About: Robert Carson made his first billion by starting a church of unitology on Cerros 7. Within a decade the entire planet had mostly converted (by force) to be a unified religion. Moving on he started new missions and temples across the known colonies until he reached Terra 3. Using his influence and his fathers name he gained a foothold within the already well established society of 'old money'. Mingling well with the rich families coming from Earth and surrounding colonies his charm swayed them into funding his many religious projects. It wasn't long until Unitology was a known religion on his side of the explored galaxy and twisted to put him on a pedestal.

Once well established he began funding the darker side of society. He helped push for the genocide of several nonhuman species as well as the culling of a good chunk of living forest to push for human expansion. For as often as he funds an orphanage and caters to his people he cuts apart and undermines the rights of those without human blood. The collective united government as well as individual colonies give him free reign as he will just cut them a paycheck for whatever number they ask for. As a result most crimes against humanity are swept under the rug. Always looking for good press he spends most of his days funding businesses and meeting with 'his' people.

Carson wasn’t born into wealth, but that didn’t stop him being lucky from a young age; at least, that was what people always told him. He was born Carson Scott. His father was a plumber by trade, hard-working and earnest. His mother came from a wealthy family, but while her sister, Carson’s aunt, married into the wealthy West family, she had other plans. She fell in love and married outside her family’s approval, turning away from their money to forge a simple life.

Carson doesn’t have any real memories of his birth parents, but when he looked back into his family’s case years later, the reports said the fire was the result of faulty wiring. The building had dozens of violations and nothing was up to code. The landlord went to prison for negligence, but not for long enough, if you asked Carson.

Sixteen people died in the apartment fire, including his parents, but a firefighter managed to carry two-year-old Carson out wrapped in a baby blanket. That was where the ‘luck’ came in. To this day, Carson doesn’t understand how so many lost their lives and a child of barely two years old made a full recovery. 

After the fire, his aunt and uncle, The West family, took him in and adopted him as their own. The Wests were always honest about his birth parents but he also got the impression they didn’t want to dive into the gritty details. It wasn’t exactly something happy to talk about at the dinner table, and with his birth mom’s side of the family, Carson always got the impression there was a little sorrow and resentment over things left unsaid, a loss they felt could have been prevented.

Carson had always had a vision in his mind of the heroes who saved his life, along with so many others. The family thought he would grow out of wanting to be a firefighter when he grew up. After all, that was just something kids said, right? They wanted to be a Firefighter. Cowboy. Race Car Driver. Then they grew up. With Carson, that desire never faded, and rather than Business Management, Politics, Law, he decided to get his Bachelor of Science in Fire and Emergency Services at the University of Florida, going on to complete his EMT Certification, Fire Suppression Certificate, and eventually his Paramedic training. His family insisted that if he was going to go into this line of work, at the very least, he was going to pursue it with as many qualifications as he could get. 

Now, Carson is a fresh-faced young first responder stationed in his hometown of Boston. He gets the feeling not too many people take him seriously, but just because he tries to keep a smile on his face and bring levity to his work, he’s determined to prove that doesn’t mean he’s a joke. After all, he’s always felt he has something to prove. 

In the last few months, however, his life became more complicated when his father was found to be embezzling funds from his company. Carson was horrified, but an already difficult job is now even more difficult thanks to the fact he’s become a pariah in the community he strives to serve. Their family had to sell most of their businesses, several homes and pieces of land, and his father is under investigation. On top of dealing with twenty-four hour shifts and having people’s lives in his hands, he also faces judgement that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree and is managing his own anger towards his father, and the destruction he’s brought upon the family name.

Carson is a future good boy and a present 70 lb bundle of constant energy, claws, and squeaky toys. He is a handful and a half, and he keeps us busier than any of the other critters on the farm. He's sharp as a whip and intensely food motivated, which makes him a blast to train. His favorite game is tug-of-war (usually over his pink dragon), and he delights in chewing on antlers and hooves. He knows the question, "Do you need belly pets?" and his answer is always yes.

We don't know much of his history, so the cause of his unique noggin shape is unknown. His vet speculates it resulted from an injury when he was very young. It doesn't cause him any issue, though I do like to joke that the dent in his skull is where his impulse control should be.

CORNELIA ARCHER’S BC (attempt 2.0...)

I announced this BC almost three years ago but overestimated myself with the ambition and just wasn't in a good place mentally in the following months (to put it mildly), but now I feel like I've missed projects like this a lot and am still vibing with the idea of this BC. Also my ts3 is running so much better now, which was one of the initial reasons for cancellation, but now it's a lot easier for me, woo!

Before it got cancelled, I've got a few contestants. I think some of them were given for public download since, but it's really not a problem for me, I can still use them. Right now I'm thinking of still using the same contestants and maybe accepting a few more. I also asked a few people on discord who said it's fine to use the same sims.

In case someone would like to join and make a contestant, let me know under this post or in an ask! The catch of the BC is that the contestant should be based on a song/album (of any artist), as Cornelia herself is very Taylor Swift inspired and is a Lover girlie, actually made on the singer's 30th birthday in 2019 as a tribute sim (she and the winner may even appear in the Lover gen of my swiftacy if I get there hehe) (yes I'm an absolutely hopeless swiftie, all of my saves have some inspo from her) (and what about it).

