The Morning after...

Meanwhile, the war in Ukraine hasn't vanished. Once again we spent last night in the corridor, away from the windows and the shattering glass. The historic centre of Odesa, where I live, is covered with scars that are getting bigger and bigger. The Odesa National Fine Arts Museum, a cosy art gallery, which turns 124 years old today, was attacked by russian missiles and shaheds. There is pain and wrath instead of celebration. And the best antidepressant for me - a walk in the park on a sunny November day.

Russian missile attack destroys Odesa's Transfiguration Cathedral.

The cathedral was hit in an overnight missile attack that killed one civilian and injured 18 others, including four children.

On July 21, UNESCO condemned the Russian military attacks on Odesa's historic center, named a world heritage site earlier this year. UNESCO listed "religious buildings" as among the reasons the city center deserved this designation. The Transfiguration Cathedral was founded in 1794. The original building was destroyed by Soviet forces in 1936, and the new cathedral was established in 2003.

❗️Preliminarily, 25 architectural monuments were damaged by a russian attack overnight in Odesa.

Among them are the buildings of the 19th and 20th centuries:

- Zabludovsky's house

- House Russell del Turco

- House of Mass

- Manuk Bey's mansion

Поїздка з Одеси до Очакова і назад

По дорозі потрапив на фотосесію. Гарний кадр потребує ризику.

Дів��ата справді відчайдушні, тамтешні береги дуже круті.

Побачив пташиний рай на Тилігульському лимані.

А зовсім поруч вже рай для людей — курорти Коблево.

Всю дорогу до Очакова, по морю, рухався мій "суперник", на повністю зеленому, альтернативному двигуні.

Ось вже й Очаків.

Далі попід річку Південний Буг, я поїхав в сторону Миколаєва, а звідти вже назад до Одеси.

Results of the rashist's night attack on Odesa:

22 people, including three children, who were injured ,received treatment in the city's medical facilities. One person died.

«Five Odesa preschools were partially destroyed as a result of russia's attack,» –said the director of the Department of Education, Olena Buynevych.

There is distractions in the historic center, which is protected by UNESCO.
