I had a rough exam season and took some time to rest so now I'm interacting with ppl again

Fun fact: the gold bits on his hair and hand means ppl are frequently rubbing it, like those dog statues with golden snoots🥰🥰

morax my beloved. zhongli is so SILLY as a character and i’m genuinely somewhat surprised they gave us a statue of an archon like that tbh. i will find some way some how to put it in my teapot though—reminds me i need to redecorate like half my layouts ough—and probably make a ridiculous shrine for it or something for the fun of it. most normal genshin impact player.

Hot Buns (Bucky x Reader)

A/N: Hey guys!! I’m so so sorry for taking so long to post fics and stuff😭 I’m sorry that you had to wait so long, anon!!! Anyways, enjoy!!

Request: Hey 😊 May I ask for a Bucky imagine where your great grandma used to run a little bakery back in the 40s and buck came there everyday. Now in the future you own the little shop and buck still comes by and meanwhile you got really close friends. One day he comes there, looking sad and bothered so you bring him his favourite muffin and sit down with him trying to find out why. Then he shyly admits how much he likes you and asks you for a date ? I hope it's not weird :) and both povs if you like❤️

“Thank you and please come again!” You waved at a customer as she nodded with a smile and waved back before leaving the store.

You took a breath in as you glanced around your little bakery, memories of you when you were younger coming back to you. You remembered your grandmother owning this place and you used to always visit here. It was a small bakery at the corner of the street, with a table a table or two for people to enjoy the cozy atmosphere here.

Looking to the side, a grin lit your face as you saw one of your regular customers sitting by a table. You walked towards him, him turning to look at you, a smile on his face as well. “Good morning, Bucky.”

“Morning, Y/N,” he replied.

You met Bucky almost every day when you started working, he just came by to your bakery every day. As seeing him was such a daily occurrence, you started talking to him and soon enough both of you became pretty close. He told you that he used to visit this bakery all the time in the 40s but stopped because of the HYDRA thing.

“So, anything exciting happened yesterday?” You asked.

Bucky shook his head before he sighed. “Nothing much, besides the fact that Stark threw a party.”

“Not fun?”

“Only the drinking,” Bucky replied with a smirk before he nodded to the side. “You got some customers.”

You snapped out of your haze of ogling Bucky and looked to see customers at the counter. “Alright, I’ll be back later, go grab yourself some breakfast.”

Bucky smiled. “Thank you.”

You smiled back, thinking about how good Bucky looked with a smile on his face as you made your way to the counter to collect payment. As time passed, Bucky and you talked about a lot of things before he said that he had to go and paid for his bread, saying that he’ll come by tomorrow. You waved goodbye as you watched him leave.

Bucky’s visits were always one of things you looked forward to and you’re pretty sure you had a crush on the man. Placing yours hands on your cheeks, you felt your face warm as you wondered if he liked you back.

You sighed and shrugged to yourself as you continued attending to the customers. Well, you’ll never know.

You turned and looked up as you heard the bell at the door chime, signaling someone coming in. When you saw the person, you immediately smiled. “Hey, Bu-” You stopped as you realized he didn’t look at you. He took a seat at his usual spot, looking bothered.

Frowning, you wondered what was wrong. He never acted like this. You thought about it for a while before you went and grabbed a tray, picking a plum muffin and setting it on the tray before going behind the counter and grabbing a cup and filling it with coffee, pausing to collect payment from a customer. You held the tray and walked towards Bucky and placed it in front of him.

Bucky jolted in surprise before looking up at you. You smiled as you took a seat opposite him, pointing at the muffin. “I brought you your favorite muffin.”

“Thank you,” Bucky said as he looked at the muffin.

You eyed him for a while more before deciding to speak. “Are you okay?”

Bucky looked surprised before he looked away and ran his fingers through his hair. “Uh, yeah, I’m fine.”

You furrowed your brows. “Really?”

Bucky nodded. “Yeah, it’s just something stupid.”

“What is?” You questioned.

Bucky was quiet, not knowing if he should tell you or not. He had talked to Nat about this and she just told him to go for it, but he didn’t know if you even liked him back. He scratched the back of his neck as he glanced away awkwardly, he didn’t want to ruin the friendship between both of you.

“Bucky?”

“You have hot buns.”

Your eyes widened. “What?”

“I mean have I ever told you how much I like your food?” Bucky said out of nowhere, shocking you. You caught Bucky wincing to himself and you cocked your head to the side.

Bucky cursed softly under his breath. Damn, he really shouldn’t have let Nat give him advice ever again.

“No?”

Bucky started to nod slowly. “Well, I do.”

You felt a smile threatening to show but you bit your lip and took in a breath. “Thank you.”

“I also like something else,” Bucky continued slowly, watching your reaction.

“Which is?”

“You,” Bucky finally said, running his hand through his hair again. “And I, I’ll like to ask you out.”

You just stared at him, not believing that this was happening right now.

Bucky looked at you as you didn’t respond before looking at the muffin, before moving to stand. “It’s okay if you don’t feel the same, I just wanted to tell you how I felt. Well, that’s all, b-”

“Wait.” You reached out and held his arm, a smile lighting up your face. “I like you too.”

Bucky looked at you in surprise before sitting back down. “Really?”

“Yes, really.” You nodded, before glancing to see that there were more customers coming in. “What about dinner tonight? At 7?”

Bucky immediately nodded as you stood, him standing up as well. “I’ll pick you up.”

“I can’t wait,” you said as you leaned up and gave Bucky a kiss on the cheek before turning to leave, stopping and glancing back at him. “By the way, you have hot buns too.”

Bucky watched as you winked before going back to attend to the other customers, his fingers lightly grazing the place that you kissed, a small smile slipping on his face. He definitely couldn’t wait as well.
