" hehe, i realize that this whole time, i actually never properly greeted you as a king .... " crimson smiles, in a jesting mood. he would turn to ozymandias, kneeling down by one leg as he rests his hand to his chest, chuckling. " haha, is this the right greeting ? i am at your mercy now .... "
❝…❞ Oh. Oh…well… WELL. Ozymandias stood there, left with a plethora of rather complicated feelings upon seeing Crimson so casually take to the knee before him, hand upon his chest and that soft smile upon his lips. This was a sight he was used to, of course. Such was to be expected before the presence of a king, but there was something altogether different in this case when the dragon was involved. It was just because – it was – tch whatever! He was just unused to someone so large taking to such a reverent position before him is all. More so considering this was a proud dragon at that. Any ruler in his situation would be surprised in such a situation, surely. ❝Yes, that is…acceptable.❞

Name: Percival
Class: Lancer
Noble Phantasm: Longinus Count Zero
Species: Human (Servant)
Gender: Cis Male; he/him
Height: 6'4’’ (195 cms)
Alignment: Lawful Good
Origin: Britain
———–
Personality:
+ Protective, loyal, trustworthy, chivalrous
- Can be a bit stubborn, sometimes things fly over his head
A sincere knight who values decorum, he has been described as pure-hearted on occasion. Acting calmly without doubting or losing his temper at others, Percival known well for his patience – a trait that must have been necessary for some of his more bullheaded comrades. Percival is well-liked by children and animals that meet him for the first time, though said person is unaware of this fact. When he was alive, he used to stand in Camelot's garden in the morning sunlight, letting little birds rest on his shoulders and arms.
It is during battle that he shows a harsher side of himself, but this shift is seen only during battle. He frequently fusses over his juniors, especially those younger than him as he has a tendency to take on a more guardian, or to some, big brother-like role. This extends to his fellow Servants as well as the Master whom he wishes to look after with the same tenacity. A genuine soul, Percival values honesty, and as such, does not conceal his thoughts or opinions.
History:
Percival, the Holy Knight of the Dove, was a member of the Knights of the Round Table led by King Arthur, holding the 2nd Seat. There are many tales of Percival’s birth, though if asked about his home, he will casually state that he was raised in a forest by his mother. The details after that are not important – so he would say. What was, was that he came to prove himself worthy of becoming a Knight of the Round Table. Eventually, in time, he embarked on a quest to find the Holy Grail with Sir Galahad and Sir Bors, a quest recalled most fondly by him as he was able to bear witness to its miracle. Though there are many versions of this tale, this Percival came upon a version of the Holy Spear, Longinus, perhaps guided by fate to do so as if chosen by the spear itself to be wielded by him. Through his journey, he became an enemy to a sorcerer named Klingsor who too sought to use the Holy Spear, albeit for purposes less than pure. Attempting to bar Percival from continuing, he sent his servant, Kundry, to him in hopes that he would be bewitched, and though her kisses had the power to enthrall men with the same ease of a Siren’s song, it did not work on the Knight of the Dove.
Bearing Kundry no ill-will for her attempts at seduction, he was able to confront Klingsor, and through that battle with the assistance of the spear, claim his victory. Kundry disappeared never to be seen again, but her flowers bloomed around the throne of Klingsor’s fortress, the beauty of them remaining deep within Percival’s thoughts even as he left and eventually returned back to Camelot. What happens after all of this? What other tales are there for this knight? There are many, just as there are many for the others as well. In the end, however, he eventually fell with his beloved kingdom, dying with no regrets in his heart for he had given his all to both his king and to the place he called his home.

❛❛ T - Thoughts ? ❜❜ She stands , nervously before him ---- hands folded 'pon the handle of her blade & sleeves echoing against the grasses. Her dance having come to an end ; when the splay of sleeves , billowing & fabrics twirling ceases ( her sword cutting the breeze , kin to kagura bells displacing evil. ) Finger tips nervously play again the handle , as she peeks between him & the earth. ❛❛ It's been awhile since I've danced. ❜❜ The last time being when they were younger , teenagers still.
TO NANAMI, KOTO ALWAYS danced. Whether she realized it or not, in the heat of combat, there was grace in her movements, ferocity too like that of a raging tiger, and yet somehow she managed to put all these things together into something beautiful to bear witness to. Even back when they had both been in high school, learning how to deal with curses and trying to find themselves in this new environment, one of Nanami’s favorite things when the chance arose, was to just watch Koto’s movements. Thus, even now as she held blade without intent to harm, but to show the steps of her form, show the beauty of such a deadly weapon outside of a purpose of blood and violence, nothing had changed. Just the manner at which she danced. ❝I thought it was breathtaking,❞ he replied easily, a small smile finding its way upon his lips. ❝Just as much as I remember it to be.❞
How it would always be.
❝Nothing has changed in all the years that have passed. You still would be even the greatest geisha to shame, I think.❞ His words would fluster her no doubt, and chances were Koto would turn red in the face and adamantly deny that she held that level of skill, but Nanami meant what he said. There was no intent to tease in such honesty. He merely stated what he perceived as the absolute truth. ❝Would you care to have a finale?❞ Just one more dance for nostalgia’s sake.

