[it has been a while since i talked about the shepherds but i never forget that each and every one of them taught chrom something or they are really super duper important people in his life, whether directly or indirectly by their actions or words. just a couple of things i remembered and i like to implement in my writing because mwah chef kiss to his character development (that intelsys thinks he is just a big dumb himbo who cant ride a fricking horse and uses falchion for cake cutting and even does not know how to peal a frikcing orange please that was gaius trying to make olivia smile im crying stop)
 frederick
probably the man. the legend. the myth who said something it send me to deeper thinking zone because gdi someone needed to slap that to chrom’s face. it’s in one of the dlcs if you couldnt save the citizens from that crazy grimleal (im lazy to search but you know what i mean right) and chrom is beating himself for not being there and frederick just booms drop that even the hero-king could not each everywhere;he’s human. he can help the people he can reach but he can’t be everywhere and for everyone thats why he needs to just focus on what he can do and chrom just wow...deep...surprisingly coming from you freddy and frederick lol-wait what? its just a good moment you will miss if u saved everyone. like this line could really save chrom’s tormented soul i kid you not. this line is just mwah mwah mwah. i love frederick for always knowing what to say to calm chrom and im just here...crying.... best big bro/father figure chrom could ever ask. pans and pots frederick for a very long vacation from this hell please give him vacation. he deserves it.
lissa
i will beat anyone if they say she is useless. bitches she cried for chrom when he couldn’t. she complained when chrom couldn’t. she did everything when chrom couldn’t because she wants to be of help to him. she looked after chrom the most and im legit cherish her so much. after frederick she knows how chrom beat himself over everything even if he didnt say it out loud she knows he is trying to take everything on his shoulders thats why she tried her little stunt to go and scout on her own to help him. i will treasure her. her pranks? anything to get him to loosen up. probably started as pranks but i can see her just trying to make him smile or just have a reaction out of him to loosen up. i love her man. i just love her. i hope lissa fire emblem awakening is happy forever.
vaike
the man. what can i say about vaike dude? the man makes chrom feel like his struggle against classes and ranks and all that crap is worth fighting it. vaike not seeing chrom as a prince, keeps bothering him in every possible way and that talks volume of the amount of trust vaike gives chrom. being from the slums--the slice in ylisstol affected the most of the 15 years war and the exaltship been shifted to emmryn and the slow healing process, yet vaike decided to give chrom the benefit of the doubt and trust him to do something about it. im here for my bro. i am here for the source of inspiration to chrom to keep going. right here. this man. the teach.
gaius
yodels into the next galaxy about the drama cd and i will never ever shut up about how gaius is the coolest motherfulucker for saving chrom’s ass because he is a stubborn lil beech. not only that the slaps of wisdom words at him. im here for someone frankly and all honestly tell chrom what is wrong with him 1,2,3 and just not sugar coat it. im here for someone to drag his ass and use him as a walking peggybank but you know showing him how a normal person spend money and enjoy his life. im here for gaius working from the shadows to support chrom. im here for this thief. now i wanna go and rewatch the drama cd...sobs..gaius..my love...my husbando ...
cordelia
listen. cordelia did a huge favor for chrom by getting vaike stronger. you dont understand he owe her. she made his rival stronger and as she said that it will make chrom stronger. bless her soul she knows how that muscle brain works.
maribelle
forever grateful she is lissa’s friend. chrom could entrust his sister to her and go without any worry to wherever he needs to go because he trusts that maribelle will have her back. in her debt for keeping lissa in check. thank you mlady. you are the best. it warms his heart to have someone by lissa’s side because of how tough her childhood was sobs...no brand and all ;a; thats why maribelle is just ...literally the heroine. three cheers for maribelle !!!
ricken
rolls on the ground ... listen .... come closer ...listen ... i am .... i care for this boy. chrom may have fans or whatever but ricken is just ... the best. the little brother he didn’t have. ricken fanboying over chrom makes him more eager to be the best role model he can--but not to the effect where he does not act like himself. ricken inspires chrom to do his best and work harder seeing the boy doing his BEST to be of help and honestly get chrom to notice his efforts. please. boy you are perceived but dont be reckless. u got magic. thats the coolest thing. he cant do magic. be the best in what you do. another lesson chrom had to remember when he talks with ricken. he got his swordsmanship skills but he should always strive to be better, to be the best ! not stopping his learning journey!
stahl
STAHL!!!! im crying the poor man. stahl reminded chrom that his words carry a lot of weight if he didn’t notice how he say them. stahl trying to present the best just killed him because he didnt want to disappoint chrom and chrom is just wait hold on what are you doing when did i--oohh...im sorry;; i didnt mean to burden you like that i just wanted to praise you;;; .... IM WEEPING.... stahl my son why. and it is honestly funny and insightful because chrom praise people left and right and as someone as stahl it can be a lot of weight on his shoulders--the expectations of being the BEST from now and on. it opened chrom’s eyes to choose his words more wisely. yes he is charismatic by nature but not all have the same personality you know. some their anxiety gets the better of them like stahl and their mind play tricks on them to make it sound like an order more than a praise. so yee.... sits in here ....my boy dont kill yourself please.
i will rant more but now my other hand is hurty hahah...what is going on hahaha...ahh...
i love the shepherds. they are chrom’s family.

Fire Emblem Awakening x Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Chapter Two
Just a couple hundred feet from where the Khajiit landed, he had watched as the two sides approached. Unable to hear from afar, it appeared to him they were discussing a bit of strategy, or at least that was what it seemed before the red clad army had attacked. Normally, Ja'vassa would jump in without thinking; he was never officially a part of the Stormcloaks, though since his sister passed, he always seemed to align himself with them whenever he encountered their skirmishes with the Imperial Soldiers. Since he didn't know which side was the 'right' side and which one wasn't, he pressed himself against a small, broken down structure; his outfit providing for perfect camouflage. He was perfectly content with watching the skirmish, but that was until he noticed a strange pair running into the scene. A young girl and elderly man; from what he could see, the girl seemed absolutely terrified of everyone around her.
"Just... just leave me alone!" The girl shouted, cowering from the man chasing her. Their sudden appearance seemed to have disrupted the skirmish between the red and blue armies. The elderly man's eyes widened after she yelled, "Oy! Quit with the yelling! Giving away our position would be bad, no?" He said, seemingly concerned with both armies at this point.
"Hey! Leave her be!" The leader of the northern army shouted, aiming a strange looking sword his way. "Ah, there she is.. consider this punishment for fleeing!" The red leader shouted in return. It seemed this was enough to convince which army the Khajiit should support, though he would remain behind just to see what would happen. After their sudden appearance and the brief timeout, the battle would resume; sword and spell clashed with much ferocity from both sides, it seemed the girl was slowly growing used to the man as he was genuinely trying to protect her. What was more surprising was the fact that the girl was able to transform into a dragon; it didn't seem that she really needed any help, but even with all that power, they were doomed to fall back. Without help from the other army, they were slowly being overwhelmed. The mercenary's sword had been knocked away while the girl had been separated from him, growing exhausted from the seemingly endless battle. She had been cornered by a pair of mages, both preparing lightning spells in the hopes of incapacitating her.
Before they could fire off the magic, Ja'vassa had made himself known to both sides. "Wuld... Nah Kest!" He shouted, using the Whirlwind Sprint to grab and move the dragon to safety, staring at the would-be attackers from behind his mask. The girl in his arms looked more surprised than afraid, as did the warriors watching the spectacle. "Who in the blazes are you?" The blue haired prince asked, staring in confusion. "I'll explain later, just worry about getting rid of the red guys!" Ja'vassa shouted in return, setting the girl back down. "You stay close to me... you should do the same." He said to the mercenary. In one hand, he wielded his signature war axe and in the other, had an Icy Spear spell at the ready. Once the confusion and surprise of yet another newcomer had died down, the battle resumed, but this time it was going in the favor of the prince's army. Ja'vassa's combination of speed, magic, and his shouts proved to be too much for the opposing army.
Trading magical attack for magical attack, and physical blow for physical blow, the opposing army would slowly be whittled down to just the leader and a few grunts. "Damn you.. this.. this wasn't supposed to turn out like this." Chalard growled, glaring at the Khajiit and the Prince. "Prince Chrom and this... stranger. My army may fall here, but soon you will suffer at the hands of Grima." He added, making a fruitless attempt to fight Ja'vassa's unplanned allies; this as one would expect turned out poorly for him. Being outnumbered nearly three to one, him and the remaining were quickly cut down, and those who chose not to fight have since fled from the battlefield. After what seemed to be an eternity, the battle between the two armies had finally come to an end, much to the relief of many of the combatants.
