ਸ੍ਰੀਮਦ ਭਗਵਤ ਗੀਤਾ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ ਲੜਾਈ ਦੇ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਾਂਮਾਰੀ ਕੋਵਿਡ-19 ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਵੀ ਕੁਰੂਕਸ਼ੇਤਰ ਦੀ ਜੰਗ ਦੇ ਸਮਾਨ ਹੀ ਸਨ। ਗੀਤਾ ਦਾ ਇਕ ਵਾਕੰਸ਼ ਹੈ—ਨਿਮਿੱਤ ਮਾਤਰ, ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਅਰਥ ਹੈ—ਸਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਦੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਕ ਯੰਤਰ, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਤੌਰ ’ਤੇ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਸਾਰ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਅਰਜਨ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਵਾਸਤਵਿਕਤਾ ਦਾ ਯਥਾਰਥ ਵੇਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝਣ ਲਈ ਇਕ ਵੱਖਰੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਸੀ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਇਕ ਅੰਨ੍ਹੇ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਹਾਥੀ ਵੇਖਣ ਲਈ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਭਗਵਾਨ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਰੂਪ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਣ ਲਈ ਇਕ ਅਲੌਕਿਕ ਅੱਖ (ਦਿਵਯਾ ਚਕਸ਼ੂ) ਦਿੱਤੀ ਸੀ। ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਰੂਪ ਦੇਖਣ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਤੱਕ ਦੇਖਣ ਦੀ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਵੀ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਅਰਜਨ ਵੇਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕਈ ਯੋਧੇ ਮੌਤ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੈ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।

ਫਿਰ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਅਰਜਨ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਯੋਧੇ ਛੇਤੀ ਹੀ ਮਰ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਤੂੰ ਉਸ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਇਕ ਸਾਧਨ ਹੈਂ। ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਅਰਜਨ ਇਕ ਕਰਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਦੂਜੀ ਗੱਲ ਇਹ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਸੁਨਿਸ਼ਚਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਕਿ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਇਕ ਵਿਜੇਤਾ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਵੇਗਾ, ਤਾਂ ਅਰਜਨ ਹੰਕਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਮੁਕਤ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਜਿੱਤ ਅਹੰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਵਧਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ।

ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਅਰਜਨ ਨੂੰ ਯੁੱਧ ਦੇ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਨਿਮਿੱਤ ਮਾਤਰ ਇਕ ਅੰਦਰੂਨੀ ਗਿਆਨ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਜੋ ਨਿਕਲਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਸਦਾ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਅਤੇ ਹੰਕਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਮੁਕਤ ਹੋਣਾ ਤਹਿ ਹੈ।

ਕਰੋਨਾ ਮਹਾਂਮਾਰੀ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਸੜਕ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਾਂ ਕੰਟਰੋਲ-ਰੂਮ ਵਿਚ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਲਈ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਲਾਂ ਅਰਜਨ ਵਾਂਗ ਹੀ ਹੁੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਇਲਾਜ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਨਿਮਿੱਤ ਮਾਤਰ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਹਰੀ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸੰਭਾਲੀ ਗਈ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵਧੀਆ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਛੋਟਾ ਜਿਹਾ ਅਹਿਸਾਸ ਅਸਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਕ ਵਰਦਾਨ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਗੀਤਾ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਈ ਧਾਰਨਾਵਾਂ ਉਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੀਆਂ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਸਲ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਨੁਭਵ ਨਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ, ਖਾਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਲ ਸਥਿਤੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ। ਕੋਲੇ ਦਾ ਟੁਕੜਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਦਬਾਅ ਪੈ ਜਾਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਹੀਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦਲ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਅੱਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਢੱਲ ਕੇ ਸੋਨਾ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਨਿਮਿੱਤ ਮਾਤਰ ਦੇ ਅਹਿਸਾਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝਣ ਲਈ ਬਹੁਤ ਅਨੁਕੂਲ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਛੋਟਾ ਸੂਤਰ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਣ ਦੇ ਮਾਧਿਅਮ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਅੰਤਰ ਆਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਜਾਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