[ pat, for achi ] “Do you want to go back to sleep, or shall I make you a cup of tea?”
"...tea, if you don't mind. I won't sleep again."
It is still strange, occupying the same space as Patroclus, but not unwanted. Achilles had, after all, spent the time since they parted on an excursion of grief, roaming the cosmos for any sign that he might find his lover again, so to be by his side now has not yet become comfortable. He'd only been here because they had spoken for long enough for the light to wane and the night to arrive, offered space to rest rather than trekking back to the Silvermane barracks where he had been put up by the captain.
He rises from sweat ridden sheets and pushes his hair off his face, rubbing palms against eyes as if it might ease the fitful pace of his heart. It's his penance, he knows, the consequences of his own actions, but it does not make it any easier to see his face in his sleep, to be reminded of all the terrible things he had done. The desecration and destruction that he had left in his wake, wishing the world would be left in ashes so he might feel comfortable standing upon it again.
"Did I wake you?" he asks, softly, his words only emphasising how drained he felt, the tone depleted of all lustre, more so than usual. Was I screaming? Is the question he wants to ask but refrains. Sometimes it is best to not know what words fell from his lips in his sleep. He's certain that some of them might undo the tentative repairs that have been made between them otherwise.
He drops his hands then, making himself move, if only to distract himself from what he had seen, even if all he desires to do is fall back into the sheets and bury himself away. A pace he starts up, counting each step in his head, only pausing when he sees the other holding the steaming cup out as an offering.

So my teeny tiny hc for when my muses are summoned (that breaks canon but my blog, my rules so whatever) is that Patroclus gets summoned first during the Singularity F (Fuyuki) to help the master and Mashu. After the Singularity, he's definitely among the first servants to be summoned to Chaldea.
The second one to be summoned would've been Cú Chulainn during the Second Singularity (Septem). He would've been one of the rogue servants in the Gaul expedition led by Boudica. And here's a casual reminder that Cú is one of the few servants who can remember all the times he was summoned.
The last one to be summoned and by mere chance would've been Deirdre during the Fourth Singularity (London). She would've started as an enemy with Nursery Rhyme (dee's first ascension is that of a 14yo girl!) but would've gone to Chaldea's side after being defeated/learning that they're not trying to harm her.

' um, rider... ' how did anyone phrase this sort of question? his fingers tumble and fumble with invisible locks. his eyes go elsewhere. ' is there... i mean, um, umm ... ' cheeks alight. ' c-chaldea has all sorts of servants, so i was maybe just wondering if, somehow, with someone --- ' he shuts his eyes. against the soft-growing pound of his heart, he still manages to finally pose his query. ' have... have you ever fallen in love? '
❝A RATHER ODD TOPIC for you to approach me with, Daisuke.❞ Coming to him asking about whether he had been in love once was what he expected from another, not from one as young as this. He would have thought them more interested in other things besides love. However, he supposed when he stopped to think about it, Daisuke did seem the ‘romantic at heart’ type. He could imagine stories that held romance were intriguing to them, and probably if he ever asked, Ozymandias would have received his answer. ❝I have been, yes. A long, long time ago, there was one who held my heart delicately within the palm of her hand, and not once did I ever feel any unease that she did. There is nothing more beautiful than to love and to trust in equal measure, and to know that you were trusted and loved just the same.❞ Talks of his past always reminded him of his age. He was young, yet he was old, his appearance just a shell for the soul and all that lingered deep within it.
❝Why this curiosity?❞

I-is that her childhood heroine Lady Tomoe Gozen she’s seeing at???!! Tears are already swelling at the corners of her eyes in disbelief && happiness at once. // from Tsuru 👀🥺
IT WAS RATHER HARD not to feel eyes practically boring into the back of her head. Whoever was watching sure was doing so rather…intensely. Confused, she turned to see who this mysterious individual could be just so she could ask what they wanted. ❝Can I help you with something?❞ For surely that must have been the case, right? Honestly, thinking about it, Tomoe wasn’t really sure that she had ever seen this person before. Then again, new Servants were always appearing in this building, so her being unaware of their identity wasn’t remotely odd. ❝Ah, forgive me. That was impolite!❞ Clearing her throat, she smiled. ❝I believe an exchange in names is in order first before such questions. You may call me ‘Tomoe’. May I ask what it is you prefer to be referred as?❞

/ OK OK BUT! I'm not in my compy rn and I still have to write lil bios about my muses but if there's someone you are already interested in interacting with, do pls lemme know by commenting here! It would help me a buuuunch if u guys could pick one (1) muse or two (at least for a start point) because I'm easily distracted and I found that I can't quite concentrate well on dynamics if at the start I'm jumping back and forth with 4 of my muses at the same time for one character so yeah!