As one would expect, some introductions were needed. The girl had approached Ja'vassa smiling slightly. "Thank you for saving me.." She said to him before turning to the mercenary. "And.. thanks for helping me back there, I'm sorry for being so rude to you."
Ja'vassa shrugged, "Don't mention, I wasn't about to sit back and watch a child get hurt like that." He responded, soon being cut off by the girl. "I'm not as young as you might think.." She said, a slight giggle escaping her lips; though her statement was met with a confused look. "My people age pretty well, I'm probably around a thousand years old, but look! No wrinkles."
"I.. see. It seems I'll have plenty to learn here." Once again, Ja'vassa had been cut off again, this time by the leader of his unplanned allies. "You're quite the warrior, friend. I'm not sure where you came from, but.. I've never seen anyone with skills like yours. If you hadn't shown up, we might've lost this battle. Thank you." He said, extending his hand out to him. "My name is Chrom, leader of the Shepherds. Mind if we get yours?"
The Khajiit nodded, shaking his hand before he'd remove the mask to reveal his feline-features to a surprised Prince. "I am Ja'vassa, a wanderer from Tamriel." His own introduction only led to more confusion. Before he'd respond to the Khajiit, Chrom had turned to one of his allies. "Robin.. have you ever heard of that place?" He asked, whispering slightly. This question was met by a shake of the head, "No.. I haven't. Judging by his appearance, I'd assume maybe he's a Taguel like Panne?" Robin suggested, though it was clear he was rather confused. "I don't intend to offend you, but we've never heard of Tamriel before." He said to Ja'vassa, rubbing the back of his head in an awkward manner.
A soft laugh escaped the Dragonborn's lips as he listened to the pair, "I'm not surprised you haven't heard of it, Tamriel is beyond this realm. It's the land of my birth and depending on how my task here goes, it'll likely be the land of my death too." He explained, though before either the prince or tactician could respond, he had been met with an all too suspicious gaze. "Are you here to bring home to Ylisse or her people?" A tall, blue armored fellow asked, keeping a lance in hand. "What exactly is this task of yours?" Depending on Ja'vassa's answer, it seemed the knight was ready to strike.
This suspicion from the knight received a glare from the Dragonborn. "I assure you, I have no interest in harming anyone. I've been sent to do some studies of this world for my Lord. I cannot say for sure what his intentions are, but I simply intend to do as I was tasked. I do not know if he'll bring me back tomorrow or in a thousand years." This explanation seemed to be sufficient for the knight as he lowered his lance and stepped back. Chrom would be the next to speak up. "I apologize for Frederick.. he's a bit protective of the group, he means well, but he take some getting used to." He said, grinning as Frederick rolled his eyes, though the knight did nothing to argue that.
Now that the lovely conversation was over, Chrom had changed the subject. "Alright, while my tactician and I begin planning our next move, why don't you three join my sister for dinner at our camp?" He suggested, "After we're done, I'd like to extend an invitation to the three of you to officially join the Shepherds." He added, giving them a slight bow before heading off with Robin and Frederick. Nodding in response, Ja'vassa would join Lissa and the others, hoping to see what the rest of the group was like before he'd made his decision. In his mind, there were plenty of positives and negatives to joining them. On one hand, perhaps joining a militia would make it easier for him to do the research of his Lord, not to mention it might be useful to make some allies for as long as he's there. On the other hand, he's never been one to take orders from anyone beyond the Daedric Princes he worships; this being the reason he's not yet joined the Stormcloaks or Imperials. There's also the case of his less than savory past; if that came to light, there's no telling what might happen to him. The Khajiit wasn't worried about them killing him or arresting him, he was more than positive he could take on the entire army without a problem, but, he was hoping to start over and turn over a new leaf. Decisions, decisions... he wasn't sure what to do. For now, he'd focus on trying to get to know the others of the militia.

[ Okay, this seems to be a thing going on in the dash right now and since I am a default Corrin who tries to stick to as close to ‘canon’ (if Birthright is even considered that) as possible, I felt it was fair to give my two cents on the matter.
So... *deep breath*
Let’s get the basic shit about Corrin out of the way: They are a good character, but make for a garbage protagonist because of game design. A lot of this is due to the Corrin we see in Fates being less of their own character, and more of a blank slate for the player to put themselves into.
It honestly impresses me how games like Warriors, Heroes and even Smash have a better portrayal of who Corrin actually is than the game he originally came from.
A brief tangent: Now, Robin had 3 important relations: Chrom, Lucina and Validar. Each played to a different aspect of Robin.
Corrin on the other hand has about 12 important characters directly connected to him (16 if you count Silas, Lillith, Jakob and Felicia as ‘important’)
Corrin has all of these relationships from the start of the game, but because of the custom character system, he has, to quote JelloApocolypse: “the personality of a plastic cup”. He has to be everyone and no one in particular all at once throughout Fates, which means all these characters have to care about and at times trust Corrin on the filmiest of bases, even when they don’t deserve it at all. Most of these characters, especially the sibling characters have to love the protagonist without question, so the player can pick and choose their favorite.
Revelations amplifies this problem, because it literally makes every decision Corrin makes the correct choice. The blank character ascends to meme levels of perfection and learns nothing and I fucking hate it.
And yes, Birthright and Conquest are hap-hazardly written and over-dramatic, but they’re the closest Corrin ever comes to some actual fucking characterization. Birthright Corrin is more violent and vengeful. Conquest Corrin is more of a pacifist and traumatized deeply. It’s part of the reason why I play Birthright exclusively.
My preferred solution to the problem would be to make Corrin his own character and sacrifice Felicia or Jakob to the ‘Create-a-Character’ alter because, as much as we love them, their status as Corrin’s retainers is inter-changeable. That’s my opinion. I don’t care much for making Azura the lord character, if only because of her stand-offish nature. I already hate Celica for much of the same reason and I’d rather not hate Azura too.
TL;DR Corrin was wasted potential in their own game, and thanks to Heroes and Warriors we’re just learning that now.
On the other hand, calling any Fire Emblem writing good feels dumb in my opinion. This shit thinks it’s Final Fantasy, but it’s more Kingdom Hearts if you catch my drift.

Summoner/FH!F!Robin C-S Support
Written by @polast-u-s
Author’s note: The game doesn’t really mention it, but I assume that Breidablik has a protective contract/barrier that works by deflecting any Hero that feels malice towards the summoner, has an intention to kill them, feels blood lust etc etc. No more malice of course means no more deflecting.
C SUPPORT
[Grima punches the wall in frustration, then growls in pain.]
Grima: What is wrong with this body? Are the females of your species all this weak?
(Y/n): I think anyone’s hand would hurt if they hit the wall as hard as you did.
Grima: This soft, flimsy body has no scales, no horns, no claws. How is it that humans have continued to survive for this long? Ever since I took possession of this body I’ve received countless bruises and scrapes, because humans are too stupid to evolve harder bodies.
[(Y/n) sighs and rolls their eyes.]
(Y/n): Anyway, if you’re done trying to get around Breidablik’s contract, you can start helping me carry this bucket of food for your other self up to the roof.
Grima: Mark my words? worm, I WILL break that little toy of yours one day - and then you’ll be at my mercy.
[Grima swipes at the Summoner spitefully and is instantly deflected by Breidablik’s protective barrier, the force of which bounces her into a wall.]
(Y/n): If you’re not careful? your body’s going to be one big bruise.
[Grima sneers at the Summoner’s food bucket.]
Grima: Are you trying to curry favour from me by bringing my other self offerings after all that big talk about joining hands and working together to make a better world? I see you’ve decided to try and take the easy way out to beg someone else to do your work for you.
(Y/n): Actually, I thought you… the other dragon you I mean… would be bored from lying on top of the roof all day. Nowi told me that manaketes enjoy playing and flying around, but you don’t do any of that. So I thought maybe you’d enjoy eating something instead. You do like to eat, don’t you?
Grima: That slop you feed to both of us is intolerable.
