Hey there.

Pretty sure you might ship Rick and Jerry together, if so how do you see their relationship being like? Moved out or living with fam as secret lovers, either or is fine.

So, I think the best way I could describe their relationship, to me, is just... different. I suppose if I had to get more specific, they're a bit antagonistic, but also regard each other with some type of care and companionship.

The show tends to frame their dynamic as bitter rivals, who couldn't get along, but really, they have a lot more in common than they seem to realize and I think it just shows in the little moments where they do express concern for each other.

Future!Controversial here; sorry, I went a bit over bored on the ask, and decided to look at both possibilities! I just really like exploring their dynamic and characters (more specifically Jerry, because he is my favorite). Also, TW for mentions of abuse.

If they got together during the divorce arc, I think it would be a bit messy at first.

Maybe Jerry is still struggling to get over Beth, trying to figure himself out and how to pick up all the broken pieces that she left him with. What are his interests? What does he even look for in a partner? All this wondering, and his low self-esteem would definitely not help him mentally, but he's still willing to try and figure it out.

Then Rick comes into the picture, occasionally visiting him under the false pretense that Morty is worried about his father, when really, it's Rick who's worried. At first, he's harsh and cruel towards Jerry, because he can't just show that he cares. This leads to much bickering between the pair, with most of it directed at Jerry and his shite life.

Despite himself, though, Rick does little things to make Jerry's life easier, helping him find a job, ordering him food, buying him things. Nothing big or extravagant, but enough to make Jerry slowly realize that Rick isn't actually as bad as he seems.

And maybe somewhere along the line, they start catching feelings for each other, leading to much denial, because "It's wrong to be in love with your ex-father-in-law, Jerry, what is wrong with you?" and "Why in the fuck would you even remotely care about the little parasite that got your daughter pregnant at seventeen?"

Overall, I think, eventually, there would be a confrontation with Jerry being the first to confess, because as much as he'd like to deny it, Rick is a coward when it comes to love.

Their relationship would bloom and develop into something of a quiet lull of understanding, where Rick will still be a little distant sometimes, but he shows his care for Jerry more than he used to.

Now, if they ended up together pre or post the divorce arc, I think it would play out more the same, with a few changes here and there.

Jerry would still have a hard time figuring himself out, and the constant abuse from his family (more so from Beth and, occasionally Rick, than anyone else) would not help at all. He would have a break down when he knows one else is around and look through old photo albums of him and his side of the family, because he is desperately searching for something to motivate him, to tell him that he has other interests outside of his family and outside of Beth.

He eventually starts to grow distant from the family, because it's so obvious that they don't want him around, but he still can't bare the thought of being without them, because they are his family, no matter how shitty they treat him, and he still want's to try, if not for them, then for himself, just to prove that something in his life wouldn't result in failure.

Morty is actually the first to notice his dad's change in behavior and brings it up to Rick, because, even if his dad can be a fuck up sometimes, he still does care about him just a little, and the last thing he needs is for his dad to go and do something brash or life threatening.

Rick brushes Morty's concerns off, but does check on Jerry whenever the rest of the family is out of the house, asking him little things that he already knows the answer to, such as where the vodka is, what Jerry's planning to make for dinner, or if there's anymore hand soap, because the bottle needs to be refilled in the upstairs bathroom.

Jerry was admittedly startled by the way Rick was regarding him, because it wasn't normal. It was weird, and every time he expected to be insulted because of the way he cleaned the house or berated for doing one thing instead of the other. He was on edge most of their interactions, but after a while, he began to grow used to it.

Some part of him even liked being helpful, because that's all he ever wanted to be, and if he could be helpful to the smartest man in the galaxy, then he could be helpful to anybody, right?

Eventually, just as in the previous explanation, feelings start to make themselves known, and with those feelings comes even more denial, because "Oh my God, you're a married man. He is your father-in-law, why are you getting so flustered around him? Why are you even thinking about him?" and "You don't give two shits about Jerry. You're only doing this because Morty is worried, not because you actually care about this pathetic asshole."

And eventually, their would be a confrontation, and once again, Jerry would be the first to confess, because, no matter how much he wanted to just ignore his feelings, he needed to know if they were reciprocated (he had doubts they were), in order to get Rick off his mind.

Of course, Rick tries to tell Jerry that he hates him, but he can't force himself to say something so untrue, because he really does give a shit about Jerry and his feelings, even if he tells himself he doesn't.

Once everything was said and done, they kept their relationship secret. No one could know, because what they had was just so fecked on so many levels, but they still loved each other and wanted it to work out.

Sometimes, Jerry and Rick would have to find a way around their family, try to be inconspicuous when they stood closer to each other than was probably normal, or when Rick seemed to find any excuse to touch Jerry, whether it be on his shoulder, hip or arms, he would find an excuse, and other times, they would catch each other in moments of calm, when it was just the two of them in the house and they wouldn't have to worry about Beth, Summer or Morty walking in on them. They could just enjoy each other's company.

Alright alright alright digimon adventure: episode 21, go!!! Last week I was interested to see if the pretty vague ep 21 preview was gonna be a mostly dull fight type filler ep or if the reason for the vagueness was there was too much plotty stuff going on for them to reveal. It’s the latter, I’m happy to say!

It was really cool!! There was a lot of good stuff so YAY! Anything I write here will be a spoiler but let’s just say that T is a very important letter in the alphabet! multiple Ts, in fact!!

