Hello I'm back :)))
I had a rough exam season and took some time to rest so now I'm interacting with ppl again
Now pls let me know what you think of the Zhongli statue? I'm honestly going nuts over it
Fun fact: the gold bits on his hair and hand means ppl are frequently rubbing it, like those dog statues with golden snoots🥰🥰
I LOVED THE STATUE IT WAS SO GREAT SEEING THAT I COULD GET IT AFTER DOING THE WEB EVENT
side note the art kn the web event was so PRETTY MAN like !!! for what purpose. what need was there to make him look so nice. for what.
morax my beloved. zhongli is so SILLY as a character and i’m genuinely somewhat surprised they gave us a statue of an archon like that tbh. i will find some way some how to put it in my teapot though—reminds me i need to redecorate like half my layouts ough—and probably make a ridiculous shrine for it or something for the fun of it. most normal genshin impact player.

Definitely a Date- Lyney x Neuvillette's child!Reader
Return to File
Recovery date: April 18th, 2024
Description: Hello 👋, I just wanted to say I loved the Neuvillette story and I would like to see a continuation where the relationship with Lyney and the reader was explored, but if it's not to much to ask I'd also like some more context with the relationship between Neuvillette and the readers mother.
Notes: This work was recovered in conjunction with @crystalkat6747, we thank her for her contribution. This was fun, and ended up being super long. I clearly have favorites, lol. This is a continuation of Let It Out but, i think it can be read alone. Normal can be read as a third part.

"I’m going out with Lyney today,” Y/n said before taking another bite of their croissant. “We might leave the city.”
“Very well, I won’t wait for you at dinner time.” Neuvillette stopped spreading the jam on his bread. “And if you could, ask him to stop climbing up to your window. He’s going to get arrested one of these times.”
Y/n inhaled sharply and began choking on their food. They grabbed their tea cup and chugged the drink before coughing some more. Neuvillette watched them carefully, pushing his chair back in case he needed to help.
“Are you alright?”
“I’m-” they coughed some more, “I’m fine,” they wheezed. “I didn’t think you knew about that,” they muttered, pouring themself more tea.
“I had my suspicions, but that was how he came looking for you the other day.”
Y/n cringed a bit at the mention of the other day. It had been three days since they and their siblings had scared their father shitless, and a day since the twins had gone back to Liyue where they were currently running a small legal business. In that time Y/n had stayed close to their father and been helping around the Palais Mermonia; whether it was their way of making up for scaring him or them trying to comfort themself was uncertain.
“On a different topic, I’ve been giving your question some thought.” Y/n’s brows furrowed in confusion. “About why your mother and I are no longer together.”
“Oh.”
“I believe it was as I said before, my duty as your father is to protect you, and your mother did not believe we could do that here. She’d always taken the prophecy seriously, and as the water level began to rise she became more anxious about what might happen. However, I refused to abandon my duties here and while she could not make you leave with her– at least you would have somewhere outside of Fontain you could go.”
“I’m guessing there was more to it?”
A small smile pulled at Neuvillette’s lips. “Yes, but it doesn’t concern you.”
Y/n leaned their chin on their palm and watched their father as he flipped to the next page of the Steambird. His eyes were solemn in a way akin to how they looked after a trial. They’d always known that he hadn’t liked the idea of the divorce, but they’d also gotten the feeling it was partly because he blamed himself. After their mother had left Fontain, he’d made it a point to spend his lunch break with them and take them to see shows they expressed interest in as though he were trying to make up for his previous absence caused by work.
In fact, they’d been in the audience together when Lyney and Lynette had debuted in the Opera Epiclese.
“So, when-”
A knock echoed through the house and Y/n rushed to the front door, Neuvillette close behind.
“Hey,” Y/n breathed out.
“Good morning, Y/n.” Neuvillette heard Lyney say just before he turned the corner. To his surprise, the magician was not in his usual clothes. Instead he was dressed in black slacks and a red dress shirt, sans his usual hat. “Are you ready to go?”
“Yes, let me just-ah!”
Y/n turned around to find their father standing at the end of the hallway.
“Enjoy your day.”