(Y/n): Hey, give me a break. You’ve already rejected the mutton, boar, peasant, venison and pork dishes I brought you, just to name a few. And you won’t touch vegetables at all. Human bodies need veggies, you know.
Grima: Human food is disgusting. You take something, and then dress it up to forget that it was ever a living thing to appease your guilty consciences. Hypocrites, every single one of you.
(Y/n): Well, today I made you bear stew. Let’s see if you like this better.
Grima: Hmph. It’s just wasted effort on your part.
[(Y/n) and FH!F!Robin have reached support rank C.]
B SUPPORT
(Y/n): ….and Klein, please tell Gaius it’s his turn to clean the stables, no matter what he says about his baking. We’re holding a war council later and we need to make sure the meeting room’s clean, although sometimes it feels kind of meaningless when there’s always a mess after it’s over.
Grima: Busy, are you?
(Y/n): Always. What can I do for you, Grima?
Grima: I find it curious how you humans have so many little customs and habits you’ve made up for yourselves. With all these little restrictions in place, you only seem to have made it harder for yourselves to live.
(Y/n): Oh, is this about the bath we forced you to take yesterday? You tried to use an eggplant to beat Chrom back.
Grima: That was a lapse of concentration on my part and I’ll ensure a painful death to anyone who chases me around again!
(Y/n): Why don’t you make your life here a little easier for yourself and just agree to be washed? Human skin gets dirty fairly easily, and you’ll get rashes and stuff like that if you don’t bathe. It’ll feel reaaaaaaally bad.
Grima: If this ‘bath’ of yours is so important, then why do you not all just stand out in the rain? Same logic, same difference.
(Y/n): Because the rainwater is dirty from… oh, there’s so much I wish I could tell you about but I never have any time! Look, Grima. There’s lots of reasons why we do things the way we do. It can’t hurt to try them out while you’re here, right?
Grima: Why should I do anything that you humans do?
(Y/n): Beyond the obvious reasoning of ‘you now inhabit a human body that functions like one’, I think it’d be good for you to try out new things.
Grima: You have nothing better to do with your time than pester me, do you?
(Y/n): I just worry about you, is all. Nobody deserves to be all alone, not even you.
Grima: …
Grima: I am Grima! There is nothing human about me, and I certainly don’t need your pity!
(Y/n): I frankly don’t care if you think it’s pity, but I’m not leaving you alone. I don’t think you really like being alone either.
Grima: Do not presume to comprehend the mind of a god, you insignificant insect!
(Y/n): Yeah, yeah. Anyway, I gotta go. I’m late for a meeting and I’m supposed to open the dialogue today.
Grima: Hmph. Finally, I’ll be rid of a pest. Crawl away then, little worm.
(Y/n): Catch you later. I’ll save some of that cold peasant you like for you at dinner.
Grima: I certainly will NOT let you catch me again. You can take that ‘bath’ of yours and stick it-
(Y/n) I didn’t actually mean catch you, I meant - oh never mind, bye!
[(Y/n) rushes off, and a piece of paper flutters off their clipboard. Grima picks it up and reads it.]
Grima: Hmph. What is all this? My name is all over it.
Grima: …I can’t understand half of what this says.
[(Y/n) and FH!F!Robin have reached support rank B.]
A SUPPORT
(Y/n): And there… we… go! Man, how does she DO this to her own clothing?
Grima: You. Summoner.
(Y/n): Oh, no ‘putrid worm’ or ‘puny insect’ today? I’m flattered.
Grima: Silence that useless mouth of yours for once. Explain what this is to me.
(Y/n): Hey, my to-do list! You had it with you this whole time???
Grima: ‘To-do list’? Why does it have my name all over it?
(Y/n): Well, I was planning to make your room into more of a loft, since you said you preferred it to feel like a nest, and I wanted to try making more cold meat dishes since you seem to like those, and I wanted to mend your clothes too, and…
Grima: You… Why are you doing all of this? Every day you come to me with a smile no matter how many insults or threats I throw at you, and you insist on finding out what I like so you can run up and down doing unnecessary things for me. What do you gain from this? What do you -
[(Y/n) places a newly patched and mended coat on Grima.]
(Y/n): There we go. Comfy?
Grima: …
(Y/n): To answer your question; don’t you remember how angry you were when you first arrived? You didn’t try to destroy a castle wing or anything like that, oh no. You just decided for yourself that everyone in the Order had it out for you and you responded accordingly. You were bitter, rude and impossible to get along with.
(Y/n): I thought maybe I could get through to you if I just did nice things for you every day.
[Grima laughs.]
Grima: Were you expecting me to play nice with everyone? Humans are nothing more than insects wriggling in the dirt, desperate to feel more important than they really are.
(Y/n): I know.
Grima: You know, and you continue to work to keep as many of them alive as possible?
(Y/n): I don’t want to live in a world where there’s nothing left to look forward to, or live for. Maybe you could call this an entirely selfish motive, but leaving Askr to die… it won’t make anyone happy, Grima. Not even you.
Grima: Trying to pretend that you can understand a god’s thinking again, are you?
(Y/n): I’m not pretending. I know that no matter how many worlds you try to ruin, it won’t make you any less angry or bitter. I really do believe you can try and live… well, differently.
Grima: Ha. You really are the most foolish, idiotic human I ever met. You think me so fickle that I’ll change my mind just because some idealistic idiot said a few honeyed words to me?
(Y/n): I do. Why else do you think you and I can touch now, without Breidablik throwing you a couple of feet in the air? It no longer senses any malice from you.
[Grima starts back in surprise from (Y/n) adjusting the coat around her.(Y/n) then holds out their hand to her.]
(Y/n): I’m not looking to make fun of you or slay you or anything like that. You’re curious about me now, and I feel the same way about you. You’re finally feeling something other than hatred or malice towards me and that’s honestly all I could ask for.
[(Y/n) feels a hand on their back.]
Grima: You’re not afraid I could kill you right here and now? I could throw you off that cliff.
(Y/n): You could. …but I don’t think you will.
Grima: …
Grima: That cold patridge was tolerable. But I want something warm next time.
[(Y/n) beams.]
(Y/n): Got it! How about chicken dumplings? How do you feel about pastry?
Grima: What’s pastry?
[(Y/n) and FH!F!Robin have reached support rank A.]
S SUPPORT
Grima: Summoner. SUMMONER!
(Y/n): Oh? Hey, Grima. Sorry, my head’s all up in the clouds. Work’s been a mess lately.
Grima: Impertinent. When I speak to you, (Y/n), you will give me your full attention. Where are you running off to this time?
(Y/n): Just off to battle and another close brush with death! Don’t wait up.
Grima: When will you be coming back? Who is going with you? Are they capable of slaying even one of your foes?
[(Y/n) pauses in surprise.]
(Y/n): What’s gotten into you, Grima? You’re so fidgety today and you’re usually anything but.
Grima: Just answer my question! Are they capable of even defending their miserable lives, including yours?
(Y/n): I trust them with my life. And if I were to fall in battle today, I wouldn’t blame them at all.
[Grima’s face falls, then starts pacing the room furiously.]
(Y/n): …oh my, I didn’t mean to upset you. Don’t worry, don’t worry! They’re all trained and seasoned warriors. I’m sure everything will be fine. But what’s eating you?
Grima: No matter how much I struggle in vain, my eyes are always drawn to you. You are forever on my mind, against my will.
(Y/n): Eh? I didn’t hear you.
Grima: You have to form a contract with me, here and now, to bind yourself to me for as long as you live. I’ve deemed you worthy of keeping you by my side, and… I want to make sure you don’t leave.
(Y/n): There’s no need for a contract, silly. You couldn’t be rid of me even if you tried.
Grima: But humans are so… they never stay in one place forever. And you, you make me feel all these things that I barely understand. I must have you here while I attempt to grasp these feelings. I need to make sure you don’t… go away and forget all about me…
(Y/n): I would never -
Grima: Despite years of begging for favours, humans always forget about me when it’s convenient for them. But you remember so much about me, no matter how meaningless. You bother about idiotic things like what food I prefer, or how I wear my clothes.
(Y/n): Grima…?
Grima: I WILL have you bind yourself to me. Now, come here -
[(Y/n lightly smacks the top of Grima’s head.]
(Y/n): Hold on there, miss. First rule of having a relationship with a human, you can’t go about doing things like that - even if said human has a huge crush on you.