Now last week’s episode was A LOT. We rescued Takeru who no one even knew needed rescuing, gained and then immediately lost the Holy Digimon, got him back in the form of a digi-egg, and then immediately lost THAT too. Honestly I get why it’s Chosen Children and not Chosen Adults - adults would be like “are you KIDDING me all this work with NO PAYOFF I am gonna SUE”

Patamon’s digi-egg has been abducted by this guy... Skullnightmon? It seems he was a Xros Wars character. I had to look him up because at first I tried “Scarlnightmon” because Idk I was thinking Scarlet Night??? like night of blood and death??? idk. and Google tried to autocorrect it to “Scranton.” Uh... yeah. Skullnightmon makes more sense because of the BIG ASS SKULL on his breasplate. -.-;

It occurs to me how little I know about any Digimon series other than Adventure X’D I mean, I’m not gonna do anything to change that, but.... yeah I’m gonna continue to mix up stuff like this. His loyal steed is Darkmaildramon.

Yamato, of course, is immediately like Protective Mode On.

So at first I was a bit worried that this ep was gonna just Move Things Along as usual and Yamato wasn’t going to react to his little bro randomly being in the digital world. Let alone in the clutches of pure evil up until just recently. When you’re caught up in battle it’s admittedly hard to find time to Talk about stuff but COME ON

Fortunately, thought we don’t get a lot of Talking, we do get a bit. Like this cute moment where Takeru tries to explain what happened and Yamato’s just like “We can talk later” and gives him this adorable head pat. Ok, fine. I can live with that. It’s better than nothing xP

They arrive at the creepy castle which Taichi recognizes as the place Ogremon directed them to. It looks very evil and in front of it is a giant equally evil moat.

They also find this sinkhole sort of thing which Takeru promptly rushes over to stand at the very edge.

Yamato: OMG kid I look away for ONE SECOND

le gasp! Takeru finds a shiny feather at the edge of the hole! It’s a sign of the holy digimon! We should go investigate!

Oops first we have to find this gross Garurumon knock off... Its name is Splashmon but I think it should be “MeltedCrayonGarurumon”

Splashmon is apparently also from Xros wars and can turn into liquid and take on the form of other Digimon... I don’t know if he’s always this shit at it though. Maybe being controlled by evil is the reason for all the meltyness because he looks pretty cool in his wikia:

No but seriously... looks like we don’t get cowardly, crybaby Takeru this season. The kids getting to y’know Be Human about stuff is a thing it looks like I’m going to continue to miss in this reboot. But on the other hand, I genuinely DO enjoy Takeru throwing his all into saving Angemon.

Skullnightmon sticks Angemon’s digi-egg here where it gets chained down by evil vines. Very evil. Also seems like overkill, I mean, it’s an egg, what’s it going to do, roll off the platform?

We then switch gears and rejoin the kids in the real world, where Koushirou has, apparently overnight, if not in the last five minutes, created an update for their digivices which enables them to always be in contact with their partner. I don’t really get the details but that appears to be the size of it. We also catch up with Mimi and Jou.

At first I thought this was a school, but no, IT’S MIMI’S HOUSE. She has a PERSONAL CHAUFFEUR. Like, 99 Adventure Mimi was well-off, that was especially clear in 02... but... WOWZA.

Mimi’s parents look as stupid as ever xD I love them. They’re joined by her grandpa. After having been gone for three days with no explanation, Mimi’s parents are just like “Don’t you want to take it easy at home today?” when she says she needs to go out. Mimi’s just like “I gotta do what I gotta do!” (ok she actually quotes her grandpa from back in her intro ep but) and leaves like nothing happened.

.... I think grandpa might be dead. He doesn’t move the whole scene. Doesn’t even change his expression. I guess his mouth is a bit more open but that could just be because rigor mortis hasn’t quite set in

Meanwhile in Jou’s (normal, average) apartment, we meet SHIN-NIISAN!!! He’s as much of a dick as ever. I love him. Jou’s parents were mad because 1) he was gone for three days, 2) he skipped cram school, 3) he lost his textbook. I think Shin’s basically like HECK yeah finally my little bro shows his cool side! So he decides to be an enabler. GOOD, seems like Jou needs someone to be on his side at home ;_;

Their Digimon partners are traveling in the interwebz like... this... -____-;

They end up tracking Calmaramon, who is indeed Calmaramon.

I remember from Frontier when Renamon evolved to Calmaramon everyone gave her SO MUCH GRIEF for not being sexy. Wasn’t there like this whole episode devoted to how beautiful Izumi’s evolutions were and then Calmara the Squid Woman shows up and everyone’s like “ewww gross yuck!!” And ok I know she’s evil here too. But guys I JUST THINK SQUID WOMAN IS WICKED AWESOME OKAY. Like that is a LOOK. Versace take notes.

Like can we get some body positivity??? There is NOTHING wrong with being half-squid. Zephyrmon is not better just because she wears lingerie! Bet she can beat everyone at the swim meet. Also tastes yummy fried or raw with soy sauce.

ok I’m done. I’m serious about loving Calmaramon though. I have so many Frontier issues I totally forgot about >_>;

*cough* so yeah Calmaramon and those little green Digimon virus things take control of some boat and Koushirou’s like Uh-Oh Danger Will Robinson. Piyomon tries to attack with Magical Fire and is surprised, for some reason, when it does not do much. They are very much outnumbered and Calmaramon is clearly a much higher level than them so WHY do they think child-level is gonna be enough??