“Mhm,” Y/n nodded.
Lyney held out his arm for Y/n to take, and they waved goodbye to their father before stepping outside and linking their arm with his. Neuvillette watched them walk down the street, arm in arm, before closing the door to finish his morning routine.
“Nice outfit,” Y/n hummed, leaning into the magician’s side.
“Thank you, you look good too.”
They walked past shops with windows full of mechanical toys and fancy jewelry, occasionally stopping to talk about the items on sale. Y/n shared the story of  a new line of accessories they came across, and how the melusine who was sourcing the material had gifted them one of the first watches made. Lyney smiled as they went on about how pretty the watches circuitry was, which ended with them asking about Freminet’s recent inventions.
Lyney was more than happy to share about Pers’ latest upgrade as they headed towards Cafe Lutece.
“What are we doing here?” Y/n wondered aloud as Lyney led them up to the counter.
“Grabbing snacks.”
Y/n shrugged, and ordered a batch of conch madeleines. When they turned back from getting their mora out, they found the exact change already on the counter. They turned to Lyney who grinned and pulled them away to a table where they could wait.
“I could have paid for myself.”
“It’s no problem, I like treating you when we go out.”
Y/n let out a fond sigh as a white box was set on the table. The young adults thanked the shop owner before Lyney took the lead once again, dragging Y/n to the aquabus station.
They boarded the Navia line and found themselves reminiscing about the recent flooding of the nation at the mention of their friend. The melusine went on with her speech, occasionally catching the interest of the two as she pointed out animals nearby. Y/n let their head rest against Lyney’s shoulder, unable to see the way the tips of his ears turned red.
In the sky, the sun shone brightly– unobstructed by clouds.
“You know…” Lyney started once they’d separated from the rest of the aquabus riders on their way towards the Opera Epiclese, “when we uncovered the whole scheme behind my first show here, I had nightmares for a week straight that you’d been the one drawn.”
He squeezed their hand but didn’t look at them. His eyes were trained forward as they turned away from the rainbow roses lining the path to look at him. Out of the corner of his eye, he could see the frown adorning their lips.
“What brought that up?”
Lyney’s eyes flickered to their before he looked away again and started steering them towards the Icewind Suite installation.
“I figured you’d be home the other day, and when Monsieur Neuviellette barged into your room and you weren’t there…” He trailed off. “I’m not saying you have to tell someone everytime you go out,” he backtracked frantically when he caught Y/n looking away. “It was just, so unlike you to disappear like that.”
“Sorry. For scaring you guys, I mean.”
The two fell silent as they took a seat along the edge of the installation. Lyney set the box of treats between them and Y/n leaned back on their hands to watch the dancing machines.
“Oh, one, I’m supposed to tell you to stop climbing up to my window before you get arrested. Apparently the other day wasn’t the first time father’s caught you.” Lyney nearly choked on a blubber profiterole as his face turned nearly the same color as his vision, making Y/n laugh. “Secondly, why did you come looking for me the other day?”
Lyney stumbled over his words for a minute, still stuck in a coughing fit as he regretted not bringing anything to drink.
“I-” he coughed a bit more, “I wanted to tell you that Lynette and I got a show in Sumeru.”
“Really?” Y/n gasped, clapping their hands together. “That’s amazing, when is it?”
“A few months out, but Lynette and I have to visit the venue sometime next month to make sure everything will work.”
“That sounds fun.”
Y/n took a bite of one of the madeleines, turning back to the sweeping dance. Lyney propped his elbows up on his knees and leaned against his palms, watching them.
They looked over at him from the corner of their eye before inclining their head in confusion.
“What?”
“I want you to come with us.”
“For the show?” Y/n asked around another mouthful of madeleine. They shielded their mouth with their hand before swallowing. “Obviously, if you need me backstage.”
“No, well yes, but I mean next month. I want you to help us make a unique trick for our first international show.” Y/n stopped mid bite as Lyney continued. “I know right now you just come and go as you please, and that’s fine if you want to keep working at the Palais Mermonia, but I want to offer you a proper position in our show.”
Y/n sat up straight and stared at their half eaten madeleine for a moment before popping it into their mouth.