[(Y/n) blushes and holds out their hand. After a moment’s hesitation, Grima clasps it.]
(Y/n): I guess you don’t believe in me completely right now, but I really do want to stick with you. I know it’s difficult for you to trust humans, but…
Grima: …but you want me to take that chance on you, is that it?
(Y/n): Only if you want to! I don’t want to force you into doing anything.
Grima: You are… truly one of a kind. In all my long memory I’ve never met anyone whose existence demands to be remembered like yours. You fill my every waking thought.
Grima: You say you don’t want a contract, but you seem to have bound me to one anyway.
(Y/n): Well, I guess it wouldn’t be wrong to say that I’ve made quite a catch, huh?
Grima: My, you have some nerve. I’ll make you pay for those words tonight.
(Y/n): Eh?
[Grima grips (Y/n)’s hands tightly and smirks. Then she hesitates.]
Grima: But what will I do if one day, you went somewhere out of my reach?
(Y/n): Then I’ll wait for you to find me and then fly straight to me. I know I can count on you.
[(Y/n) and FH!F!Robin have reached support rank S.]
  Confession Quote:
Grima: “I may have lost some of my memories, but I couldn’t forget you if I tried. You belong to me now, and I to you. You had the sheer audacity to ask me to gamble on you - do you even know what you’ve gotten yourself into? But it matters not. I will never let you go now, no matter how much you struggle. Now, give your hand to me and come over to my side. You need to be punished a little for your impertinence. Prepare to open those wide eyes of yours and carve my visage, my scent and my voice into your body... my dearly beloved.”

Rules: Choose any three fandoms (in random order) and answer the questions.
i choose: heck, let’s go with the 3 i’ve been most into recently!
star wars | fire emblem | warriors
the first character you loved:
anakin skywalker. i still remember being indignant when ahsoka talked back to him in the tcw movie | either lissa or frederick | probably dovewing (i borrowed the fourth apprentice from a friend and read that first before going back and reading the rest of the series)
the character you never expected to love so much:
probably ezra bridger, tbh! i started watching rebels purely for ahsoka and rex and did not expect to get so attached to the ghost crew literally within the first 5 minutes of spark of rebellion | TAKUMI | ... god, it’s so hard to remember these things, the first time i read these books was so many years ago... squirrelflight, maybe?
the character you relate to the most:
echo! i used to read encyclopedias for fun as a kid so i understand his love of the reg manual | probably sumia? i don’t quite have self-esteem issues like she does but i do tend to downplay my strengths and kinda write myself off. plus we both love reading and even tend to prefer the same genres (mostly fantasy and fiction) | leafpool because i too spend a good deal of my time pretending everything is fine even if it’s not and trying to fix my mistakes,
the character you’d slap:
wat tambor | fernand | clear sky. i’ve had enough of that dude
three favorite characters (in order of preference):
anakin, kanan, rey | gaius, takumi, lissa | JAYFEATHER, lionblaze, bramblestar (if i’m being totally honest jayfeather alone is favorite characters #1 through 10 for this series i love him SO MUCH no one else even comes close)
a character you liked at first but don’t anymore:
... i don’t really care for ventress? i don’t dislike her, but i don’t seem to like her as much as everyone else does. i thought she was cool the first time i watched tcw all the way through, but now... | cherche, maybe? i don’t think i’ve ever really disliked a fire emblem character - at least not one from any of the games i’ve played - but i’m not as interested in cherche as i used to be | sorry, dovewing
a character you did not like at first but now do:
ahsoka, believe it or not. i don’t remember caring about her too much when tcw was first airing, but i really like her now | camilla | as usual i never really disliked hollyleaf but i like her more now than i did the first time i read the books
three OTPs:
anidala, kanera, ultimate rarepair™ arcmaiden | the Original Rarepair™ ricken/lissa, chrom/sumia, gaius/robin | bramblestar/squirrelflight, lionblaze/cinderheart, hollyleaf/fallen leaves (honorable mention for bluestar/oakheart bc i do love me those classic and tragic Forbidden Relationships but hollyleaf falling in love with a literal ghost is just too good of a concept and is therefore slightly higher in the rankings)

Chrom + Robin - Japanese Warriors support
First support from the Awakening folk saga, and it’s a very lovely one. The dialogue is just very intense towards the end, a shame the localization toned it down (I wonder why...)
Also just a heads up, but I’m not sure if I’ll be able to post the next one on Monday. It might even be pushed back to Wednesday. Things are busy right now.
Chrom: I still can't believe it... To think a Gleamstone would just burst from within me.
Robin: I was very surprised myself. Still, I don't think we have a choice but to accept it.
Chrom: Now that I think of it, do you remember that local legend the priest told us about?
Robin: Right, he said “Heroes from other worlds will bring forth the Gleamstones that will become the key.”
Chrom: That's right. Heroes? I don't think I am anything great like that.
Robin: Hehe, you think so? I thought of you as a hero even before we came to this world.
Chrom: Stop it, Robin. Remember the state Ylisse is in right now. If I really were a hero, surely the people wouldn't have to suffer so much. If only I could be stronger...
Robin: But even when we first met, you've never been one to just sit back and do nothing. Didn't you always do everything in your power to protect everyone? That's why both the people and everyone in the Shepherds puts their faith in you.
Chrom: However, I never found a clear answer to the many problems Ylisse has been facing. There's been nothing but suffering since the end of the last war, and I can't do anything to help...Instead, I've only been worrying everyone and causing trouble for them... How pathetic.
Robin: No one thinks of you as a burden! When you found someone collapsed on the road, you immediately decided to help. That's just your way of doing things, right? I didn't even know who you were back then, but you still came to my aid and believed in me! Even though you had no reason to do so.
Chrom: Yeah. That's just how I do things, no matter what anyone says.
Robin: It's that sincerity which makes people want to trust and support you. This might be just my personal opinion, but... Heroes aren't perfect. I think a hero is someone who can rally the people and guide them.
Chrom: … So that means, by themself a hero is just a normal person?
Robin: Yes. So if that's our definition, it should be obvious that you qualify, right?
Chrom: You are right! I can't do anything by myself after all!
Robin: At least you are sure on that count...
Chrom: You've also been a great help, Robin. No, that's putting it lightly. You are indispensable to me. At this point, I don't think I could win anything without you!
Robin: D- don't you think that's a bit much? You are embarrassing me... Your trust in your friends is really what makes you into our hero. I am proud to see you chosen as a hero in this world.
Chrom: In that case, I should take care to prove myself worthy of the title. First, we need to save this world! Back me up, Robin.
Robin: Of course! I will help pave the way to the future you dream of.
Chrom: We are two halves of the same whole. Our hearts beat as one!
Robin: Yes, Chrom. I will always have your back!

Sumia/Tiki C-S and Tiki/Cynthia PC Supports
I can actually see these two retiring to a pegasi farm after the war where Tiki can finally get the sleep she deserves and they can watch the stars and let Tiki discuss her old friends and fears while her down to earthness helps Sumia's low confidence. This was fun to write and I just find the two cute and calming together. Plus Cynthia being Tiki's boisterous daughter and the future Naga is hilarious. Forget hero she'll be a god.
C
Sumia: Ah hello Llewelyn, oh and you too of course Erinys. Hee hee and to- ah Lady Tiki!
Tiki: …
Sumia: Oh no Lady Tiki are you hurt!?
Tiki: Hmm urk what? Oh Sumia is it? You gave me quite a fright. Why are you yelling so early?
Sumia: You were asleep in the middle of the stables I was worried you were injured. You’re not right?
Tiki: Thank you for your concern but I was simply napping. It’s so peaceful among the pegasi I could not help myself…for all that changes the pegasi remain ever a constant in this world…
Sumia: Lady Tiki?
Tiki: A moment of melancholy pay me no mind. Still I’m surprised to see one so young up so early, the sun has barely risen.
Sumia: I enjoy tending to the pegasi and they don’t like a late breakfast, so I have to take any accidents into account. Today is a good one though I only dropped the food once!
Tiki: I see…still I’m sure they appreciate it greatly. A Pegasus never forgets a kind friend.
Sumia: Erm if I may ask Lady Tiki why do you say that so sadly?
Tiki: …
Tiki: Memories best left as they were, please I have delayed you long enough and they are hungry. A good morning to you Sumia
Sumia: Lady Tiki…?
