to be perceived as separate people and some of them really don’t…? like some of them don’t even want names or pronouns and others like to be completely individual and separate.
on sysblr the normalization of alters being separate people is everywhere but i never see people talk about some of their alters not wanting to be separate from the body. idk if any of that makes sense

idk who needs to hear this but fakeclaiming culture and being violent towards “fakers” is really harmful to people who are questioning whether they have DID/OSDD