So this is cool!! Koushirou appears to be learning to read digi-code! He sounds out Calmaramon’s name by himself. We still pretty much have the question of why Taichi could just read digi-code fluently (well, almost? he randomly couldn’t read everything at the fortress if memory serves) and Koushirou has to sound it out... will we get an answer to this or?? Like if it were Takeru or Hikari I’d just assume it’s their Magic Baby powers at work but it was never made clear if just Taichi can read like this or they all can, and now it seems like maybe they all can’t since Koushirou’s trying so hard here...

Meanwhile Takeru...

Splashmon turns out to be really tough to beat, because he’s lost his mind and therefore holds nothing back xP He crushes MetalGreymon and WereGarurumon to the ground, infecting them with miasma.

At this point I was disappointed that Taichi and Yamato were still so clear-headed... like when are you gonna worry about your partner dude?? He gets the Crest of Courage because he’s never felt fear in his life??????

But then, their next move fails and WereGarurumon de-evolves back to Gabumon, while MetalGreymon is still in Splashmon’s clutches. He proceeds to pretty much make MetalGreymon’s arm wither away...

And Taichi FINALLY looks worried. ABOUT TIME.

Takeru has made it to the bottom of the hole, where he is startled to find this giant eye. I would also fall right on my bottom if I suddenly came across a giant eye.

Giant eye seems interested in Takeru’s digivice, so Takeru politely lets him have a look. BLINGGGGGGG.

Giant Eye: Ow ow ow turn it down!!!

Takeru: Sorry it’s LED!!

Taichi runs to rescue MetalGreymon in the... most ineffectual way possible... I love him...

The miasma can even hurt humans, it appears. Even though he’s in pain, Taichi doesn’t give up, and we get to hear Yamato shriek “Taichi!” all scared and adorable-like.

Taichi passionately reminds MetalGreymon about what they’re fighting for and succeeds in motivating him to be less dead.

Taichi: GIMME A V DOT THE I CURLY C T O R Y VICTORY!! *CLAP CLAP* VICTORY!! *CLAP CLAP*

Yamato: Incredible... so this is the power of a Pep Talk...

Taichi’s Pep causes MetalGreymon’s arm to... fall off... but it’s ok because it sprouts a long wiggly band of light uhhhhhh which then turns into a Giant Gun. So all is well. because MetalGreymon didn’t already have enough guns

MetalGreymon succeeds in defeating Splashmon and we seem some purple crystal sort of thing disappear, my guess is that’s what was controlling him. Agumon falls from midair and Taichi catches him like this.

They cute. They also need a break. Well, Agumon needs a break, I honestly think Taichi doesn’t even have an Off button...

Just when you think things can’t get weirder... Giant Eye appears.

Takeru’s on top of him looking all cool! Till he immediately falls!

The eye belongs to ElDradimon!! I love “animals with worlds on their backs” so this is totally up my ally. My first guess about the eye was that it was gonna be one of the digital sovereigns but this is still pretty cool.

Yamato doesn’t even lecture Takeru about going off on his own and not hiding like he was told. SO DIFFERENT CANNOT COMPUTE. But looks how happy Takeru is to be praised by his bro for helping ElDradimon. Awww.

I’ve got to now reevaluate how I think things will go down because I really expected Takeru to be something that drives a wedge between Yamato and Taichi. In the old days, Yamato was super protective but Taichi would let Takeru do whatever and Takeru got a little boy crush on him which fed into Yamato’s inferiority complex. But if Yamato’s not overprotective and Takeru is already capable on his own... New directions are good though. I won’t be sorry if they don’t rehash all that BUT I need it to be replaced with something else. Taichi can’t just always be serious, Yamato can’t just always be cool... I like the reboot but I am still on edge about the character stuff.

... Yeah so ElDradimon was mega cool and then... he opened up his VACANT head... bahahaha.... bahahahahahahahahahahaha

So what I really liked about this ep was what I saw as parallels drawn between Taichi and Takeru on the theme of “Do anything to help your partner.” Takeru can’t stop looking for Angemon’s egg, that’s why he goes into the hole after finding the feather. He might not know what’s doing but he’s still gonna do it. Taichi knows a bit more and he’s usually so calculating and strategic, but when MetalGreymon looked on the verge of defeat he threw caution to the wind and tried to save him himself. Okay, not the first time we’ve seen this, true, but it did seem to be the running theme of the episode.

I know I didn’t really talk about how apparently the kids can now update their partners with new powers/gadgets?? by believing in them enough... but y’know that just sounds like the sort of thing a kid’s show would do. I almost miss the card game from Tamers... it would be cool to see the kids have to think and strategically choose what they want to equip their partners with. That was part of the enticement of Tamers, where Adventure was more inexplicable magic, Tamers relied more on intent. Taichi is such a strategist (and of course there’s also freaking Koushirou) that it seems a waste to not involve the kids in the decision making more.

Next week’s ep preivew was a bit hard to follow but 1) the animation looks better than this week thank heaven and 2) it looks like fun. And we get more bamf Takeru! Woot. Can I still say woot in 2020? I can because of senior citizen privilege right?

