WC/RW DAY 11: FIVE PEBBLES

this is pebblestar [creative ik /j], the leader before peachstar, who died with most of his clan in a tragic flood

in life, pebblestar was a sickly cat. no cat quite knew what illness he had contracted, but it was killing him fast, and he was desperate for a way out. a close friend of his had suggested temporary leadership, to see if losing a life would save him. moonstar, leader at the time and pebblestar's sister, tentatively agreed to this plan-- though she only had one life left.

she lost this life, having to transfer it to her brother. pebblestar cut himself off from the rest of his clan, dwelling in regret and grief, realizing too late that her death was entirely in vain. he was still sick. and yet, despite himself, he was angry. he didn't understand quite who he was mad at-- moonstar? his friend? the stars themselves? pebblestar found it so difficult to justify his anger, but it lingered as he dug himself deeper into a hole, a grave with his name on it.

he only opened himself up again upon his deathbed, with the stars as his silent, mocking audience

as a starclan cat in present-day, he led amberspark to drizzleclan via a fox trail, using her rage to guide her to a better place

are you currently taking any requests for doctor who edits? i'd love to see a post of rose noticing things the doctor doesn't i.e. the london eye, the steel that locks them in Downing Street, how hot it was in the long game, the TV aerials in the idiot's lantern, the little girl in fear her etc. paired with "rose would know" quote...if you aren't taking requests or care for the idea obviously disregard lol just a huge fan of your pretty sets and figured I'd give it a shot