 B
Sumia: Dum da da da morning! Guess who managed to not drop you breakfast this morning hee hee and-again!?
Tiki: Hrm? Oh is it morning so soon Sumia?
Sumia: Lady Tiki you’ll hurt your back sleeping like this and it’s getting colder out.
Tiki: Do not worry for me, you don’t live a few thousand years to die of a chill.
Sumia: Dragons don’t get cold?
Tiki: Not as easily at least. I see your up early again, are you always assigned to feed the pegasi?
Sumia: Oh no I volunteer, I really enjoy taking care of them. Besides I think Jules would throw a tantrum again if someone else tried to feed her.
Tiki: Pegasi can estimate the heart of others and clearly find you a great friend. It is a gift indeed and one I have not seen since her.
Sumia: Oh may I ask who Lady Tiki? If I’m not overstepping my bounds…
Tiki: …an old friend. A Pegasus Knight as fearsome in battle as she was kind to friends and with a beauty to enchant anyone. But it was her heart and not her beauty that lead many to her…she was a true comfort…
Sumia: I’m sorry I’ve brought up sad memories!
Tiki: Not sad just...lonely. I miss being able to speak of her so thank you for this chance.
Sumia: If you ever want to talk you have only to ask Lady Tiki I’ll always be here to listen. Hmm? Oh and Llewelyn seems to want to too. We may not be a legendary Pegasus Knight or her steed but if you’d like we would like to be your friends.
Tiki: You have a kind soul Sumia, thank you.
A
Sumia: Oh no did I misplace the feed? Erinys gets really grumpy if I’m late and I’ll have to go to town for more…hmm Lady Tiki?
Tiki: Good morning Sumia, I apologise if I have caused you worry but I wanted to help your workload for this morning. I appear to have hindered it however.
Sumia: Of course not! I was just surprised thank you so much the pegasi seem so happy. Hee hee even Jules is eating away they all really like you.
Tiki: Only after some coaxing. They are more petulant than I anticipated but once I explained it was to help you they happily ate.
Sumia: Aww that’s so sweet of you all. Erm I mean thank you so much Lady Tiki but as the Voice I wouldn’t want to burden you
Tiki: Nonsense it is good to help out even in small ways like this. A friend once told me no battle can be won without healthy mounts and a loving bond between you. By her nurturing of these bonds she became a powerful warrior and a true friend.
Sumia: Is this the legendary Pegasus Knight? The more I hear the more amazing she becomes, I fear I will never live up to her…
Tiki: Hmm?
Sumia: Oh erm well since hearing you speak of your friend I’ve wanted to be strong too but I fear I can never be like her. I’m not a master of the battlefield, actually it’s a good day when I make only a handful of mistakes. In truth I don’t even want to fight, I would rather settle down and take care of all of these guys.
Tiki: You need not fight Sumia, neither Chrom nor Robin would ever force you too and if they did I would never allow it.
Sumia: No I will fight. I may not be a legendary warrior but I want to keep those I love safe and I know with Chrom we’ll make the world a peaceful place for everyone including the pegasi and you Lady Tiki.
Tiki: …
Tiki: Sumia you have nothing to fear, you are already forging your own path to become a legend and I will be proud to one day say I had you as a friend.
Sumia: Oh err you don’t need to reassure me like this Lady Tiki
Tiki: Please just Tiki. We are friends yes?
Sumia: Hee hee of course Tiki
S
Sumia: and then I accidentally left the window open and my mother’s papers flew everywhere! It took the rest of the day to find every piece but the relief on her face was worth it.
Tiki: You are always diligent even in your mistakes. No it is because of them you have become the kind and diligent person you are now, many would give up and resign themselves but as always you surpass any expectation.
Sumia: I think you’re giving me too much credit. I just carry on. Lots of people have to even if life gives them a sour twist so I can’t let myself just give up.
Sumia: Ah we’ve been talking so long the sun is beginning to set! The pegasi will have long finished their meals.
Tiki: Considerate and kind…truly it is what I love most about you.
Sumia: Wait huh!?
Tiki: I have lived for so long and yet I still cannot keep these feelings to myself. Sumia you have surpassed your predecessors as a Pegasus Knight worthy of admiration and as a friend who has become the fondest of my heart. I know time with you would be short but if you would have me I would love to make them a time of joy
Sumia: Are you sure…I did just finish a story of how I messed up as usual…but I can’t deny my feelings either Tiki, of course I would love to be with you. You’ve helped me see my own virtues and are always there for me. I want to do the same for you. I love you Tiki and I will never let you be lonely again. I’ll stay by your side, always.
Tiki: Thank you, love. Hmm its seems the Pegasi are happy to hear our confession
Sumia: Hee hee it’s a bit embarrassing but I’m happy to begin my life with you and Tiki…when I’m gone one day promise you’ll talk about me with others like you did your old friend and let yourself find even more friends…or even new love. I never want you to be lonely again.
Tiki: Oh Sumia, kind and gentle Sumia. For you I will but please let us enjoy this moment now for I will never forget it or you, my love.
 Tiki and Cynthia
C
Cynthia: Now then, let's see what the flowers say. Option one, option two, option three...
Tiki: Cynthia? Why are you plucking the petals off that poor dandelion?
Cynthia: Oh, hello, Mother! You're just the person I wanted to see! I'm using flower fortunes to choose an entrance flourish for the next battle! Buuuut I'm still having problems deciding, so I need to know what you think.
Tiki: I hardly think battle is the best place to test such things my dear
Cynthia: But you’re the Voice of Naga! It won’t do to just be there! I’ll just go over the options and you can decide what sounds best. The first option is to ignite a huge plume of purple smoke and come racing out of it!
Tiki: ...Oh.
Cynthia: Option two is to step onto the field amidst a shower of fluttering violet petals...
Tiki: ...Where would we get-.
Cynthia: Option three is to suddenly burst out of a farmhouse in the middle of the battlefield!
Tiki: ......
Cynthia: So, what do you think, Mother? Which would you prefer?
Tiki: They’re all very creative dear... erm if I had to choose just the one...the falling-petals one sounds so…lovely?
Cynthia: Wait, truly? Well, THAT'S a surprise! I didn't think it was your style at all. But if that's what you want, I'll start collecting petals!
Tiki: Dear, this entrance you're planning...where are you going to collect so many petals? Wait more importantly it isn’t for me is it?
Cynthia: Of course it is, silly! Why else would I ask your opinion? Hee! Don’t worry about the petals I’ll get that all sorted. I’m so happy you picked two though it’s my favourite!
Tiki: Erm dear! Hold a moment! *Sigh* ...A few thousand years and I’m still not entirely ready for motherhood.
 B
Cynthia: I am SO sorry, Mother.
Tiki: Cynthia dear you’re very creative but…you nearly buried me alive under petals…petals!
Cynthia: I know. I asked Mother to help out, and we ended up collecting thousands!
Tiki: Of course Sumia helped you collect them. Your Mothers too kind for her own good sometimes…
Cynthia: Of course! We wanted to do something special for our dear Mother and Wife! But you DID look really fearsome and divine out there in the field! ...At least, you would have, if anyone could have seen you in that blizzard of petals.
Tiki: Well, in any case, no more entrances please dear it can be dangerous for many reasons. Understood?
Cynthia: Aww, but I had SO many more wonderful ideas! ...Can I at least pick a special catchphrase for you to shout at the start of battle?
Tiki: Cynthia! War is dire. I will not lose you or your Mother for this.
Cynthia: ...I-I know. I'm sorry. I just want to make you happy and give us something fun to talk about and... Oh, pegasus poop! I just don't know what to do! I mean, you’re Naga’s Voice! What would be good enough?
Tiki: Oh dear Cynthia, don't be silly. You don't have to make such an effort to think of fun things for us to share. Just spending time with you is enough for me.
Cynthia: Truly? Just...being together is enough?
Tiki: Always.
Cynthia: Oh, Mother! You're SUCH a great gal! It's no wonder Mother fell in love with you! Even if you're just being polite, you're doing it because you like me! You're the BEST!
Tiki: Unnngh... Cynthia... D-don't hug...so tight... Can't b-breathe... C-crushing...ribs...
  A
Cynthia: Mother! Will you brush my hair? Pleeease?
Tiki: Erm, I'm sorry, dear, but I'm a little busy at the moment... You haven't left my side lately... Are you doing alright?