Imaginaerum by Nightwish. Always, always, always. The old Unheilig albums Moderne Zeiten and Puppenspiel, Alles was ich bin by Staubkind, Resist by Within Temptation which just came out, but also The Unforgiving from a decade or so ago. Within Temptation were my entire early youth. 4. what are your favorite songs? That’s a mean question, it depends on the type of day and what I’m shipping the most at the moment. I adore The enemy by Oh Fyo, Cinderella by Scarlet Dorn has a special place in my heart, Große Freiheit by Unheilig will make me cry forever and always. 5. what do you think the best popular song of the year is so far? I’ve absolutely no idea of chart music. Pop music isn’t my tea. 6. which genres of music do you tend to like the best? Symphonic metal, gothic rock, hard rock, industrial, alternative in general... Heavy ballads can be really cool too. 7. what is the best concert you’ve ever been to? Staubkind, Cologne, 9.9.2016, Warm-Up for the big farewell concert of Unheilig the next day. Man, I was so done afterwards. Beautiful, wonderful, cried my eyes out, spoke with some of the bandmembers to thank them for everything, got to know people, stayed a friend’s of mine... Unheilig got huge in Germany in 2012, just through the radio I think. I found Lord of the Lost through their (then) label which had been the same as Staubkind still have, Within Temptation I discovered through Rhia Eisblume when I was 13 (deep, deep gothic sub-culture)...   12. when/where do you first remember having heard your favorite song? PERFORMANCE 21. how do live performances, whether they’re from your friends or professionals, tend to make you feel? Like heaven on earth, another place entirely, something more, something greater than myself. Concerts have kept me up for the past six years emotionally and made me feel alive again during my depression. They’re endlessly important to me. Not many a year, but three or four over the course of a year. 22. singing in the shower or singing in the car? Neither 23. if you were to become a musician, what kind of musician would you be? Piano player. 24. if you could pick one instrument to learn how to play, what would it be? As I had to stop playing the piano at age 14 because I was supposed to do more for school, that. I’m tld that I’ve got a good singing voice and I do love it, I’ve been in choir for five years and played on stage in two musicals during that time. 26. have you ever been involved in any music programs? which ones and for how long? Yes, Im glad I took piano lessons and I would have been much more stable mentally if that wouldnt have been taken from me as a ventile from school hell.

Der Graf from Unheilig, he has retired two year ago and stopped doing autograph sessions in 2010 because he always served all his fans or none as he didn’t want to prioritise people. “Why does everyone keep staring at me?” I asked Rick under my breath. The man walked alongside me, hands stuffed deep into his pockets with a deep look of annoyance on his face. He turned to me, eyes boring into mine with a look that just said; seriously?

“Uhh, a-are you really asking me that? Literally every person here is either a Rick or a Morty, and you don’t know why you’re getting stared at?” He deadpanned, rolling his eyes as he looked back ahead of him.

“Well, when you put it like that…” I sighed, did he have to make me feel so dumb? “Do other people really never visit the Citadel? Do all these guys only ever see their own faces?”

“P-pretty much. This is precisely why I didn’t wanna bring you here.” He cast a glance my way and glared. It was true, Rick had definitely put up a fight when I’d asked him to bring me along on his trip to the Citadel of Rick’s. He was going to meet another Rick, from my understanding to sell him an untraceable portal gun. Apparently those were hard to come by on the Citadel.

“Don’t worry. I’m not going to cause you any trouble; I just wanted to see this place for myself. An entire city of Rick’s.” I glanced around the place in awe, at the sea of familiar faces that passed us by on the street. I noticed their eyes following me, sweeping up and down my form, smiling appreciatively. I averted my gaze from one particularly lecherous smirk.

“Yeah, alright. Keep it in your pants; I know how wet you get for me, but this trip is strictly for business.” Rick teased, grinning down at me. I blushed under his gaze, and immediately went on the defensive, opening my mouth to protest; I didn’t get very far though. “Anyway. We’re here.”

Rick and I stopped outside some seedy looking bar. I gave him a questioning look, which he ignored, and I was pushed forwards towards the entrance. I stumbled in, capturing the attention of every person inside; every one of them a Rick. There were no Morty’s here. I stared down at the ground as Rick led me towards the bar, he had an iron grip around the top of my arm. We approached the barman, a Rick with slightly longer hair that was tied back into a ponytail, he was wearing an unbuttoned navy waistcoat over a white shirt.

“Is K-18-B here yet? I got a meeting with him.” My Rick asked him. The barman looked between the two of us, raising a brow when his eyes lingered on me.

“He’s in the back.” He nodded, and Rick pulled me off in the direction of what I assumed was ‘the back’. We took two steps, before the barman spoke again. “Hold it. Only Rick’s are allowed in the back; s-she’s gotta stay out here.”

My Rick sighed heavily, staring at me for a long while, before digging around in his pocket. He pulled out some money, and pushed it into my hand. “Just- just get yourself a drink and sit your ass down on this stool.” He manhandled me onto the chair before leaning in close. “Don’t even think about moving, got it? Y-y-you’re gonna sit here, keep to yourself, and wait for me.”

“Okay.” I nodded, honestly feeling kind of nervous at the prospect of being left on my own. Rick nodded, but seemed hesitant to leave. His eyes lingered on mine for a good few seconds, before he finally turned and headed towards a door just left of the bar.

“What’re you drinking?” The barman asked, capturing my attention from where it stayed focused on the door my Rick had just disappeared through.

“Uhh… you have like, normal soda here?” I asked. He nodded. “Alright, I’ll have coke. Please.” I smiled, and he set about getting my drink. He pushed a glass over to me, leaning his elbows on the bar, watching me intently. I held some money out towards him, but he didn’t take it.

“No charge.” He shook his head, smirking. “It’s uh, been a long time since I saw anyone other than a Rick in here. Even longer since I saw a woman in here.”

“Yeah?” I said, trying to be polite as I took a tentative sip of my drink.

“Yeah. You’re young, aren’t you? W-what’s the deal with you and that guy, he your grandpa or something? Is- is he from a dimension where he has two granddaughters?” He asked me, leaning further over the bar. He was rather uncomfortably close at his point, and held my glass out in front of me in a bid to create some sort of barrier.

