Soooo my girl @basicbunnny went to Japan and got me TOYS!!!!

She went to McDonald’s and got me a Doraemon Happy Meal toy! She said they have Happy Meals there that are mini pancakes!!! So cute! Anyways, the yellow thingy on the top of his head pops off and becomes a spinning top!

And she got me some Sylvanian Families exclusive toys!!! Including a microwave (with a spinning glass turn table) and cute little foods! Rainbow Dash had a little bite....

4/07/2018- Pony acquisition post #476: *****AHHHHHHHHHH HUGE THRIFTING LOT OF G1 AND G4********

Year released: 1983, 1984, 1986, 1988, 2013

ahhhhh MY GIRL @basicbunnny thrifted me this AMAZING lot of ponies at a Goodwill Outlet, and I finally have them on my hands ;.; . These ponies were desperate for a good bath and they came out looking amazing! Let’s not delay any further!

I got many early release g1s, and all are beautiful. I got a Cotton Candy who is much darker than the release I have - she is the concave version while I have the FF version. I also got a Blossom who is much more...pink? Than mine, mine is quite a bit more grey...maybe mine was the MO version and this is the concave? Any help?? I also got a G1 Birthflower pony (my very first!), Medley, Surprise, and Confetti. Confetti is my first second set rainbow pony, but is unfortunately  baity...she has highlighter all over her and is sticky to the touch but she has beautiful hair!

I also got my VERY FIRST ADULT SEAPONY-Seawinkle! She has a rattly body (her weight got loose...), can I fix this? Her head isn’t really popped off though but I love her (actually the more I look at her...she looks male to me. Male seahorse!). Also with Seawinkle I got Baby Pony Surf Rider, and two beautiful So Soft Ponies- Skippity Doo and Gusty! Their flocking is beautiful and Skippity Doo even has her original curl! 

I also got TONS of baby ponies! Baby Cotton Candy and Baby Blossom match their moms that I got, and I also got Baby Big Top and Baby Toppy the Newborn Twins, and Jangles (but no twin Tangles!), first tooth Baby Lickety Split, the White Valentine Twin (I LOVE HER!!!), and an upgrade to my Baby Lucky as he even has his Bowtie! 

Here’s the last set of G1s I got from this lot! I got both Daddy and Mommy Sweet Celebrations and they are MINT as mint can be! I also got Kingsley the Lion the pony friend, Mirror Mirror (my first magic message pony) and Braided Beauty the Brush n Grow pony, as well as a Big Brother Salty that is MINT as MINT can be! AMAZING!

We got some G4 in this lot too, because apparently you NEED a Pinkie Pie in each thrifting adventure lol. But this Pinkie is from the Target Exclusive Pinkie Pie Boutique and she has black and white accents to her. The Twilight Sparkle molded pony is from an Equestria Girls set, and lastly we have a Winged Daisy Dreams!

EVERYONE got a nice bath and they came out all quite nice! I need some help with some restorations from you guys but otherwise I think I did a good job cleaning them up. I love them so much and can’t thank @basicbunnny enough!

Original Condition: Good-bait

Flaws: Lily has pindot mold (?), various marks and dinginess to many of the ponies, Seawinkle’s weight is detached, Confetti has highlighter marks and a sticky body, etc. etc.

Restoration materials: soap, shampoo, conditioner, magic eraser, toothbrush

Current condition:MINT-POOR!

07/02/19: Pony Acquisition Post #369: G2 Lot and Basic Fun Blossom!

Year Released: 1997, 1998, 2018

I made a nice little purchase from one of my pony collector friends on Facebook and got some super nice G2s! I haven’t gotten a new G2 in a while, so it was about time!

My favorite from the set I got is this poseable Light Heart, originally coming from the canopy bed playset. She is made of a hard plastic and is a tad smaller than other G2s. She is completely poseable as her legs all move independently, and her head moves up and down with the rest of her neck! She reminds me of some other 90′s horse toys, like the ones that Barbies sometimes came with. I love her poseability, as well as her gradient pink on her hooves!!