I don't know how many sims I would accept (11 would be perfect... I'd dress her as one of the eras for every episode). But it would be fine for me if I got less than that, realistically the simblr climate isn't the same as back when BCs were more popular, I guess.

The most important aspect of this BC: it’s not a regular one, it’s a music-inspired BC. Therefore, your sim must be inspired by a certain song, music video, artist, or music album - it could be whatever you wish! (absolutely no pressure if you can't think of anything and would just want to make a regular sim, but I just thought it would be a fun prompt)

The deadline for making a sim is September 30 (flexible). The faster I get all the sims, the better, but no pressure!

OK so I think the only way for season 7 to work is if there's a substantial timeskip. I don't necessarily mean "let's go straight to 1940 and have WW2", but at least eight years or so. Have the grandkids be teenagers (well the three eldest anyway). Not as old as Rose, so it gives us another kind of storyline, but old enough to start taking their place in society while still being outside of it.

Give us Mary feeling anxious over George's incoming coming of age and the fact she'll have to rule over the estate with him since I'm pretty sure he owes like half of it. Give us Lucy doing her best to keep Sybbie in check but it's hard, man, it's super hard, to control a teenage girl who's not your daughter but also is. Give us Edith juggling the magazine and the marchioness title as well as she can, perhaps planning to hand the magazine over to Marigold when she becomes an adult, since it was Gregson's. Heck, give us Marigold learning who she is!!! Give us Johnny Bates and Caroline Talbot friendship. Give us Talbot & Branson motors news! Have they gone into production now? Are they still car salesmen? What about a secret, seventh grandchild? After all, it's not out of the realm of possibilities that Mary, Edith or Lucy would have become pregnant again during the timeskip!

Give us the Three oldest grandkids start getting involved in politics! once Robert dies, it's George who will have a seat in Parliament! Sybbie literally can't not have a political opinion of some sort, with her heredity, or make her not give tuppence about politics and Tom being despaired by it! And for the absolutely cruel, dramatic irony, have Marigold be the one (there's always one in series happening during the rise of fascism) who's seduced by the fascist ideals! And then discover her bio dad was killed by brownshirts! And then have a crisis!

Give us Atticus and Rose coming back from America, perhaps because Lord Sinderby died and Atticus inherited the title! Give us Atticus and Rose with more children born in the mean time! Give us Robert being convinced there won't be a war and Cora not being so sure, and give us Daisy who runs for the local elections as a joke and becomes Downton's first labour party mayor! Give us Anna Bates being trained by Mrs Hughes to take her place when she retires (she can't afford to retire because of her sister, sure, but what about the B&B she opened with Carson? give us news of that, too!!).

Anyway i'm starting to ramble about everything i hope will happen instead of just things I think would make it a good set up but also I'm cautiously optimistic while also being super thrilled it's happenign!!!!

About The Haynes-Jones Family:

Brandon Haynes and Samantha Jones met each other as young adults. They originally resided in Willow Creek, where a relationship formed and led to the birth of their first-born daughter, Nadia, before the little family of three moved to Newcrest. The couple's intimate bond led to marriage, followed by the birth of three more children: Quentin, Kendall, and Jacob. The family currently lives in Brindleton Bay, and as both Brandon and Samantha are in the retirement stage of their lives, they hope to see their children thrive in their respective career paths while carrying on the family legacy. However, all four children will come to understand why they should be grateful for the things that came to them with ease.

About The Chaney Family:

Bria and Paris Chaney did not come from the most fortunate household. They are the byproduct of a very toxic mother, Sylvia, who has indulged herself in two separate relationships. Carson Jenkins, now a businessman in San Myshuno, has faced various forms of verbal and emotional abuse at the hands of his then-girlfriend, prompting him to leave and focus on his education and career path. However, the combination of this and the discovery of him leaving behind his only daughter, Bria, has left him at a crossroads. —- BACKGROUND  —-

valerie was born an only child to ramona marciella chambers and andrew rodrigo chambers in nashville, tennessee til she was five years old in which then they moved to hart, michigan and this is where she grow up and lived out the rest of her life. in her teen years she has a history of heartbreaks, trying to find her perfect person. during this time she learned about her sexuality, however. this also lead her to falling into a partying time in her life. she still currently does this from time to time to unwind and just have a good time with friends or even just to feel herself. however, definitely not as much as she used to. valerie values her mum more than anything but she’s lost contact with her father since her mom and him divorced before the move to michigan so she has no connection to him but gets along fine.

once she finished school, her focus really became culinary and she taught herself some of her cooking and baking skills. she took culinary classes to further her learning and she managed to get her first job at a local restaurant. valerie was truly happy and felt in her element with her culinary skills. for a while she lived with her mum, up until her passing. this lead to her hiding in her work for a while and she took up mixology classes to mix as well as serve drinks at the restaurant as well sometimes.

as soon as she could afford it, valerie packed up her life and left michigan, moving out to new york and making herself at home in the bronx. it wasn't the most ideal at first, but she managed to get a couple jobs in the area for her skills. this easily helped her start to feel at home again.

valerie has managed to live her life rather well in town, even explores as much as she can (mostly of the bronx area) in her free time. she's put all her focus into her work still, but also enjoys meeting people and hanging out as well as reading and a few other hobbies. she tries not to think about her life back home or her mother often but on those hard days, she really keeps to herself or works even more than normal.