Cynthia: Well, you said that spending time with me was fun! Riiight? Hey, why don't you come to town with me? We'll spend the whole day together!
Tiki: This very second?
Cynthia: Yes, now! We'll walk the streets and visit the market and hold hands the whole time! Then we can find a tasty cake shop and when evening falls we can go carolling and—
Tiki: I’m sorry dear but that's enough now. I love you dearly, your my dear daughter, but even family needs time apart sometimes.
Cynthia: —and eat pie, and it'll totally be the best day ever!
Tiki: You’re not listening are you?
Cynthia: You...will remember me, won't you, Mother? Even once the Cynthia of this world is born?
Tiki: ......
Cynthia: You see, I DO understand how this time-travel stuff works. I know you're not my real mother. That woman exists in another history as Naga now. So as soon as the me from this time is born, I promise to leave...even if I have a long life ahead of me alone I just...until that happens, I want us to spend as much time together as we can. Then, when you have a proper family, at least we'll still have our memories.
Tiki: I... I didn't realize...
Cynthia: Oh, don't get me wrong. I'm ever so grateful for this time. You've shown me what it's like to have a mother, and how to be a great dragon! But I know that, in the end, your love is meant for the other me.
Tiki: *Sniff* My dear little one
Cynthia: Mother, are you...crying? Oh, silly! I didn't mean to make you sad... It's nothing to be sad about! Besides, we can't very well have the Voice of Naga all teary eyed, can we?! I don't want to remember you like this. I want to remember you how you really were. Strong, and kind, and brave... My mother, my hero...and my friend.

I AM HERE TO SERVE MY FRIEND.
What to talk about… What about more on theAwakening universe idea?
(PS: I basciallywrote an entire story outline (this is literally Awakening to Chapter 13 andthen some), so this is absURDLY LONG (IT’S 3400+ WORDS). It’s like a story with no dialogue. Also spoilers for Sacred Stones andAwakening. If I get anything wrong from SS, I apologize; I haven’t played thegame, but I know how it ends.)
This all starts out after Southtown as Chrom and the othersare heading to Ylisstol. They pass by another plain and instead it being empty, there’s a body laying down near the tree. Chrom, finding it ironic, leads hisgroup to see who the mysterious person is this time. He’s immediately struckwith surprise.
There’s a green haired man lying down underneath a tree. Anintricately designed lance is laying nearby and the armor he wears is just asdesigned and well-kept. His soft aqua green hair sways against his forehead andhis lips are parted slightly, small breaths falling out. Lissa has to elbowChrom multiple times to get his attention.
The group resolves to bring the man with him for he’s toowell dressed to be a common thief and his lance is one none of them have everseen before. They strip him of his armor and Robin, the little sneak, says thatChrom should carry the man since Frederick no longer has room on his horse.Chrom doesn’t know if he should love his new tactician or hate his newtactician.
Good news, the man eventually wakes as the four of them chowon their bear meat. But upon waking up, the man grabs the closest blade he couldfind, grabs the closest person in reach, and points the blade at the person’sneck. The person in question is Chrom and the blade in question is Frederick’sSilver Lance. Needless to say, the camp dissolved into chaos and panic.
Once everything calmed down and the man was assured that no we’re not kidnappers we just saw youunconscious on the road and found it necessary to bring you to safety, theysat him down to introduced himself. He said his name was Ephraim and that wasall he knew. Well, that and that he could maneuver a lance’s blade likenobody’s business but that’s beside the point. Chrom (Robin and the otherscould see how smitten he was with this man he just met) introduces himself andthe other members of his party. Robin and Lissa greet him kindly whileFrederick looks ready to pounce on him. An uneasy truce is set up between themembers of the group as Ephraim decides to sleep away from them so he won’tbother them. Chrom is obviously saddened by this. Robin jabs him in the ribs.
The Risen come as a surprise to all of them and Ephraimproves his worth to them. With his lance—Siegmund, Ephraim tells him—he’s able to tear apart the zombieswith just a swing. Not only that, he was absurdly good on the battlefield, making it look like he was born to be in a fight. He’s quick and tactical, though also a tad bit impulsive since Chrom actually had to grab his collarbefore he ran into a group of Risen. With that. Chrom resolved to add Ephraimin their band of Shepherds and offers this to him, saying that he could stayfor as long as he wanted to. Ephraim agrees and Chrom’s heart can’t help butsing.
Ephraim is taken to by the Shepherds just as well as Robin is. He’spolite at first to everyone he meets, but he’s such a sucker for sparring, hegoads nearly everyone in the army to go at him at least once. He’s battled withalmost everyone in the army but doesn’t leave them hanging. He advises them ontheir techniques and what they could improve on. For anyone who uses a lance,he shows them his own techniques in case they want to apply them to themselves. Not only does he get along with the warriors of the army, he’s on good termswith the more reserved members. He indulges anyone he talks to and, while hesucks at conveying his emotions sometimes, he’s a supremely good listener.
Robin, the ever-observant tactician, can’t help but smile wheneverEphraim comes by the chat about strategy or with an offer to spar, but he knowsChrom would enjoy it much more. So, under everyone’s noses, he makes sure topair the two up as much as possible. During the fight against the Feroxi BorderGuard, he instructs Ephraim to look for Chrom as soon as possible. In thearena, he makes the two stand next to each other. When off to get Maribelleback from Gangrel, he doesn’t even have to tell Ephraim to go to Chrom when heneeds aid.
Due to Robin’s intervention, Chrom and Ephraim gradually getcloser. They’re seen talking to each other more in the barracks and Ephraimusually asks only Chrom for a quick clash or two now. They chat about moremenial things more often, wondering about each other’s likes, dislikes, interests, etc. The other Shepherds, picking up on Robin’s plan, silently cheerfor the two in the background. They could practically taste it in the airnow—they were falling in love!
But as Gangrel’s efforts to start another war began to increase,Chrom and Ephraim’s budding relationship had to be put on stasis. The attemptedassassination of Emmeryn was only proof of that. The Shepherds were all on edgeafter the ordeal, but there was something nagging Chrom about the girl who hadsaved him. Marth was an odd character, but had seen the future. She knew thatEmmeryn was going to be killed and did her best to save her. But there wassomething about her that was vaguely familiar. Was it Falchion that she held inher hand? Or was it Siegmund that she tried to hide behind her back?
Any remaining thoughts about Marth disappears from his mind once Emmerynis stolen away from him.
The Shepherds, not letting this deter Chrom and Ephraim’srelationship, push the two together as much as possible. Robin often letsEphraim deal with Chrom whenever he needs to vent, ignoring the spearman’sprotests. They progress through the mission, slowly opening up to each othereven more. Chrom can’t help but worry whenever Ephraim isn’t by his side andEphraim finds himself heading in the prince’s way without even realizing it.They’re drawn to each other like moths to a flame.
It was cute, Emmeryn sometimes thought. She was as knowledgeable asthe other Shepherds when it came to Chrom’s little crush on the aqua greenhaired man. She could see how close they were getting and how they just neededa little extra push. She smiles. Ephraim will be good for Chrom and they’lltake care of each other, even when she’ll no longer be there with him. Take good care of Chrom, Ephraim, shethinks before she falls.
Chrom is a mess after Emmeryn’s death. Everyone in the Shepherdsis. Even as they rally against the soldiers that Gangrel sent after they ran, there’s a distinct air of loss and crushing anguish around the group. Theyfight without care, with neither hide nor hare until Basilio breaks the mold, voing for revenge for Emmeryn’s death. However, as most of the Shepherds’sspirits lift, Chrom notices someone who was still grieving.
He walks into Ephraim’s tent to find the man curled up in a ball onhis makeshift bed. He’s clutching onto Siegmund tightly, staring at it unabashedly. Chrom, fearing the worst, hastily snatches theweapon and forces Ephraim to look him in the eyes. The man tells him that heremembers something. He remembers that he had a sister, a younger twin sisterby the name of Eirika. She looked just like him, just with bluer and longerhair. He remembers as he watched Emmeryn fall, seeing his sister near him, broken and bleeding profusely as a large demonic creature descended on her, attacking her. He remembers screaming her name before the memory whited out, leaving him with a hole in his heart. The next thing he knows, he’s pouring hisheart out to the lord in front of him.