“I’ll think about it,” they said after they finished it.
The answer seemed to satisfy Lyney as the magician smiled and turned to watch the dancing mechanisms. Across from them, the sun began to droop low enough that it washed out the show– its light glancing off the shiny metal and into the audience's eyes. They took this, and the completed sweets, as a sign that it was time to move on.
Lyney once again took the lead, looping his arm around Y/n’s and leading them back to the aquabus station.
Once back in the main court, he dragged them off to hotel debord where they had dinner before he once again dragged them off without an explanation.
“Alright, I wasn’t going to ask, but what’s all this about?” Y/n laughed as the magician dragged them through the court.
Streetlight had already turned on as the sun was hidden behind the high walls of the court. Lyney was no longer holding their arm but had a tight hold on their hand as they raced through the city.
“I haven’t seen you in four days, need to make up for lost time,” he laughed.
Lyney dragged them all the way out of the city before he slowed down again so they could walk side by side. He gently swung their hands back and forth, smiling as they ran their fingers over some of the calluses on his. They followed a practiced path down to the beach as the sun cast a golden glow over the landscape.
Y/n stopped suddenly when they hit the sand, causing Lyney to be yanked back, and took a deep breath. Lyney found himself smiling at this as he took off his shoes and socks.
A gentle tap at their knee lowered Y/n’s gaze to their feet Where Lyney was kneeling.
“What are you doing?” They asked, feeling their face heat up.
The magician grinned and carefully raised one of their feet to his knee where he began to take off their shoe.
“Taking your shoes off.” They yelped and grabbed his shoulders to balance themself as he removed the shoe and sock. “Other one.”
“I can definitely do that myself,” they laughed awkwardly.
“But I’m trying to spoil you,” he hummed as he set their other, now bare, foot down. He wrapped his arms around their legs and rested his chin against their abdomen. “Now how about a swim?”
“Are you trying to get me in my underwear?” They laughed, trying to ignore the heat spreading across their face and down their neck.
Y/n was so preoccupied with their own embarrassment that they missed the red tint that had also begun to cover Lyney’s face.
“If it makes you feel better I can strip first.”
“Ah, you’re serious.”
The realization stunned them, their thoughts running a mile a minute as they wondered if this had been a date in the first place. Not that they minded, but they couldn’t recall Lyney calling it a-
“AH!” they shrieked as Lyney wrapped an arm under their knees and the other around their back.
“Or we could just do this,” he laughed.
They shrieked and flailed as the deceptively strong magician picked them up and carried them over to the soft waves, then tossed them in. Y/n spluttered as they surfaced, wiping the water from their eyes just in time to watch Lyney jump in after them.
The wave hit them in the face, causing them to inhale water and start choking again.
“Are you okay,” he laughed, standing next to them in the water.
He wrapped an arm around them, patting their back as their head hung between them.
“You jerk,” they wheezed. “Now our clothes are wet.”
They sighed and kicked off the seafloor to float on their back, and Lyney joined them. He intertwined their hands so they wouldn’t float apart, and the two lay there watching the sky darken and the stars appear.
“Lyney?”
Y/n’s voice was muffled by the water in his ears.
“Yes?”
“Was this a date?”
The magician swung his feet under him and began to tread water as they’d floated away from shore. Y/n did the same, but grabbed Lyney’s shoulders to stabilize themself leaving the two practically nose to nose.
“No, if it was a date you’d definitely know.”
“And how would I definitely know?” Y/n inclined their head.
“Well for one I would have brought you flowers when I picked you up, two I wouldn’t let you pay for anything-”
“You didn’t let me pay for anything.”
Lyney cleared his throat awkwardly. “And three I would certainly hope you’d remember me asking.”
“So your sister helps you dress up for all your outings with friends? And you always walk arm in arm and pull out their chair?”
“How did you know Lynette helped me pick this out?”
“Lyney, in all the time we’ve known each other I’ve almost exclusively seen you in your show wear. For the first month we knew each other I wasn’t sure you owned anything else, then I just found out you’re a bit of a workaholic,” Y/n chuckled and moved their hands to cup Lyney’s face.
