my favorite characters to write about right now are definitely big and chan from kinnporsche as you may have noticed 😂 although I am like 95% done with a follow up to my pike/boimler fic, I've just been stuck on the last part of it for a couple of months 😖 something about the chanbig dynamic really got me, idk what it was... characters that feel themselves incapable of - or unlucky in - love finding each other and falling in love with someone who values them when they've never really had that before. big feeling like he's never been worthy of love from kinn because he's never been good enough and realizing that's not the case, and someone sees him and cares about him 💘💯 PERFECT!! and chan who has hardened himself to his life and never seems unbalanced, has told himself he doesnt need or even want love, then allowing vulnerability and someone into his heart mmm 💯

so I guess I love the tropes of pining or thinking it's unrequited but you've resigned yourself to never saying anything because it's better this way and it's enough to be friends with this person because that's so important too, a person who has never thought themselves worthy or deserving of love getting loved 💗 I don't know if I write specific tropes but I do love when characters sleep (actually just sleep) together and wake up cuddled together (or pining from the other side of the bed), wound treating as an expression of love, one character getting injured and the other taking care of them (popular in the chanbig tag fjfjjgg), fake dating (although the reason has to be believable to me 🫣), calm controlled one × passionate one who isn't good at controlling their feelings, and I do love when soulmate tropes are subverted - they may be soulmates but they fall in love first without knowing that or they fall in love despite not being "soulmates" and make the choice to be together and build a love 🥰

You’ve got me thinking about Ray x an easily flustered Mc again, because only in my head am I brave enough to try and turn him pink. Have you ever written something for Ray x an Mc who is very much like he is: in the aspect of getting so flustered/overwhelmed because they find it so hard to believe someone like him likes someone like them? I think it’s crazy to imagine how differently things might go if he was able to take most of the lead and or see an Mc with his mentality. That “but I’m so, and you’re so?” Thought process.

imagine the expression on Ray’s face when you grasp at his coat. His cheeks are red, his lips are trembling, and he can’t look away from you. But, there’s this look in your eyes that rivals his. You’re overwhelmed, overstimulated, and you’re looking at him with fear and desire. What is this? Why are you both stunned and lost? 

He knows something isn’t right, but why is his heart beating so fast? Why is the world not moving? Why? Did he do something wrong? All he said was that he’d loved the look in your eyes when you smiled. It wasn’t a lie. It was the truth. He loved everything about you and he couldn’t help himself when he felt the need to confess his adoration of you. 

Why can’t he breathe now? Why can’t he think about anything at that moment when he’s already imagined a hundred ways of kissing you in this garden until you forgot how to breath? Why is it that every single thought in his head up and vanished the second you grasped at him? There’s a million questions in his head but the only one that persists is the feeling of your body pressed against his. 

“What are you doing?” his voice quivers. He wants you to do things with him, but his insecurities are eating away at him. “Was I too much? Should I have shut my mouth, prince/ss? Did I say something wrong?” 

He wants to feel the strength to push on ahead, but you’re his God/dess. He can’t say no to you, and he certainly can’t do anything to pin you down when you’re holding him. It doesn’t make sense. Yes, it makes sense he wants you. But, are you sure you want him? 

What if he does something wrong? 

There’s an anxious laugh at your lips. You don’t seen to know what you want to say, either. “I... I don’t know. I just— I thought you were so... every time you talk to me like that, I get this feeling that tells me if I don’t kiss you soon... haha... I might... I don’t know... um... You’re just so amazing, Ray. Nobody’s ever looked at me like that before.. I guess I just want you to know how beautiful you are instead of letting you say all these nice things without being... scared to... say it back.” 

Kiss him? 

Your hands trembled against him again. It was obvious that it was taking a lot of your emotional strength to admit these things. He knew that look on your face because it was the same look on his. It was the feeling of being infatuated with someone so much that you didn't know what to do with yourself. 

It was the feeling of knowing that the person that you admired was right in front of you and you could say the things that you felt. It was the chance to leap when you felt like you were going to fall. 

However, his heart was pounding so hard that he didn't know what to do with himself. There was a part of him that was happy to hear that you wanted him the way that he wanted you. But there was another part of him that was afraid of not being enough for you. His insecurities told him that he just wasn't good enough. Nevertheless, he wanted to hear these things. He wanted to know you wanted him. Even if it made him feel like he was going to faint.

If he didn't know any better about this, he would have said that you were just as overwhelmed as him. He didn't understand why you would be. You seemed to understand things that he didn't, and you had a lot more experience in the world than he did. You could have had anybody that you wanted and the fact that you were trying to hold onto him was amazing.

“I... I want to... do... do that with you, too,” he whispered, barely audible. “I want to do that... but... I don’t want to... make you feel like you have to do that sort of thing for me... I know I’m not good enough for you. I wish I was... I wish I brave enough to...” 

