Hey! It's the cover to an upcoming Street Wolves release. I'm going to package up some adventures that were exclusive to the Kickstarter and also add at least one extra.
The art is an homage to Prince's Purple Rain album cover and features the two characters that were on the original Street Wolves cover. The artist is Nataly Zhuk and you can find more of her art here.

Support this group of talented disabled creators! Being disabled brings a lot of extra expenses, and many of us have difficulties getting the support we need. AND we can be an awesome, creative bunch! So this jam was for us to make some amazing things and bundle them together for a good cause (us. It's us). Direct support for disabled creators without a charity as a middle man.
I’ve worked hard to run this, and am putting my heart into all these promotions. I’d love it if enough people decided this was worth it and helped all of us out.

The wait is over, Monster Truckers is here!
Hit the road as a semi truck driving monster. Experience thrills and chills on the open roads of the Worstlands in this easy to learn and quick to play tabletop rpg.
It's now on Backerkit! It's my first Backerkit campaign (3rd overall) and things are going well so far. Honestly though, I'm really hoping to get through the anxiety of "will it fund", so I can just get to making the game.
Truck on over to Backerkit to learn more and check it out!

Monster Truckers Hits 50% and Some Thoughts
Tumblr media
Monster Truckers is my newest game that's funding on Backerkit. It hit 50% a bit early for what it was trending at, and it's very, very likely to get funded if we keep going at this rate.
If you think a role playing game about truck driving monsters exploring a weird and dangerous place called the Worstlands is interesting to you, please, please check it out.
Despite the success we've had this far, it's been an uphill climb for the truckers. It's been really hard to get the word out and while the trends are good, they're not extraordinary.
I'm sure there are a few reasons for this. One being not having a ton of art available. I'm in a bit of a Catch 22 with crowd funders: I can't afford a lot of art to get folks to back until I get the money from the crowd funder to make the art. I have some art, but not a *ton* of art. Nor did I have the funds to pay for actual plays. Or have a finished version of the game to send out to reviewers.
I feel like bigger studios have really spoiled people by the amount of stuff they can see before a product launches. I don't have deep pockets where I can drop a couple thousand bucks on art. I released a free Test Drive, but there's only so much more I can do with what I've got.
Also: The game is not 5E. Nor is it fantasy. Both those things instantly make it less popular than a lot of other things.
I'm sure there other reasons for it not being a smash hit out of the gates, like I bet anything that the economy has slowed to the point where they may hold off from backing a silly game. I mean, if you look at any news right now that seems highly probable.
But anyway, I don't want to come off as too negative. I'm just trying to be realistic. It's tough out there for creative types right now!
Back to plugs! If Monster Truckers sounds interesting, check it out on Backerkit for a whole bunch more details.

I'm not on this site as much as I used to be, but I like coming back here to plug, but with added context. It feels more personal here? So with that...
Monster Truckers: Long Haul into the Worstlands is launching next week. This game is near and dear to my heart, because my dad was a truck driver for many years. I wanted to make a game to both honor him but also to pull on some of the memories I had while riding along with him a couple of times.
This is a rules light, low prep, and easy to learn ttrpg that features players taking the role of truck driving monsters.
They explore a post apocalyptic Worstlands. It's a weird and dangerous place, but they need to make deliveries while scouting. You see, they're ultimately out to find a new home.
Right now there's a good amount of followers and I have high hopes of it funding, but it's got less than half than my last game Street Wolves. I know I could have probably done more Street Wolves stuff, but I really want to branch out and do different things.
Tumblr media
Anyway, the game is going to have five monster types, based on classic movie monsters: Vampire, Werewolf, Zipper (think Frankenstein's monster), Ghost, Mummy, and Gill Folk (think Creature from the lagoon). And there's some rules for how to make your own. For trucking you can have one truck, a convoy, and even have escort vehicles.
There's also some light journaling in the form of a log book and a map making aspect as you draw your route through the Worstlands.
If the idea of truck driving monsters is in any way appealing, please check it out on Backerkit and follow along! You can also get a free test drive version of the game right here. Also please share if you can, every bit helps.

My latest game, Monster Truckers: Long Haul into the Worstlands, is now live on Backerkit. It features semi truck driving monsters tearing it up in an post apocalyptic Worstlands.
Truckers gotta try to make deliveries while battling weird stuff. They get to meet odd characters, see bizarre things, and maybe help a few folks along the way.
It's based on the Tricube tales system, so mechanics wise it's easy as pie to learn and it's super low prep to run. It facilitates quick action and fantastic storytelling.
Oh, and there's some light journaling and map making that test players have loved!
Check out Monster Truckers: Long Haul into the Worstlands on Backerkit if it sounds cool to you. And share with a friend if you can, every bit helps an indie rpg maker like myself.