Lyney moved his hands up to their waist.
“This isn’t a date,” he said, causing Y/n to look at him incredulously. “I was going to ask you out on a date when I brought you home,” he grumbled, making Y/n laugh.
They dropped their head to his shoulder as theirs shook with every laugh. Lyney hugged their waist as they moved closer and pulled them back to where he could at least stand.
“I-”
“Nope. I’m still going to ask you, so save your answer for then.”
Y/n pulled back with a wide smile and nodded before the two wadded back to shore.
Lyney used his vision to dry them off, and they headed back into the city– once again hand in hand.
As soon as they arrived back at Y/n’s place, they turned around with an expectant grin. Lyney had to admit that he was less nervous than he’d expected, probably because they’d already made their answer very clear.
He flicked his wrist, and a rainbow rose appeared in his hand. They giggled as they reached for it, but Lyney pulled it back slightly.
“Y/n?”
“Yes?”
“Would you do me the honor of going on a date?”
“I would love to go on a date with you, Lyney.”
Lyney didn’t let them take the rose, moving it away again as they reached for it, and instead tucked it behind their ear.
“How does dinner tomorrow night sound?”
“It sounds perfect,” they hummed as they reached up to hold the hand lingering near their face. “Goodnight, Lyney,” Y/n whispered as they pressed their lips to his cheek.
---
“So-”
Y/n yelped, nearly falling off the stool at their vanity when Lyney spoke from behind them. The magician was perched on their open window sill with one leg crossed over the other and the day’s Steambird in his hands.
“Good morning,” he grinned at them. “Anyways, maybe it was a date.”
He stepped into their room and handed them the Steambird.
There, on the front page, was a picture of them watching the Icewind Suite. Lyney was leaning towards them with his chin in his palm and a lovesick look in his eyes and Y/n was watching the dance. The headline read Magic and Justice on a date?!
“Lynette?” Y/n sighed.
“Lynette.”

Hi! Hello! I heard you wanted some requests! So, may I request the SDV bachelors with a crush or S/O who is coeliac? Basically, they're allergic to gluten and it can make them very sick if they eat it. Cross contamination is also a big issue (spoon touch bread -> spoon touch salad -> can't eat salad)!
Hope this isn't a bad ask! Have a lovely week! :]
Hi Snake, glad to see you in my askbox! 👋
And don't worry, that's a pretty good question. I hope you like this silly HC. Have a lovely week as well 😊
Alex:
Alex always reminds his grandmother about Farmers' gluten intolerance, as Evelyn often cooks pies, donuts, and other sweet pastries for a visiting guest at their house.
Paranoidly checks all utensils the Farmer will eat and drink with, making sure the cutlery has not previously touched wheat bread or similar food.
Fast as lightning, he is ready to carry the Farmer in his arms to Harvey's clinic if they get sick from accidentally eating bread.
Alex keeps track of his diet, because he is going to become a sports star, so if the Farmer wants, he will help with the diet (in consultation with Dr. Harvey, of course).
Although sometimes it is difficult for him to refuse the delicious pastries of his granny.
The Farmer doesn't want Alex to limit himself in this, but the athlete is seriously worried about the health of his friend (crush)/partner.
George benefits from it all ("More food for me!" "Grandpa...")
Elliott:
Oh goodness! Elliott didn't know about it.
But it's good that the Farmer told him about their gluten intolerance. He would not want to hurt his close friend because of his and ignorance.
"Excuse me, my friend, I'll leave you for a moment. Make yourself at home in my little cabin."
Elliott ran as fast as he could towards the Saloon.
"Gus, emergency! The table for two is still stands, but gluten-free meals must be served! This is important! Don't even touch the baked goods please, I beg you! I can't let them go to the hospital because of me, I can handle it if something bad happened to them! Goodness me!"
Gus knew from the first minute that the dishes needed to be served gluten-free, but the emotional writer still continued to punish himself for not knowing about Farmer's illness.
"He's a fine drama actor, alright" Gus thought, pretending he was still listening to the dramatic writer.
Elliott is willing to sacrifice his favorite crab cakes to keep the Farmer happy and healthy.