Another lovely pony I got from this purchase is Dainty Dove, from the Wedding Chapel playset! She is in the same pose as Queen Sunsparkle, so her legs move so she can sit down. I love her calm, pastel colors. I wonder who she’s marrying?

I also got a Magic Motion Ivy, when you twist her head her leg moves! She stick her leggy out real far....And also, I got another birthday Light Heart, who I already had but she included her for free. So she will be for sale or trade! Let me know if you are interested!

My girl @basicbunnny also went thrifting and got me a Basic Fun Blossom! I was worried since she had marks on her that looked like pen, but with a quick swipe of a magic eraser it all went away! She almost looks brand new, and that’s because she isn’t too old. So sad to see that she’s already in a thrift shop....

I compared her to my G1 Blossom, and she’s VERY purple!

My girl @basicbunnny got me this adorable Pikmi Pop llama plush for my birthday! She smells like coconut to me and came with a charm, a pin, and a card! I LOVE HER

7/02/2018- Pony acquisition post #493: G1 Babies!

Year Released: 1985

My girl @basicbunnny scored more G1′s at the Goodwill Outlet! She has a talent for finding G1s in the wild that I just don’t have unfortunately. Oh well, at least these two cuties found their way home with me!

Baby Ribbon was from the Beddy Bye Eye set in 1985 (her eyes shut when she is laid down like a baby doll’s) and Baby North Star is from the first tooth baby pony line in 1985- look at that big white tooth she has!

These guys had some surface dirt that washed off pretty easy, the only thing I couldn’t repair was some highlighter mark on Baby Ribbon’s back leg and a regrind mark on Baby North Star. Other than that they are lovely!

Just one more thing...why did Baby Ribbon only come with ONE SHOE???? Where is that girl going with only one shoe on??

Original Condition: Good!

Flaws: surface dirt, ribbon has highlighter mark on her back leg, North star has a regrind spot on her chest

Restoration materials: shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, magic eraser, soap

Homegoods was well...good to me! I got this super cute Calico Critters Pizza Delivery set! It goes with the brick oven bakery that my girl @basicbunnny got me for my birthday. This set is adorable and comes with a hedgehog as well as a cute cart with a opening back that you can put one of the five pizzas in to deliver! I just don’t like the paper boxes you have to put together but everything else about it is adorable!

I took probably my last trip ever to my local toys R Us today! It’s MUCH more empty than it was the last time I went- just look at the picked through pony aisle! I ended up getting a few art supplies with my patients, a cute Paddington figure set (I’ll post more pics later) and a cute articulated Animal Crossing Villager figure for my girl @basicbunnny!!

I decorated my Calico Critter townhome and I am so in love with it! There are two lamps that light up (via battery power) and the set did come with some furniture, but overall I used all of my other furniture to make it all pretty! @basicbunnny also helped me decorate when she came over and made a pillow fort for the babies outside!

9/16/2017- Pony acquisition post #440: G1, G3, and G4 Thrift HAUL!!

Year released:  1985, 2007, 2011

YES! My local Savers got me some great toy pulls! Along with some ponies, I even got some cute Num Noms and other toys for my girl @basicbunnny.

Anyways, pony wise I got a G3 Strawberry Swirl in the Core 7 pose that I’ve always wanted! This version of her has much brighter pink hair than her original release that I love! I also got a Fashion Style Princess Luna from the Target 2 pack released years ago, and even a G1 Baby Frosting with the blindfold from the party gift pack tied around her neck like a bandana! How lucky am I to get a G1 with an accessory!

The ponies cleaned up pretty well as well as the other toys. I got a cute unicorn figure as well as some little people figures that I might keep too...the reindeer might look cute in a Christmas display!

Original Condition: Fair

Flaws: Messy hair, stray marks, Strawberry Swirl’s ear is nibbled a bit
