This is my typical gameplan for bugs in my house

_Put cup over bug

-shimmy cardstock from unused mail underneath cup and bug (unless the bug is really jumpy and I get scared, then I skip to step three)

-Yell for little sister or brother to pick up said bug to take back outdoors while also yelling (lovingly) at them that killing them is not rad under any circumstances, 9/10 times they listen

I love bugs and hate kiiling them because... they have lives too, but GESUS never catch me holding one, even with some barrier in between, I love them, but I can't touch

Hot 4am take but I feel like if we want to get people more interested in making their yards a more habitable space for wildlife like insects, we have to acknowledge that ‘Don’t want bugs in your house’ is still a 100% fair and valid point of view. ‘Loves nature’ and ‘doesn’t want roaches spiders and mosquitoes in the house’ aren’t opposites.

And with that in mind, when we propose to people that spraying pesticides around houses is Not A Good Idea, Actually, I feel like we need to give an alternative asides from ‘deal with it.’

i felt like that scene at the dinner table with the buckley parents really embodied everything that their family was not. maddie and buck were not loved, they were not supported, and I can’t really imagine them having family dinners.

so to me, the action of “setting on the table” of the baby box, was a olive branch to maddie but a complete disregard of buck (obviously they both suffer, maddie has to face the fact that her parents weren’t there for her with doug and completely abandoned her in a incredible time of need and buck has to face the fact that his parents weren’t there period).

i think it juxtaposes nicely to the other dinner scenes we see where family and camaraderie are at the forefront. just because you’re having a family dinner, doesn’t make you family and so that gif was meant to convey that all types of dinners happen, but it’s the ones with the people you love that begin and end the world you live in.

More like the idiot just poof’d one day. I spent FIVE YEARS WAITING for him to show back up but then when he didn’t well, I retraced his steps to see if I couldn’t get some hint as to what he was planning. Sadly this is what led to me eventually heading to the mall and getting bit BEFORE THE APOCOLYPSE BTW. No that came about because some rival company of Dad’s decided to release something that caused the initial mutations and panic. And all the other zombies can understand it too- it’s just Zim and Gaz who can’t really (thought with Gaz IDK maybe she can? She’s never said one way or another. To me it sounds like just plain old English though. And yeah, kinda surprised he’s taken a liking to her. Did I mention she loves shiny things? Gir is like the most shiny thing she’s met ever.