"I can make them without flour, just have something to replace."
"Gus, why didn't you say that! Then I order, for me and my partne-, I mean, a good friend! Oh, marvelous!"
Any whim at your expense, Mr. Writer.
Sam:
The Farmer has never eaten pizza?!
Sam is saddened by the realization that because of the coeliac, the Farmer is unable to taste the food of the gods, the great invention of mankind, the food without which almost none of his rehearsals with Abigail and Sebastian take place.
"Dude, it's just pizza." "Just pizza?! Seb, how can you say that!"
But without pizza-drama, Sam is now very careful about this information.
He doesn't give the Farmer any snack that has gluten in it.
Sam will tell his mom about it, in case the Farmer comes to visit and the musician himself is not there.
He also asks her if there is a recipe for gluten-free pizza.
"Because man, pizza is a great human creation that everyone need to try. And no intolerance should prevent people from being happy!"
(Sammy, it's just pizza)
Luckily for him, Jodi just happened to have a gluten-free recipe book. And, lo and behold, the pizza recipe is there too!
Jodi made it especially for the Farmer, as the Farmer is also her friend, a real sweetheart, and Sam seems to like them a lot ;) ("Mom!")
The pizza was really tasty. And the Farmer can safely eat it with Sam without fear for their health.
Indeed, the food of the gods!
Harvey:
Oh, Harvey understands Farmer very well. And not only as their doctor, but also as another person who doesn't tolerate gluten.
Friend or partner, he will never forget this when cooking if the Farmer dropped by to visit Harvey. He also doesn't forget about this when dispensing medicines and vitamins if the Farmer has caught a cold or other illness.
If they feel bad about accidentally eating a cookie, then Harvey will immediately come running to their call.
No wonder Harvey is very concerned about Farmer's health - he's a doctor after all, and the effects of coeliac can be very unpleasant (and sometimes life-threatening).
He still doesn't ever lose his temper if there's an emergency, so Harvey's friend (or spouse) is in safe hands.
The doctor is sorry that this disease is incurable. But it's not even that he and the Farmer can't eat pastries (Harvey dislike sweets and pies anyway, preferring vegetables and healthier food). It's just that even the slightest touch of your cutlery with gluten food can provoke an exacerbation of symptoms.
But he will keep an eye on this as often as possible, and the Farmer will also remind Harvey of this if he gets busy and accidentally reaches for a box of biscuits in Pierre's store, confusing it with a box of rice.
Shane:
Coel-what? Can you repeat again?
It took Shane a little longer to figure out what the disease was. So the Farmer can't eat anything with gluten or they'll get sick?
"...Listen, I recently had a burger and pizza in the Saloon, and my hands are still a little dirty after eating. Should I move away from you?"
Shane immediately moved a meter away from the Farmer when they confirmed that cross contamination could also be a problem.
The Farmer feels guilty after this, but Shane told them not to worry about it. After all, it is not their fault that they are gluten intolerant.
"Maybe I fucked my own health, but I don't want to harm other people's health. I'm not a complete asshole."
Before meeting with the Farmer, he began to wash his hands more often.
Sometimes he will defend the Farmer at the fair if someone persistently offers the Farmer to taste the pastries.
Also, eggs don't contain gluten, so they can make a good launch for a guest who comes to Marnie's Ranch (or for a spouse's breakfast)
His chickens will never let you down. Good girls!
Sebastian:
"Oh, sorry..."
"Sebby, what are you sorry for?"
Well, doesn't that mean it will restrict his friend the Farmer from growing certain crops, like wheat, for example? It's just... sad.
Moreover, he just wanted to invite the Farmer to his basement for another Solarion Chronicles: The Game with snacks. But Sam always brings pizza and Abigail brings blueberry cobbler...
No, he doesn't want it to limit his friendship with the Farmer because of that. Therefore, Sebastian still invites the Farmer, promising that he will arrange everything.
Fortunately, Sam and Abby were sympathetic to the situation and prepared gluten-free snacks, since there was a lot of choice.
Although Sam was still a little dramatic. "They've never had pizza?! It's -" "Sam, shut up already."