“No.” I said, laughing at the idea. Rick laughed too, but it was a deep, gravely, flirtatious laugh. I wondered what it said about me when my natural reaction was to shiver, and I felt a drop of arousal roll down to my core. I cleared my throat and tried to distract myself with the condensation on the side of my glass.

“So- so what, he’s like your sugar daddy?” He smirked, tilting his head. Movement caught my eye to the right, and I turned to see another Rick slide into the seat beside me. This Rick looked much the same as my Rick, but he wore a dark brown suede jacket instead of a lab coat.

“I’ll have a gin and tonic, and whatever she wants.” The new Rick nodded his head in my direction.

“Umm, actually I already have a-” I held my glass up to him, and he interrupted me mid-sentence.

“Yeah y-yeah, after you’ve finished that one. I’ve never seen you on the Citadel before.” He turned his whole body to face me, his knee brushing against my thigh. I shifted in my seat.

“Yeah, I gathered that.” I nodded, looking down into my glass. “I don’t think there’s anyone here who has.” I added.

“You’re just precious, aren’t you?” He said, reaching out to tuck a lock of hair behind my ear. I flinched away from his touch, and he chuckled.

“Y-you’re just gonna come up here and start hassling her? J-174, I’ll gladly stop serving you.” The barman said, straightening up and slamming a palm on the bar.

“Oh! S-sorry? Did you already call dibs on her?” Suede-Rick asked, mocking an apologetic tone. “Y-yeah, whatever. Like she’d wanna go home with a classless bar-wench like you.”

“Uhm, assuming I’m going home with anyone?” I scoffed, interjecting the conversation. The two Rick’s looked over at me in surprise.

“A little feisty, hmm? I like that. C-come on, baby. I know you’ve got a thing for Rick’s, why else would you be here?” The one beside me cooed, sliding a hand across the bar towards me. “Y-you know not every Rick is identical, right? Meaning I can guarantee, I’m packing more than he is.” He said under his breath, jabbing a thumb towards the barman.

“Implying you’ve seen my dick. Huh. Funny, I didn’t believe the rumours.” The barman snorted, looking at me. “I’d stay away from this one, h-he likes peeking at other guys’ dicks at the urinals.”

I pressed my lips together and avoided the two Rick’s gazes. I stared longingly at the door my Rick had gone through.

“Shut the fuck up, F-14-Z. Y-you know this guy comes from a dimension where they all fuck their relatives, right?” Suede Rick spat defensively, and I wanted to scream.

“That’s bullshit, and you know it. That’s dimension F-14-X.” The barman deadpanned.

“Ahh, close enough.” The other one waved a hand dismissively. “Wh-who are you most into sweetie? Come on, be honest.”

“You’re a pair of absolute pricks, she obviously isn’t into either of you.” A third Rick made himself comfortable to my left. His hair was dyed black and he was completely expressionless. “I’ve been sat over there just listening to you guys, you have any idea what you sound like? Ar-are you really that desperate for a bit of pussy?”

I turned and smiled at him gratefully, feeling the urge to kiss him; finally a Rick who seemed somewhat sane-

“She obviously needs a man who’s managed to get laid in the past five years. Trust me, baby, I’ll give you a good time.” He added. Nevermind.

“Oh for f-” I stopped myself from cursing, taking a moment to breathe. I gulped down half of my drink, hoping that it would somehow make the time go quicker. How long was Rick going to be?

“Oh, look at that. You’re almost empty.” The barman commented, taking away my glass to top it up.

“Thanks.” I mumbled.

“So what’s your name, princess? I never did catch it.” Black haired Rick asked, but before I could answer, someone else did.

“Her name is (y/n). A-and if she’s anything like the one from my dimension, you’re wasting your time. She’s not going to spread her legs for just any old Rick.” A fourth Rick appeared behind me, resting a hand carefully on my shoulder. “But a Rick who’s had experience with a (y/n)? Maybe that’s worth something, hmm?” He purred into my ear, it made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up, and another shot of arousal coursed through me. I hated my body. Why couldn’t it tell the difference between my Rick and the Rick’s around me now?

“You know an alternate version of me?” I turned to look at the Rick behind me, despite the circumstances, I was fascinated by the odds of this happening.

“Oh, I know her very well.” He chuckled darkly. He bent down to whisper in my ear. “Do you like getting spanked too?” He asked in a sultry tone, and my whole body just heaved with warmth. I stood up in a flash, my barstool scraping against the floor. The four Rick’s blinked at me, and I looked between them all; not really knowing what to say.

“Um…” the pathetic noise rolled from my lips. It was like the God’s were smiling down upon me in that moment, because I saw my Rick emerge from the back. He took one look at my situation, literally surrounded by other Rick’s, and stalked towards me with a menacing expression. He shoved the Rick from behind me out of the way, and grabbed me by the arm, practically dragging me out of the bar. My heart was pounding, and I felt an achy throb between my legs. I don’t know exactly what had turned me on so badly, but being manhandled by Rick was definitely contributing. He pushed me up against the wall, caging me in with his arms either side of my head.

“Were you flirting with them?” He asked me, his tone abrasive to my ears but like honey to my arousal. I shook my head immediately.

“They just… swarmed. Like vulchers.” I told him, and he didn’t look surprised.

“What did you expect, hmm? I told you this wasn’t the- wasn’t a good place for you. Y-you know, I bet you were just praying for something like that to happen. What, you wanna get gangbanged- get fucked by a bunch of me’s? Is one Rick just not enough for you, hmm?” He seethed, though I could tell his anger wasn’t completely genuine.