He says how he’s afraid to lose Chrom. He always wondered about thelife he led before he lost his memories, about the friends and family he leftbehind. Now with the memory of Eirika’s bleeding form, he’s afraid that he’lllose those he cares about like he lost his sister. Was the pain he felt fromhis sister’s loss enough to kill himself? Was that why he was here, in anotherrealm with nothing to his name except the clothes on his back, his lance, and hisskills? Were the gods cursing him for his inability to protect his sister?Would they take him away from his new family as well? Would they take Chromaway from him, just when he admitted to himself how he felt?
Chrom, taking this all in stride, wanted to prove to Ephraim how hewouldn’t let himself be taken away. So, he cups his hands around Ephraim’s faceand brings their lips together.
After parting, he explains how he’ll always be at Ephraim’s side,no matter the circumstances. Even if he forgets again, even if they getseparated by the very gods themselves, he’ll find his way back to him no matterwhat. He wouldn’t ever be alone again. Not on Chrom’s watch.
The next day, Lissa and Robin find the two curled up in Ephraim’sbed, both with content smiles on their faces. Lissa silently whoops and Robinsighs, defeated. As they walked away from the tent, Robin pulls out severalgold coins from his pocket and hands them to Lissa, who gleefully races to theother Shepherds to collect their bets.
It’s after the fight against Gangrel does their relationship reallystart to pick up. With Chrom as the new Exalt, the need for an heir starts toget bothersome. The Council demands it so that the throne of Ylisse will besecure. Ephraim, now official assigned as Royal Consort, can’t bear childrenand neither can Chrom, so the Council decides there to be a surrogate. Robin, officially the halidom’s tactician, secretly applies for the help of Tharja andHenry. He knows that Chrom wants a child of both his and Ephraim’s blood, butknows how impossible it is. Luckily for him, they have two mages willing to gettheir hands a little dirty. So, after a little discussing with Tharja andHenry, looking in age old books, and creating a multitude of differentincantations, they’ve come up with a little something-something to make theimpossible possible.
Just snatch Ephraim here, knock him unconscious for a few minutes, cast the hex there, maybe a little aphrodisiac too to get the mood going, plophim in their bedroom, and wait for the results. Just to make sure they had theutmost privacy, a little soundproofing spell was casted on the walls in casethey got… noisy.
Nine months, several bouts of fainting, vomiting, screaming, squealing, and constant trips to the kitchen and bathroom later, Lucina wasborn to the Exalt and Royal Consort of Ylisse. She had inherited her father’shair and eye color, though in bright sunlight, her hair takes a greenish tinge. The Brand of the Exalt sits in her left eye, glimmering as she watches her fatherand her dad (no matter how much they insisted on it, Ephraim refused be calledmother by his daughter; he doesn’t care if he’s the one who gave birth to her,he will be called dad instead). Ofcourse, several weeks after Lucina’s birth, there’s unease coming from acrossthe sea.
(Chrom had insisted that Ephraim remain in the capital for Lucinawas still so young, but Ephraim did not allow it. He nearly whacked him overthe head with Siegmund for even thinking about the idea.)
With their daughter left with the wet nurses, the two royals andthe Shepherds departed for Regna Ferox and deal with the threat that came fromacross the sea. The Valmese are relentless in their quest to conquer andbattered the town of the invasion. Realizing they need help and with reluctancefrom Chrom, the group departs for Plegia for aid. Aid which they gladly gave. With enough ships for their army as well as a fully paid campaign, the tripmust have been too good to be true.
And it was, as Robin was mind tortured in front of Chrom’s eyes.Validar raced towards his friend, helping him up and finding out that he wasValidar’s son. Chrom reassured that being someone’s child didn’t make him anyless than who he is. Thanking him, the two were ready to withdraw for thenight, until, Frederick comes, bearing ill news.
The Risen came upon all of them and the Shepherds who came out tofight were hastily dressed. There was no time for formation as they all delvedinto the battle, slashing and stabbing at the Risen soldiers. Chrom couldn’t helpbut cringe as he was separated from Ephraim, but at least his husband was withthe axe swinging Lissa, ready to aid when needed. Together with Robin, theyraced for the lead Risen, who was perched on top of a bridge. As quick aspossible, the pair of lord and tactician slew the Risen, watching as the thingdissolved into black smoke. All at once, the other zombie monsters dissolved aswell. Chrom could almost hear all the sighs of relief from his army as hewatched the healers make their rounds on anyone who was injured. He had let hisguard down.
A shout of “Father!” met his ears as Marth swoops in, parrying ablow from the Risen assassin before it disappears. She looks relieved when theymeet eyes, but then, she realizes her mistake as her eyes widen.
The brand in her eye is obvious once he takes a closer look. Awayfrom all others, he sees Marth for what she truly is: Lucina, his daughter. Shebreaks down in front of him, hugging him as tight as she could as if she hadn’tseen her father in years. Her uniform, her sword, the lance on her back… oh,what life had she led? What had led her to have both Falchion and Siegmundunder her possession? Chrom smiles as Lucina giggles at the prospect of callinghim Father. She grew up to be a strong girl, that’s for sure.
Father and daughter hear footsteps come from nearby and they bothlook to see Ephraim, Robin, and Lissa approaching, Ephraim leading them.Ephraim walks up to them, mildly suspicious of the girl. Robin and Lissa hangback, uncertain. The aqua green haired man demands to know what’s going on, aswith a situation like this are rumors born and Chrom happily obliges. Lucinaventures to her dad as the man is in disbelief, as are the pair standing behindthem. She shows him the brand in her eye, which Ephraim remarks to be the samein his daughter’s eye. She tells them that the Lucina in the castle isperfectly fine and that she hails from a time distant from now.
In her time, Ylisse was ravaged by the resurrection of the FellDragon, Grima. Whole cities were destroyed, millions perished, and Lucinawatched with her own eyes the fall of her father, of her dad, of all theShepherds she had grown to love. She gestures to her Falchion on her hip, thelast gift from her father and from behind her back, she pulls out Siegmund, thelast gift from her dad. Chrom insists that Lucina truly is their daughter fromall her proof. But, Ephraim wants to know one more thing before he believesher.
He asks her of the origins of her middle name.
He and Chrom had resolved to keep her middle name as somethingbetween themselves, never making it known to the public. All of the Shepherdsknew her middle name but didn’t know where it came from. They both decided thatthey would tell Lucina who she was named after when she grew older.
Lucina smiles and says that she was named after her dad’s twinsister, Eirika.
Lucina finds herself in her dad’s tight embrace and she can’t helpbut sob. She buries her head into his shoulder and clutches him tightly. Hownice it was to hear her dad’s voice again, cooing at her as he stroked herhair. From behind her, Chrom wraps his arms around his family and kisses hisdaughter’s and his husband’s heads. Lucina laughs wetly between them. She’sfinally back with them. She’s finally home.
(After that, the story progresses just as it would, with addedbonuses.
Having never learned how to use a lance, Ephraim takes it uponhimself to show his daughter the ways to wield a lance and eventually, ParallelSiegmund. Thus, she’s able to use both her parents’ weapons when she promotes.
Upon meeting Owain and him freaking out about “SACRED STONES”,there’s a little pull in Ephraim’s mind but that’s all.
The Outrealm Gate is revealed and is put to use. Anna pulls Chromand Ephraim away one day and tells them that the gate might lead them toEphraim’s true home, but she’s not 100% certain. They take the chance away andwith loads of magical power, a small group of Shepherds find themselvesstanding before a rejuvenated Renais. Anna advises them that they only have afew days before they’ll be kicked back to Ylisse, so use their time wisely. AtRenais, the group find out that it’s been several years since the end of a warand prince Ephraim’s disappearance. Because the prince was no longer there, theprincess took his place and became the queen who led Grado and Renais back tostability. The entire group is surprised that Ephraim is a prince of allthings, but all Ephraim wants to see is his sister.
Slowly, the memories begin the flood back, first with familiarfaces. Seth, Forde, Franz, Innes, Tana, L’arachel, friends of old began to comeback to him. In order to hide Ephraim’s identity, Chrom forces the man to weara cloak to not draw any suspicion from anyone else and he asks for an audiencewith the queen. Surprisingly, they were let through to see the Queen of Renaisherself, Ephraim’s twin sister, and technically Chrom’s sister-in-law, Eirika. She is kind and warm hearted to them even though they were strangers. She askswhat their business was with her and, at the sound of his sister’s voice,Ephraim breaks down into tears.
