//sometimes I think about Husk and Alastor like -- I like to think that he and Husk had a decent relationship when Husk was an overlord. He wouldn't be Alastor's usual target for his broadcasts.
Alastor befriending Husk. Alastor purposely losing at the tables. He'd noticed that Husk was starting to struggle - the casino slowly emptying of employees as Husk's luck began to turn. And he can't help himself - he sees an opportunity he has to take it. Sets it up so it's sort of 'known' that Alastor has shit luck and super obvious tells.
So Husk gambles with Alastor, and is absolutely floored when Alastor actually wins.
Alastor's happy - Husk could have gone to anyone and he'd gone to him! And now he can keep his friend with him, and now that he has his soul he doesn't have to worry about his friend's safety.
And Husk just feels cheated.
Killer Queen is too short ranged of a stand to affect most sleuths and it's not in Kira's character to drop Sheer Heart Attack at the police departament and hope.
Kira generally doesn't have many ways to deal with characters that:
Work in teams.
Work from far away.
Have any sort of records showing that they're invastigating him.
The man had to be bailed out by Bites the Dust and still lost
Most sleuths wouldn't even let Kira get away for long enough for him to aquire Bites the Dust so that's not even something to consider in most of these cases.
{But you're really ignoring one thing: It can't be detected by anyone but Stand Users. Why would they think they needed to investigate Yoshikage Kira specifically? There's no evidence of the killings, since in canon, even the police didn't try to investigate the mysterious disappearances. The sleuths would mostly not be able to understand that Killer Queen exists, and even if they assumed it was something supernatural, there's still no evidence. And the man managed to impersonate another man in front of his family, landlord, coworkers, and everyone who may have talked to Kosaku on the street, with only the man's child catching on. Had Hayato never thought to set up a camera in his parents' room, Kira would have never been caught at all. And Kira doing poorly against teams of people investigating him doesn't line up when he's gotten away from them twice (he would have escaped Jotaro and Koichi were it not for Act III, and he did escape the entire Duwang Gang when they were chasing him by severing his own hand), plus managing to keep his identity secret from EVERYONE except Hayato until the kid figured out how to use the time-loop to his advantage. You're right that most of the time Killer Queen wouldn't get to Bites the Dust, but it would be because Kira wouldn't need to. He has eliminated people in broad daylight before, and he could do so again when against someone who can't see Stands.}
sometimes I do miss playing jacket as just some silly little guy, but reality wanted me to remind everyone that this man is straight up unhinged and needs to be incarcerated
About twenty, I think. I don't want to clutter my ship with dull achievements. I chose my trophies based on how thrilling the chase was, if it was a 'first blood' or not, and general aesthetics. I've had many different trophies before, until I discard them to make room or realize that they don't deserve such an achievement. Typically I just go back to their planet and put their remains near their old residence, and if that's impossible, I just give them a quick burial on some deserted planet nearby.
People say that I've made entire species extinct. Truth be told, that's a mere exaggeration. While I have made a few species endangered, they were already very close to doing so. I'm not some macabre masscaring bot like Lord Megatron. It's undignified and cruel, even for my standards~ I don't mind the rumours. It's fun to watch bots run their processors dry from fear.
I’m tired, I’m lurking, my dad’s birthday is this weekend, but I had a thought nonetheless cuz I was thinking of Alastor fighting again
And I dunno if it’ll make sense to anyone
But...
Alastor essentially operates on analog horror rules and logic. If he wasn’t a demon in Hell he’d be the main antagonist of an analog horror series. Like Mandela’s Gabriel. And it especially works like that in a fight.