“No, I… I didn’t want that to happen, Rick.” I said feebly, feeling my knees weaken.

“I think- I think you need to get a smacked ass. Don’t you?” He dropped his voice to a sensual growl, and I damn near whimpered. I nodded my head. Rick chuckled filthily, and pulled out his portal gun. He shot it at the wall, and pulled me through it.

I’m starting with the aromantic headcanons because alphabetical order ok ?

- Rick Sanchez (from Rick & Morty)

“ I hate to break it to you, but what people call "love" is just a chemical reaction that compels animals to breed. It hits hard Morty then it slowly fades leaving you stranded in a failing marriage. ... Break the cycle Morty, rise above, focus on science. “

I know this quote seems to tell us Rick has loved once and now is a bitter old man focusing on destroying every potential of affective relationship (and Science) but it’s Rick is not someone who romantically loves easily, and his take about “love” is a little questionable. We saw him in several sexual relationships in the show, being jealous sometimes, extremely distressed after a break up, but was it about the creatures (how I can call a planet ? A fucking planet) he “loved” or about himself, like everytime, about his own personal issues first (big ego, depression, loneliness etc) ?

My headcanon is : Rick Sanchez can’t love romantically but still feel the need to bond and create attachments (even if he says to hate it !) 

- Saitama (from One Punch Man)

The tragedy of the strongest man of the planet. Saitama can beats any monster with one punch, but nobody aknowledge it, except his friends. Saitama is not seeking for love, even if he would be interested by having female fans sending him love letters (he is a little jealous of Genos for that). What he really wants is the recognition of his work. It’s something about ego, not especially in a bad way, but everything feel so dull for him, he doesn’t feel even proud of himself. He has hard time to make friends, and don’t look interested in anything, even love.

I don’t know if it’s only because he’s depressed or because he is aromantic, but maybe it’s both, so my headcanon is it’s both.

- Jonathan Crane aka The Scarecrow (from Batman the Animated Serie)

Again a scientist. I’m so sorry about that, because aromantism/asexuality is often related to “cold, without emotions” (a common stereotype for scientists too) in many heads and it’s an awful prejudice.

Jonathan Crane is a criminal obsessed by the fear. He is also an ex psychology teacher and the creator of a toxin which makes infected people hallucinated their worst fears. We don’t know a lot about him in the animated show, so of course, my headcanon is influenced by the comics versions. Jonathan is someone kinda passionated about his subject and is not a social person by nature. I can’t deny he’s a little bit the stereotype I talk about, the cold emotionless scientist, kinda sadistic and hating people. 

To be honest, I don’t think he hates people (he was teacher after all, maybe not a kind one, but still, he liked to teach and tried several times to come back to it), and he proved he can feel some kinship sometimes, when he saves a young lady (in the comics), using his toxin on her agressors. Also (yeah, not original but) he was victim of abuse when he was a kid, abandoned by his parents and mistreated by the person who had to take care of him. People rejected him because he was weird and socially unfit. He was betrayed (even if he...kinda deserve it XD) by his colleagues of the university, losing his beloved job, teaching and researching. Not surprising he can’t create romantic relationship after all of that.

1. Do you sleep with your closet doors open or closed? oh god, they HAVE to be closed. my childhood fear of monsters hasn’t really left. D:

2. Do you take the shampoos and conditioner bottles from hotels? it depends - if i’m in a hotel in ireland, i won’t normally bother. if it’s somewhere like disneyland, then fuck yeah! little souvenir i guess. :D it’s not stealing, shut up and leave me alone

3. Do you sleep with your sheets tucked in or out? they have to be in. otherwise, since i wear a lot of pyjama shorts, i wake up with bare legs and then i’m cold. D:

omg i made her head to big XD but it suits her weirdly enough XD. alot of people have been asking to make a sort of profile picture of my rick and morticia along with a description so they can understand it better and also for possible rp's? well thats what they said. so i decided to do her in a new style of mine that i created a bit. in issue two i'll use the new style cause the old one is bothering me alot XD. so here she is.

Morticia:

- she is 13 years old, so practicly a teenager.

- she likes jokes and puns. she smiles alot and just beeing happy most of the time.

- she hass never been romanticly treated before. a crush only once but it wasnt very majurly. 

- she knows a little bit how to fight and to defend herself. shse likes to use her enviroment or her wits to win a fight or to get out of sticky situations. 

- she likes to helpt those who ask for help (because she thinks its rude to just butt in)

- she coopes up alot of negative emotions and keeps it cooped up. she only talks about it to her rick doll and now with her new rick, he’ll force her to talk about it to releaf herself from some stress and burden. 

- she hass a custome made rick doll. every rick looks alike but she wanted the hair to be the same as her original rick. she keeps the doll mostly in her bedroom. she holds it during her sleep or whenever she feels negative emotions she just holds it in her arms.

- she’s a healing morticia or healing M for short references. basicly she is like a therapist for other Rick’s and mortys. she does it in her own way. she lets them talk and tell their stories, unless they get uncomfortable talking all the time then she asks questions. but after that she gives them a little advice and tells them that they can decide wether or not to follow her advice or not. she also comes to check up on guard Rick’s and Guard Mortys for their mental check ups. Somethimes she is called in to check other departments then the guards one. thats why she can easely communicate with other Rick’s and Mortys now. though new ones always seem to catch her offguard.

- she really hates check up. Doesent matter if Doctor Rick, surgeon Rick or even emergancy Rick does them. She just doesent like the check ups.