The board game sessions were just as fun, and the seeki were delicious too.
Sebastian will now henceforth remember Farmer's coeliac. He also wanted to ask them out on a date- uh, he mean just have some fun time in the Saloon, play pool, maybe walk around the city after...
"A night with billiards and no pizza? Is this even legal? :D" "SAM!!!"

*Scarlet saunters towards the source of the chuckling. A few seconds later, you hear a shout. "What the hell are you doing with that baguette? What're you going to do? Bread me to death?" Selena chuckles and soon turns into a scream of agony. The sound of a bread hitting a hard surface and something akin to flesh fills the room.*
One of my favourite moments in D:R.

Hi skrunkly Bruno!
Sooooooo I was going to try to finish this for Purim, but... life. It happened. :'D Anyway. Here's a WIP!
...
The Purim play starts in an hour, and Pepa is running behind.
She grabs the last pieces of her costume, catching out of the corner of her eye a curly-haired, pigtail-topped head moving past the bedroom doorway. It's Felicidad, her and Félix's first grandchild. (With another on the way! Dolores is due in about seven months.)
“Fifi,” Pepa calls, stepping beside the four-year-old. “Where are you rushing off to?”
Felicidad raises the item she’s holding.
"Ojos 'man," comes the reply, unabashed and matter-of-fact. She sounds so much like her mamá. In her hands, the pastry looks especially large: a golden, savory-sweet puff ball baked around a boiled egg and topped with two crisscrossing strands of dough. It makes Pepa smile, remembering how Felicidad once asked about the pastry, named after the villainous character, Haman. The little girl's nose crinkled, and she'd let out a shriek of laughter when Tío Camilo shifted shape while explaining that the boiled egg was Haman’s ojo and needed to be plucked out and eaten (alongside the bread) because it’s oh so delicious.
“Oh, I see,” Pepa says, and as the two of them turn the corner together, things click into place. “And where might the ojos de Haman be rushing off to?”
“Tío 'buelo Bruno’s tummy!”
...
End of WIP. But, Pepa and Felicidad get to Bruno's room (where he's in costume, probably playing Esther), and Pepa's like, "So, are you asking your great-niece to bring you food now?" And Bruno is like, "W-what? No! She was staring at my stomach for five seconds and just ffft! dashed off!" 😂
Someday I'll finish this 😭 Anyway, ojos de Haman:

Hello, First of all I wanted to say, I love your story.👍 Second of all I love the dynamic you’ve done with Gallantmon and Beelzemon, it can be both comedic and very serious. ❤️
Third of all I have a question for you Beelzemon
Do you like bread (in general). (Show the answer to Gallantmon)
Or
What is your favorite color (Again show Gallantmon the answer)
I’ll be leaving now…far thee well.👋
Hello! Thank you so much for saying that! I appreciate that. I've enjoyed the dynamic between Dukemon and Beelzebumon too.
As for your questions:
Beelzebumon: Hell yeah, I like bread! Baguette, brioche, challah, sourdough, melonpan - you name it! I'm what yah might call a "connoisseur" of the finer things in life. vwv Oh, but I love hot buns most of all, Dukey. ¬w¬ *wiggles his eyebrows*
Dukemon: ... *palms his face* Things were going so well, but then you had to ruin it.
Beelzebumon: And as for my favourite colour, I think black's pretty cool. vwv I wear it so well.
Dukemon: I saw that one coming. =P

Nine Five people you'd like to know better
Tagged by @thana-topsy Hi lol 👋 wasn't expecting this (/lh)
[3 Ships]
1) Celann and Charlotte. (holding them in my hands) my babies. I love they
2) I'll honestly just put it out there, Chriscariot. That album rewired my brain. The absolute gay yearning. Did you guys know about the Gospel of Judas. I've been so normal on Tumblr. Not in real life. Not in the slightest. Bible fandom has some fun stuff
3) the Mo/Resa/Dustfinger/Roxanne polycule. I am correct.
[First Ship]
I actually think that's gonna have to be Zuko/Sokka. Except I was unaware of what shipping was at the time because I was young and offline. I did think they should go out tho.
