UGH why is found family shit so hard to search for <- has extremely specific tastes and preferences and only checks out new things he’s been eyeing about twice a year on average

#why can’t the thing that fits my exact specifications just manifest into reality huh.#I think the main problem is like. I can read a found family into anything.#you give me a group of characters and as long as I like them enough I can read that dynamic in.#but other people don’t always see it that way! they see a team or a friend group or whatever!#so things I’d probably latch onto like an orphaned duckling are filtered out!#I’ve literally tried checking tv tropes for shit like... ‘you’re like a son to me’ or similar tropes and the results were. mixed.#I need a new father-son dynamic to latch onto like a leech #STAT #unfortunately ‘shows with father-son found family in them’ is NOT a common media list qualifier! weird!#that or it’s the same shows over and over across different lists.#YES I want to watch an anime with found family in it NO I do not want to watch spy x family or one piece #(falls dramatically onto the floor and refuses to get up)#>:IIIIIIII #cole talks

and no wonder morty believes rick could just up and replace him any day. because there’s infinite versions of him, after all. because there’s infinite other things that are better than him. because, for the longest time, every other day, rick kept on telling him how replaceable he is.

no wonder he was scared that hug wouldn't have been real.

but, truth is, rick would’ve jumped after him (if he had thought morty was in real danger).

truth is, rick would have performed in front of a crowd for him.

truth is, rick would anything, just about anything, for him. he would travel the longest distances just to get him back. he would spoil him with gadgets and gifts. he would forgo the chance to see his wife again just so he could spend the rest of the evening with him.

I was going through the list of legion arms to pick one for a drawing, and…

Left Arm of Steel: Geppetto’s name is faintly engraved on them.

I was curious if this was true! From what I can tell, no. I did look at the textures though and I saw there was the symbol for the workshop union, and I couldn’t tell from just looking at the model where said symbol was, so I checked against the UVs, and…! It’s inside the model (I had to delete a portion of the model to give the inside view here). I wonder if maybe that’s the mark Geppetto/Venigni leave on all the legion arms, but I’ve only checked the textures for this one.

I also wonder if the name bit wasn’t meant literally (as in, "the symbol is his mark," etc). Either way, very sexy.

ok so ive been watching the firefighter show bc i enjoy procedurals (up til i cant take the bad writing anymore) and like. i know fandom so i know why the Big Ship is what it is. i was looking forward to seeing what kind of dynamic they actually have in the show tho! thinking yknow theres gotta be Something to start off of right. and uh 1) its really not very satisfying (sort of be told theyre close rather than be shown why they are) 2) i find eddie so uninteresting. like by far the worst of the cast. idk if its the performance or the character writing but dear god

#iiiiiiii dont wanna tag this just in case #sorry if any of u thinks im wrong. i enjoy the rest of the cast so ill keep watching and hopefully ill change mind but #so far. very underwhelming for me tbh #just finished s2 as well so like i did give him a fair chance i think