- she doesent like guns at all but she’ll use one if ever needed. 

- she hass never seen a Summer before and would be suprised if she saw one though. 

- she is afraid of Beth because she hass a drunk addiction, wich turns her into a voilent drunkard.

- she isnt afraid of Jerry though, because she knows he’s a scaredy cat.

- Jessica in her dimensions is a guy called Jesse and is the biggest bully in the school. he tries to act though and once made a huge mistake towards Morticia, to belong with the cool kids. but got beaten up by her and became the laughing stock for a short while. Morticia doesent like Jesse at all, no matter what he does. 

- her Rick (Rick E-294 who died) was a really kindhearted person. he stayed sober for many years until Beth visited him one day and he reverted back to beeing an alcoholist. 

Morticia’s past: 

- A long time ago before Morticia got born, there were 2 teenagers. the girl was called Beth and Jerry. They fell in love and Jerry got Beth pregnant. They both used to live in the old house were Rick E-294 lived in to. Jerry and Beth never got married even if Beth was pregnant. they left the house after they discovered that Beth had a misscariage. They pursued their dreams and eventually turned them in reality. But they left Rick all alone in the house, thinking they gave him freedome to do whatever the hell he wanted to do. anyways Beth became a succesfull heartsurgeon and Jerry became a succesfull movie maker. They never lived togheter though cause their relationship wasnt stable anyways. One day though, Jerry and Beth mett again at a reward ceremonie. Needlessly to say that they both got very drunk and one thing led to another. Jerry got Beth pregnant again, but Beth who blamed  Jerry, forced him to help her during the preganancy. after several months a baby girl was born. Beth and Jerry werent really happy with the baby, but still named her Morticia. They never filled in her last name for the sake of their careers. They kept the fact that Morticia was their child a secret from the press and other people. They raised her until she was 3 years old and then just left her on the doorstep of rick’s house. Rick who was suprised to see her, dint need that long to figure out who she was and were she came from. He took her in and loved her like a reall grandpa would love hiss grandchild. He thought her everything she needed to know and even had to bring her to school. He really dint want that, but he knew that she needed school to develope more social skills. One day when Morticia was 5 years old, she came home from a long day at school. She found her Rick passed out on the floor, from the alcohol. It was the first time ever she saw Rick in such a state so she panicked and tried to wake him up. What she dint know was that Beth was in the house to. Beth became violent towards Morticia and for some reason was very jealouse and angry at Morticia. Beth even tried to kill her by choking her, but Morticia struggled and got free from Beths grip. Morticia ran upstairs and ran into her bedroom. Once she was inside she locked the door and hidden under her bed, since she thought it was her safespot. Beth ran after her but got locked outside, in a fist of anger she started to bang onto the door and tried to barge in. Beth started yelling harmfull words and even demanded that Morticia came out of the room. Suddenly everything went quiet for a few minutes before Rick knocked 3 times on the door gently and said that it was safe to come out now. Morticia heard hiss voice and crawled out from underneath her bed, she ran towards the door and unlocked it. She opend the door and hugged her Rick who was crying and apologized towards her multiple times. He promised her that no one else would ever hurt her ever again. After that he and Beth argued over what she did and how wrong it was, eventually it ended in Rick sending Beth away and told her to never come back again. After that day Rick was never the same again. He gave into the lust for alcohol into hiss system and started drinking more and more. He eventually became her abuser, he hit her and somethimes it was so hard that something would snap inside her body. He would cut her arms for some unknown reason, he pulled her hair out so her hair would become shorter. No matter what he did to her, she still loved him as her grandpa. Because she knew her Rick was in there somewhere, he somethimes would surface from all the layers of alcohol and just be himself, even if it was for a short moment she still enyoied it. She would forgive him every time he did something bad to her, but she couldnt help but secretly cry in her bedroom. Morticia had to learn how to cook by herself so she would get something in her system since Rick stopped taking care of her all in one. One day when she was 7 years old, Rick was out of booze and took Morticia to a dimension filled with weird looking creatures. He took her to a bar wich was also filled with weird looking creatures. He was talking to a bartender called Bobligzafruck, but everyone had to call him Bob since hiss name was often misspronounced. Anyways, Rick ordered alot of booze but dint want to pay for it. So he shoved it all in a bag and threw Morticia into the crowd of aliens so he could escape. Lucky for her Bob caught her and even offered her a place to stay in hiss apartment. Bob gave her a necklace wich had a translator stone on it that literly translates everything even animal language. Morticia was so gratefull towards Bob that she started to work there and even earn a bit of money. After 2 years 2 guard rick’s and one guard morty came into the dimension to haul Morticia to the citadel of Rick’s. Bob dint like the idea ofcours since she considered him like a father, she reashured him everything would be fine. She was brought to dr.Rick for a full body check up, hiss Morty scanned her body and she dint know what was on that little screen but they had these worried look on their faces. Dr.Rick asked me if those aliens dealed some damage towards her. Since hiss scanner reveals past damages that are now either fully healed or still healing, they leave specific marks before they completely dissapear. Anywyas, she was to tired from work to even care so she just told him the truth that it was her own Rick that dealed the damages to her. After that they carried her to the council of Rick’s, were she saw her own Rick standing there. Her Rick was accussed of abussing other Mortys that belonged to other Rick’s. The council already received her file on their watches as they then declared that Rick was to be send to the machine of unspeakable doom, while Morticia was free to go home. Rick snapped and tried to attack her, but before she could comprehend the situation, a shot was released at her rick’s chest. He fell onto hiss knees and told her he was sorry for everything and that she had to be a good girl now. She forgave him and told him that she loved him. Rick slumped into a sort of hug and told her he loved her to, he passed hiss portal to morticia, before he died. Hiss body got dragged away from her while she was still watching. She cooped up all the sadness and frustration from the situation inside of her and had to move on if she wanted to survive. The one who shot him was guard Rick, now known as captain Rick. Guard Rick was the one to bring her home and even gave her the Rick entrance badge. He said that he was sorry for killing her Rick and that this was the only thing he could give her. She told him that she forgave him because he was only doing hiss job and asked him what the badge was for. He basicly told her that he knew she had the portal gun and whenever she needed to visit the citadel she just hass to carry the badge with her so she could come in and out without any problems from the system. It took her years to move on properly but she still is a little touchy on the subject of her own Rick. She hass been Rickless for a few years.