[Last Song]
Funeral Derangements (Ice Nine Kills.) Honestly surprised it wasn't something off the Judas album
[Currently Reading]
Inkheart. Again. Yes I finished the series and turned right around and started it again. I did finish The man Born to be King last night tho. Haven't seen the original JCS but yeah. That Judas and 2012 Arena Tour Judas 🤝
[Last Film]
..... Highlander.... I caught a glimpse of it a while ago and there was this cunty old man. I immediately called Bread over and well. There was not as much of him in the film as we hoped. What did we watch (hello??? Plot??? Please???) That goth guy was having the time of his life tho honestly good for him. What a bizarre experience.
[Currently Craving]
The arrival of the books I ordered. I'm gonna be so real. I am so impatient for them to arrive. Even ignoring the fact that Mortimer (my darling little blue jay plush) is being shipped to God knows where (it's Rhode Island. I feel it in my bones that for some reason another package has been redirected to Rhode Island.) Other than that, uh... draw juice. Would like to draw thing

Gonna tag @argisthebulwark @fabeong @greeneyed-thestral @forpiratereasons and @snake-snack-stede my beloved mutuals 🌹 hi guys :)

Hello 👋
Working on a to-do list app in react today. I'm trying to figure out the best way for me to learn from following video tutorials, especially when the presenter doesn't explain much.
I also baked an onion soup bread! Turned out pretty tasty if I do say so myself 🥰

Hello 👋😊
I just wanted to check on you and check on the 393 windups
(including the three bastard) how does it feel raising theme?? and how is it going? Was a good was a bad?
Mostly good now, but originally they outright did not enjoy my prescence. They didn't hate me, they just disregarded me - I had to really win them over and I think I did a good job with that.
Though I will say that I'm not really raising them. I am kind of a father figure, but they're like small adults and very self sufficient. But they have a kind of relationship with me and DJ that's both kind of a family and... a presidency.
The windups have and had their own community. But when DJMM came along he originally had a relationship with them that I can kinda describe as "an old woman at the lake who brought bread" and "the ducks." He took very little care of them and just would, like, allow them in his prescence, but the Windups really started to like him on account of him being a Music Man and him being somewhat nice to them (very uncommon experience) and they started spending more time with him.
Eventually he started taking more and more care of them and took responsibility for them and surprisingly they didn't hate this authority, and simultaneously all elected him as both president and their collective "dad." DJMM does have some authority over them and does make some decisions for the Windup's community but the windups are not entirely dependent on him like a complete father and son relationship.
However, with DJMM as president in mind, I am not vice president. This guy is vice president.
Tumblr media
I'm vice vice president. And it took a lot of heartfelt "campaigning" to get elected.
All but 3 voted for me. Those three voted for Globus Mobus to be vice vice president, which is strange, because he was not even running for vice vice president and Globus Mobus also voted for me. I wonder who those 3 could've been.
Though "raising" them is a big honor for me. I'm not just in it for DJMM, I wanted to actually be accepted by Windup Society. Raising them is more like being a shepard and corralling them, making sure they're alright and out of trouble, and doing things like piggy back flights. They usually handle themselves but sometimes I have to stop them before they take over the world or something.

Hello 👋
Eric Bittle, Paris, December 2019
Thanks❤️❤️❤️
Hello! Have some cavity-inducing morning fluff <3
_X_ _X_ _X_
Paris, Dec. 2019
Bitty steps out onto the balcony of the hotel and breathes in deeply, grinning delightedly at the scent of fresh bread in the air. He’s in fucking France, home of croissants and baguettes and patisserie and almost more baking than Bitty can handle.
And he’s got a smokin’ hot husband to translate for him during the most perfect trip Bitty could have ever asked for.
The Falcs have a weird two-week gap in their schedule after Christmas this year, and Jack had surprised him with plane tickets and hotel reservations and all manner of booked tours of wineries and bakeries and dairy farms for ten straight days. Their hotel is on the outskirts of Paris, and surrounded by more tiny, cute cafes than Bitty can count. He wants to try them all even though that’s impractical at best.