Chrom hastily reaches out for the man and pulls him in as Lucinaworriedly pitters around her dad. Eirika looks worried as well, descending fromher throne towards the crying man in the cloak. Ephraim pushes himself awayfrom his husband, reaches up, and pulls down his hood.
Eirika gasps before she launches herself at her long lost brother, crying. They grasp at each other, clutching the other as tight as they could astears pour from their eyes. They’re babbling nonsense to each other, butthey’re both smiling. Chrom looks around to see the other guards in completeshock. One in particular, a red haired man, approaches them with uncertainty.Ephraim and Eirika separates and Ephraim greets his old friend with a smile.Needless to say, even the perceived cold man was driven to tears at the sightof an old friend.
The days pass slowly as Ephraim reacquaints himself with those ofhis older life. He tells them he’s a married man now and introduces Chrom. Theamount of death threats Chrom gets is absurd. Ephraim then tells them that healso has a daughter and introduces Lucina. The girl ends up getting coddled byher aunt the entire time she’s there.
Eventually, the days they can stay are used up. Anna says that theycan come by again, but only after every six months. They all agree and theYlisseans are ready to leave for home, but Eirika looks reluctant to letEphraim go. She just got her brother back and the next time she was going tosee him was going to be six months from now. Call her selfish, but she missedher brother for a number of years. Thus, she and Chrom make a deal: after theirwar against Grima, Ephraim would return to Renais for as long as he wants to.He could stay there for six months or indefinitely; it was his choice. Withthat, the Shepherds all return home to Ylisse with a battle to be won.)
Well, that’s all I guess! THIS WAS ABSURDLY FUN TO WRITE HA HA HA.

[stumblingpetals] 5 times saved
Send “Five Times ______ed” for a Drabble of 5 different times our characters… did that.
i.
Sumia has quite a knack for tripping over nothing, it’s almost a talent. It’s almost impossible to believe that this clumsy young woman is a pegasus knight serving under the prince, but Chrom knows better.
The Shepherds are still knew, the majority of his militia relatively untrained in tactical combat, so there is much value to be found in skilled warriors. Warriors like Sumia who can set even the most frightened of beasts at ease, flit through the air as if she herself bears wings, and wield a lance with a fierce grace.
So when she stands in a line amongst the newest of his recruits, Chrom can’t help but stop to grin at her because she’s come such a long way and he’s proud to have her within his ranks.
❝ Welcome to the Shepherds. ❞
ii.
He’s preparing himself to be badly injured, nearly every javelin launched from the Feroxi fortress’s walls is falling towards him and he can only hope he makes it out of this encounter alive. Automatically he twists to preserve his vitals, the silver pauldron on his shoulder his best defense against the deadly rain. His ears ring with the clang of metal upon stone, but he feels no pain, only wind rushing through his hair the the heavy beat of pegasus wings in the air.
Opening his eyes, Chrom can’t hide the surprise that lifts his brows and draws her name from his lips.❝ Sumia? ❞
Her smile leaves him speechless, and his heart is now pounding in his chest for an entirely different reason. But she’s quick to remind him of the task at hand, but after all is said and done, he’s not quick to forget her actions.
iii.
Her fist connects with his jaw and cobalt hues open wide, mouth agape, mind coming to a complete halt as he stares at Sumia. Sweet, gentle Sumia wearing one of the fiercest expressions he’s ever seen upon her features. There’s a moment of silence from everyone present, but she breaks it.
❝ Pull yourself together! We’re all counting on you, Captain. Don’t let your sister’s sacrifice be in vain. ❞
There’s some protest, mostly over the fact that she had just assaulted her prince, but Chrom is quick to stop it, shaking his head and leveling his gaze upon the pegasus knight.
❝ You’re right. This isn’t over yet. ❞ He smiles then, the best he can muster given the circumstances, but it’s genuine.❝ Thank you. ❞
iv.
❝ I don’t know if I can do this. ❞ Her hands wring together nervously as she paces back and forth, the skirts of her gown – much more elegant than any she has ever worn – swishing about with her every movement.❝ I - I mean, I can, but what if they’re disappointed in me? What if they don’t think I’m good enough? ❞
She’s to be officially presented to the court as his betrothed, and her family is among the lesser nobles of Ylisse. Not a part of any family who could really hope to marry into the Exalted line. Yet here she is. Oh, Gods, here she is.
Chrom steps forward and stops her pacing, clasping her hands in his to cease their nervous motions.❝ It’ll be all right, Sumia. I can’t imagine anyone present won’t immediately fall in love with you. ❞ He smiles.❝ I did. ❞
Her cheeks flush pink and she’s quiet for several seconds before seeming to make up her mind, nodding to herself.❝ All right. I can do this. ❞
He leans down to kiss her briefly before offering her his arm.❝ Let’s go, my love. ❞
v.
      It’s over.
Peace has been brought to the world again and the future is safe for their children. The relief is so overwhelming that his legs could give out, but he marches his way over to Sumia and wraps his arms around her, hugging her fiercely, burying his face in her hair.
❝ I couldn’t have done this without you. ❞ He murmurs. It doesn’t matter that she stayed at the castle while he went to war, it only matters that she had still been with him in his heart.❝ I am so grateful. ❞
Her arms tighten around him and he hears her sniff quietly. They remain like that for a while, simply holding each other in the aftermath, much the same as their comrades around them, reveling quietly in their newfound peace.

Marx + Shion (Rowan) - Japanese Warriors support
Finally done with all of Noodle Lord’s supports. Gonna start doing Chrom’s next and moving ahead with the Awakening peeps.
Also just a heads up, but I’ll probably disrupt that order once the dlc hits (and someone datamines the supports). My son and the other Broshidos just have the highest priority for me. Also you guys are still free to throw requests at me if there are any you are burning to see me do.
Anyway, hope you enjoy!
Shion: Hiyah!
Marx: Heh, what's wrong? You are too slow!
Shion: Urk..!
Marx: Haha, you still have much too learn. What you are lacking is dedication. Without it you simply cannot stand up to me.
Shion: Y- You are so strong... I just can't win against you. Just how did you get so strong, Marx?
Marx: With a lot of training, just like you are doing now. If you manage to keep it up, you are bound to become stronger.
Shion: S- So I'll be able to beat you one day!?
Marx: Yes, you have the potential. I am sure you'll surpass me in time.
Shion: All right! Haha, I'll do my best! I'll train even harder and become that much stronger for it!
Marx: …. Why are you so desperate for strength?
Shion: Isn't it obvious? I want to become an awesome knight with the power to protect everyone!
Marx: Huh... That's an admirable goal. But aren't you a prince? Will you not become king one day?
Shion: No, I won't. Kings are weak and nothing special. My father was always in need of protection. I'll pass on that. That's why I'll take up the sword and live as a knight. My sister can have the throne for all I care.
Marx: … I confess, I have no knowledge of the former king of Aytolis, but was he truly so weak?
Shion: Of course he was! I heard he was always sick and could barely even lift a weapon, let alone fight.
Marx: … Being unable to fight is not such a big problem at all. A person's true strength comes from within. No matter how skilled a fighter is, if his conviction and willpower are lacking I will never call him strong.
Shion: Conviction and willpower?
Marx: I do not think the previous king was weak. You can understand as much by looking at any of the Aytolian villages we've passed through. The people followed your father because they respected him. And did your mother not support him with all she had?
Shion: …. But I want to protect others through my own strength as a man! I get what you are trying to say, but I just can't admire my father.
Marx: Don't talk like that about your father. Being a knight shouldn't be your ultimate goal. There are strong kings who both govern their kingdom and fight at their people's side in times of war. My father, King Garon, was like that.
Shion: So your father was... a warrior king?
Marx: Yes. He lead both the kingdom and it's people with strength and severity. That's why I decided I had to follow in his footsteps no matter what. No matter what... Becoming a king is never a meaningless endeavour. Not for those born as princes. What do you need to do in order to achieve your goals? What do you need to become? ...You need to be aware of it.
Shion: …..
Marx: All right, enough rest for now. Come at me!
Shion: Marx... Yeah! I'll manage to hit you this time!
---
Marx is such a dad in this one. Also the twins dad sounds like such an interesting guy. Too bad he is dead. FE needs more non-action kings imo.