Without thinking, you leaned forward and brushed your lips against the crook of his lips, only to let out an embarrassed squeak, “I’m sorry,” and ran off back in the direction of your room. Immediately, it made his face warm up incredibly. He knew that you weren't apologizing because you didn't like it. You realized that you were apologizing because you wanted to do it and couldn't stop yourself.

It was... you were... Ray’s body felt warm. He needed a shower, now, before he had impure thoughts and considered chasing you down.

It looked like you both wanted the same thing, but you weren’t good at showing it.

Hi hello! (b ᵔ▽ᵔ)b I'm aamna, 21 yr old human disaster lmao. I'm currently a university student, so usually i'm pretty busy with that. the rest of the time i just spend making gifs of stuff that i like or watching dramas.

2. How and when did you become a CHOICE?

i'm a really new choice, i started at the end of feb this year. i got to know who they were mainly because of kareena and pooja posting pictures of them in the mdzsnet discord 😂 im gonna be honest initially it was me just finding jun attractive (pooja has proof of the start of my thirsting lmao) but then i heard donghun, jun and chan's cover of someone you loved and it was so incredible, their voices and the harmonization so i listened to more of their covers before I got sucked in and listened to all their albums in one go sjfjf and here I am four months later with only having a.c.e on repeat al day hahaha.

3. What is your favourite part of being a CHOICE?

Being able to see and hear how amazing ace is. Getting to experience how loving the fandom is. Also the last two weeks?? This is my first comeback and maybe it's because idk much about comebacks in general but I dont think other groups spoil their fans so much. All the photoshoots!! And just generally too, ace gives us so much content, whether it's song covers or almost daily selfies and vlives. I love it!

4. What is your favourite A.C.E song? Do you prefer their title tracks or b-sides more?

Oh this is hard because it's hard choice between undercover and goblin. So I'll just go with both of them. The highnotes and the rap it's so nice I keep on singing them especially undercover, even though I barely know the lyrics 😂 they're extremely catchy.

5. Who’s your bias? What do you like about them?

It's Jun and Chan because right from the first cover I watched, my brain was like himmm—no himmm and it hasnt stopped since.

6. What is your favourite thing about A.C.E?

What's not my favourite thing? They're so funny and hot and talented and I'm only a simple human.

7. Which concept has been your favourite? What kind of concept do you want them to try?

Maybe I'm biased because I get to experience this one but also sirens, shipwrecks, lost princes, vampires they did it all!

8. Which A.C.E friendship is your favourite? Which one do you want to see more of?

wowkwan! they're so adorable and soft with eachother! I really love it. I still havent seen all of their bts videos but the way they understand eachother 🥺

hi, I'm just a random stay anon, this is my first time talking here but i saw what you wrote abt the perf and i kinda totally get you tbh like this is my opinion based on what i saw so far (it might change later or overtime idk) i was expecting a bit more /oomph/ (with lack of better word ??) with the perf (singing/dancing i suppose) considering that the songs they used were side effects + gods menu (former was kinda a dead genre being brought back alive so it wasn't really anyone's cup of tea n the latter was what brought more light onto skz) so i was expecting more aggressive (?) powerful (more impact??) perf more than what we saw, maybe I'm just being nitpicky or smth rn yeah ;; but storytelling wise! it was smth new they touched on tbh and it was great !! i know the boys and the other bgs worked very hard for their perf and we shld appreciate them but it's totally alright to have a personal opinion regarding to smth as long as no one is bashing on anyone tbh it's what makes me have our own personality n our sense of sense ngl !! Ok I'm sorry I'm going off tangent, i just wanted to ramble a little jfjfj n to the anons saying that you're being critical or too judgy, they shld stop, it's ok to not like smth, it's not the end of the world! we can't always like everyth

Jane and Sakura, idk why but i think theyd be able to relate to each other very well. theyre both gals who are pretty sensible but also have a temper, but i think theyd be able to find a lot of similarities with each other

Dirk and either Sasuke or Neji, i dont think any pairing would be able to put up with each other for long, tho, dirk and neji would get along a lot better after neji learns some morals

As Established Jake and Lee would get along SO well- lee would probably exhaust jake tho jfjfj bc hes such a going going going type of guy. tho he would be a fan of jakes movies.

roxy and naruto. idk theyre smth abt naruto tht i think roxy would be very endeared to. lonely kids who had bad coping mechanisms (naruto acting out to get attention vs roxy’s alcholism) but theyre both also so cheerful and caring and able to make friends. i see them as having a very sweet friendship

jade and kiba. i think kiba would think jades island is rlly cool tbh jfjfj and hed love bec. jade meanwhile would love akamari. dog based friendship. i cant rlly elaborate other than ‘i think theyd get along well and have fun together :-)’
