may have been slightly influenced by the picrew you made but also I litterally dont remember how it looks like and honestly can’t visualise so it all came out from pure vibe alone (aka spiritual insight)..

Feels mildly accurate but then again I wasn’t sure how you could present, so just.. there. I really like drawing traditionally too - it allows me to make much more interesting and rough lines at times, plus i am a massive sucker for symbolism and symmetry.. if you haven’t noticed already haha..

anyway bc i never rlly talk abt it!! vyncent is filipino. 2 me. this is immutable. dakota afro-brazilian + chinese (second gen immigrant) (<- need 2 draw this alt design more i think abt it frequently). i would say wiwi white as hell emo boy but in my head he's half lakota. really glad vyncent had an extremely good character arc & turned out to be one of the characters of all time because like, now, looking back on my old vinky design im like. why the hell is he white!! but for the solid like first half of s1 or so i kept going wow. it feels really not great that the only pc i see frequently hc'ed as brown is the foreigner with the running bit that he eats rats and doesn't know how not to be violent!!!

i also would like to say some head canons of the dude!

The dna from the mantis shrimp is the least obvious, only giving him the ability to see the colors of mantis shrimp and to punch as fast as them - also maybe explaining his eyes?

the silver spinyfin gave him small fins along his humanoid back, and possibly giving him the fins on the sides of his head

he has multiple rows of teeth from the shark.

the bandage on his smaller arm is probably old, not really needed anymore, but he just refuses to take it off. it was likely from one of the monsters, of course not an instant death one, i would like to assume it was from a good people (i hate those things).

he stole the clothes from people that worked here in the past.
