Back Moon's Haunted on Kickstarter! Moon's Haunted is a storytelling game for 2 to 6 players about an eclectic crew realizing their mission to the moon is more than it seems.

Gameplay is as easy as drawing a card, answering the question, and rolling the die. Together, you and your friends will create a cast of oddball characters, resolve a series of strange occurrences, and determine whether you can make it back to earth in under an hour of playtime.

It's ideal for those who appreciate both the ease of card games and the storytelling aspects of role-playing games and acts as a great introduction to roleplay and improv for those more familiar with more traditional board games.

ttrpg pacing

one of the things I often see people talk about in relation to pbta games (or non dnd games in general) is that they don't fare as well for extended campaign play and I'm realizing 90% of this is that a dozen sessions in a pbta game is an equivalent level of pacing and story to a years worth of dnd dnd is mostly good for long term play because it takes so damn long to do anything, between long combats and the system lacking any storytelling tools to support the dm, the pacing feels like a crawl compared the the kinds of games I've gotten more used to

We actually made a fun little game out of it by not telling each other the usernames and we had to hunt down the blogs by searching all of Tumblr for the things that happened each session.