pocket mortys:

- She was there because Mysterious Rick made her leave her dimension, cause he wanted to catch her. But she defeated hiss cat Morty. After that Mysterious Rick wanted to catch her everythime he found her. But she used her enviroment, wits and feminine charms to avoid getting captured. Mysterious Rick eventually couldnt find her anymore so he spreaded a anonymouse rumour about an elussive Morticia. After that she just had to hide deeply into a forest so she could safe the batteries of her portal gun to go back home after the whole event was done. But no matter where she went into the forest, alot of diffrent Rick’s found her but there was something she observed when they found her and tried to capture her. They never look up into the tree’s because they asume that all Mortys and Morticia’s stay onto the ground. This was perfect for her. She climbed into the tree’s and even made a lasso from the vains so she could swing from tree to tree if ever needed. There was a time though were she was washing herself in the lake and a teenage Rick found her. Hiss face turned red and he was very startled by that. She took full advantage of that and made him turn around. she quickly got out and dressed. Before leaving she gave him a kiss on the cheek to confusse him and told him he was a sweetheart for letting her escape. She ran and climbed up her lasso and hauled the lasso in. She then blushed herself, super hard cause she dint believe what just happend and why did she do that kiss thing. Needless to say that during the pocket Morty event she had to see if she was alone of not. She also dissarmed traps to get to free food and left a thank you leaf on them. She frustrated alot of Rick’s. She also helped other Mortys to escape and be safe. She never got caught, never got chipped and learned alot during that event. After that it was announced that Pocket Mortys hass ended and that every Morty should report to Surgeon Rick. But as stubborn she was, she went to the portal where all the other Mortys were gathered. She really dint like check ups but she allowed surgeon Rick to do one either way. After that she went home and charged up her portal gun. 

fall of the citadel of Rick’s

- It was a pretty normal day, if u dint count the monthly check up by dr.Rick. She just left hiss office and was on her way to the Morty bar to get something to drink. All of a sudden the citadel got teleported into the galactic federal prison. It dint take long for the citadel to be overrun by criminals. She stumbled onto a bleeding guard Rick, she had to take a deep breath to keep calm and help this Rick out. This Guard Rick was groaning from the pain, she did the best she could and looked at hiss portal gun. She took it and send him to her dimension in her house and threw the portal gun after him. She found a laser gun and picked it up. She doesent like guns but she had to use it for this situation. She ran around with it and had to kill some criminals, she never killed before and this was her first time that she did. But she kept herself calm because she was gathering Ricks and Mortys togheter so they could escape with her. Eventually they ran into a dead end, it was blocked of because of the rubble. She opend up a portal and send every Rick and Morty she gathered into the portal wich led to her house. Before she left she saw one more Rick who was shooting furiously at all the criminals. This was bad, she dint want to leave this Rick behind but he was so consumed by anger that she wondered if she could bring him back or not. She dint have much time as the criminals were aproaching. She ran over to that Rick and tugged hiss coat. That Rick looked at her as she had this worried look on her face. Morticia basicly told him that he needed to calm down and come with her through the portal unless he wanted to die or something. This Rick just calmed down and staired at her. She just took hiss free hand and pulled him along. They both ran through the portal and it closed right behind them. Everyone in her house was beeing chaotic and she really dint like that. She stood on a table and told everyone to calm the fuck down. She told them that yess the citadel is destroyed and they might lost their Mortyc or Rick’s but right now everyone should help eichother. She knew she dint had much to offer but she told them to stay in her house untileverything was over. They caved in and helped eichother out by taking care of the wounded first and then some food. Yeah she dint have much food so she had to order in a bunch of it. This went on for several months, but atleest everyone started to cooperate togheter instead of fighting of everything. She also made shure everyone had somewhere to sleep, even if she had to give up her own room for it. She mostly slept on the ground with a pillow and a small blanket since she gave the big ones to her geusts. Some of the Rick’s had to help her because somethimes she was to tired to even order out some food. Basicly her healing Morticia kinda kicked of from there, not officcially though but alot of Rick’s and Mortys inside her house started talking to her seperatly from the rest and she just listend and gave them advice whenever needed. After those months passed, some guard Rick’s and mortys came to her house to teleport everyone inside it to the Dome of Rick’s. The dome is suppossed to be a temporary place for all Rick’s and Mortys to go to until they rebuild a better Citadel of Rick’s. That guard Rick who thought of this plan to build a dome on an empty planet filled with all sorts of plants and animals, but no citizens + it was outside federal juristiction. This guard Rick became Captain Rick and was also the one who gave her a healing M badge. Morticia isnt the only one though, there are several more out there who received this badge. Since that day she hass been working as a healing Morticia and is always ready for new appointments.