It’s early. So early that Jack didn’t even stir when Bitty eased himself out of bed. He hasn’t been up at this hour since Jack stopped waking him up for 5 AM checking practice back at Samwell. He sips at his frankly decadent coffee and watches the street start to come alive below him. The lack of sleep is worth it for Bitty to see all his French fantasies come to life. The local shopkeepers are teasing each other and there are people with tiny dogs and baguettes in the baskets of their bikes and across the way a kind-faced older woman is watering her window boxes and humming.
Bitty watches it all and doesn’t keep track of time, content to observe the domestic scene playing out below him. He’s so at peace he doesn’t startle when two strong arms wrap around him from behind, the smell of Jack’s aftershave surrounding him. He feels Jack press his smile into the side of his head and sighs happily.
“You’re up early, bud,” Jack mumbles.
“Was jus’ watchin’ everything down there,” says Bitty, not taking his eyes from where a cat is stretching in the window of the little bookshop.
“Shoulda bribed you with a baguette to get you up for checking practice, eh?” chirps Jack.
“That wouldn’t have cut it. One of those chocolate croissants I can smell, however, might have gotten me out of bed a whole ten minutes earlier.”
Jack snorts before stealing a sip of coffee. “I’m pretty pleased with how things turned out, chocolate or no chocolat.”
“Me too, sugar.”
Jack steps back, tugs lightly on Bitty’s wrist to get him to turn. “Come get dressed and we’ll go pick a table outside to sit at so you can keep people watching, okay?”
Bitty grins and reels him in for a quick good morning kiss, stretching up on his toes to make the angle better. He pulls back, glad to see Jack’s eyes shining with love back at him.
“Mr. Bittle, you’ve got yourself a deal,” he says, and lets himself be pulled back inside.

Hello! Out of curiosity, I was wondering if you had any sci-fi fic inspiration from other authors here for your alien series. I’ve read it numerous times and I think it’s so fun to write about.
Aliens, I mean, because you honestly do get the most creative freedom in this genre. It’s fun to come up with all sort of species and creatures and places with no chance of being told you’re wrong because you made it all up yourself! Don’t you think?
Hi hi 👋 to answer your first question, no I did not draw any inspiration from other authors on Tumblr for my alien series (I think you mean breed? Cuz I also have my sci-fi medley au with multiple aliens from movies) for me, when I got into K-pop, my two top groups were exo and b.a.p, who both had alien concepts, so this is almost my bread and butter, honestly. And also, I enjoy the genre as a whole and wanted for more fics to be out there with the sci-fi influence.
I do agree, though. Writing aliens is oh so fun. Being able to have the freedom to create worlds and types of creatures within the genre is great. But also that way that they're learning about the human world gives them a different level as a character and that's very fun to play around with.
Even within my sci-fi medley, deciding what I want to include for Scott ridleys Aliens, the furyans from chronicles of Riddick and the Predators, is a lot of fun. Researching but embellishing what I want, it's a fun blend of fiction and my own imagination.
I'm happy to hear you read my alien stuff and that it provokes these kinds of thoughts. I love these kinds of discussions 😍😍😍

the top 3 🔝 undesirable products
👋 Hello 👋 ⠀ As the folk wisdom says - you need to eat breakfast yourself. With what it is impossible not to agree. ⠀ In order for the day to be as productive as possible, the body needs a charge of energy, so I never miss breakfast. Unfortunately, many underestimate the importance of the most important meal. Refusing a morning meal, a person does not receive the right amount of nutrients, the deficiency of which is very difficult to compensate during the day … ⠀ Have you ever thought that the foods we eat in the morning affect our mood? ⠀ So, the top 3 🔝 undesirable products: ⠀
Coffee ☕️ (strong diuretic, on an empty stomach can negatively affect the cardiovascular system; alternative - green tea);
Fried eggs🍳 (it is absolutely impossible to eat fatty and fried in the morning, cooked in lard or butter 🧈 fried eggs are too heavy for the stomach);
Sausage (I repeat, the stomach will not thank you for salty, smoked and fatty; the alternative is wholegrain bread with chicken breast and vegetables). ⠀ ❤️ Start your day right, friends! And let it go exactly as you planned!
